Having a PhD is subjects such as that are often the *cause* for being a brainwashed ideologue.

Why is anyone trying to push diversification of interest in the first place? Trying to control what other people are interested in seems like it is (and should be) a failure from the beginning. I agree it's not a good thing to DISsuade anyone from being interested in a certain field, but nor should it be seen as a virtue to try to interest people who don't care about certain fields just to make things "equal". Men and women often have different interests and we can debate all day long about why …

I agree that this practice needs to stop. What needs to happen is the prosecution of false accusers and, at least in my opinion, the same punishment that would have been inflicted on the person they accused had they been convicted. You're advocating the murder of the accuser and her entire family. Please tell me that you can see the distinction. When people hear you say you'd actually go on a mass murder spree as a response to an injustice, whether it's real or not, people who arent familiar wit…

This comment is a perfect example of why many people dont take us seriously, dude. We work hard to try to make things better for ourselves, and all it takes is one stupid comment to erase a lot of credibility in people's minds. Please think before you speak.

Arizona law. An amount may be deducted from the gross income of a parent. You aren't that kid's parent. Do you have a lawyer? I bet you can get that shit fixed right up with a decent attorney.

Being banned from SRS is kind of a badge of honor around here

What makes you think I'm not calm? It was a simple question... a rebuttal to your assertion that he wasn't competing.

I actually did this to my parents when I was an early teen. They told me that if I wanted to go live in some shitty group home somewhere and not have any of the comforts they provided nor a family to lean on, then they would go get the phone for me. That really sunk in and I never tried to play that card again.

If I misunderstood your intent, then I apologize. I honestly thought you were trying to take the offensive in response to the thread mentioning men's issues, and I suppose it comes from a place of just seeing that it happens all the freaking time in these threads. No worries.

Women have arguably a bigger minefield: That's not competing?

Why do you feel the need to make a contest out of this? Discussion of men's issues does not preclude women having issues too, so I really dont understand the need to proclaim "Well our issues are bigger than yours!"

While I agree with these items, I'm concerned about the order. I'd be inclined to call a lawyer first and discuss your options before I called the cops, since there's been some nasty precedents set in situations like this, specifically where a man gets abused, calls the cops, and gets arrested himself even if he's the only one with injuries. It's your word against hers, and if she tells them you attacked her, they will believe her no questions asked.

Video gaming isn't just specific to you young adults either. I'm a 36yo male and I've been gaming all of my life. I own a successful business, pay my mortgage and bills and meet all of my other obligations on time, spend time with my girl, etc. Enjoying video games doesn't make one a child or childish in any way. It's just a preference of hobby.

While this may be true, we need to be careful to not become what we fight against. Remember that there are some (not many that I've seen, but some) people who call themselves MRA's who are really just sexist assholes looking for a place to call home, and we would call those people "fringe". One of the things that I love about the MRM is that we call attention to issues important to us without the blatant hypocrisy that the SRSers and feminists partake in, and I personally think we should do ever…

Perhaps you're right. I'm not a huge WP contributor, so if that's what they choose to do I wont lose sleep over it. Of further interest, this user replied again on my talk page and claims not to be a woman at all. Hard not to make assumptions sometimes, but doesn't make a difference either way.

For now I've fixed the Men's rights intro page. It's funny, she came right back and added her crap right back to the page and posted on my talk page. My response follows. Any interested can see it here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/User_talk:Valherum#Men.27s_Rights

Fixed... until she decides to start edit warring (the post on Men's rights, that is)
