Women have higher standards on average, and they have every right to. They are however hypocrite for talking about fat acceptance while shaming men for being short. Shaming people for their looks is never okay, but if you’re just not into it then nobody can force you to give the guy a chance. And nobody forces you to date fat women, except radfems you can easily ignore

Women want good-looking guys, and instead of for instance income you can’t really make yourself way more physically attractive. This is just a bit of entitlement from these ugly manosphere dudes, they can’t accept that being nice or rich isn’t really what turns on women. That’s the REAL hypergamy, and men do it as well. Social status and money are societal concepts, looks are natural and therefore deciding your attractiveness. The idea that women want rich or high status men comes from the force…

This is a rhetoric question I presume. “Toxic masculinity” is in this case just a vague term used as a scapegoat to look away

Western society shouldn’t allow this kind of mysoginy. Also, if feminists want men to care more about childcare and women to have more of a career, a concern I 100% share, then maybe they should support 50/50 custody, but no, then those poor women “need” their kid and the man is a horrible parent, so he’ll have to pay for the woman and children, only reinforcing patriarchial gender norms. Feminism went from empowering women to keeping women small and dependent of the state and men.

Guy completely ruined his decent post by endorsing MensLib, a sub that censors debate abot paper abortion on ingenuine sexist grounds. Because to “be a man” is to take responsibilty they say, and that to me is both misandrist as mysoginist. I don’t like people telling you what a mna or a woman should do and maybe that makes me a feminist, but I despise manhating feminists like those on MensLib. Also, they’re in denial about how many feminists totally reinforce patriarchial values.

Young men have more to lose anyways Young men are more likely to be found guilty as expected to have higher libido Young men might remind women of guys that assaulted or creepened them The left is all about forgiving and ridiculously soft punishment. Weinsteins confuct happened years ago and I’m pretty sure that young men accused of sexual offences right now won’t get that harsh sentences if it’s up to feminists the agression towards them implies

Large newspapers tend to have a number of columnists with very distinct personal views, respected for the sensation of the people reading it. I don’t think the paper really cares about their columnist writing sexist BS like that, if they even looked at it, cause it generates attention.

I do know (female) feminists who support men’s issues. However those probably won’t be considered feminists by the leading feminist ideology today.

“Feminism” is historically just a label and takes many forms. I distinguish basically liberal feminism, which IS about equality, radical feminism which is openly misandrist, and “middle feminism”. Middle feminism is the dominant feminism and what’s seen as “feminism” today, especially here on reddit, and is not hateful to men but rather dismissive of men’s struggles, hostile to men’s complaints and inherently for less rights for men than for women. Most “feminists” are middle feminist, but creat…
