This may not be very “red pill” of me but personally I don’t think evaluating whether a man is “high value” is very productive when choosing a partner for yourself. The idea of the “high value man” is more to give men something to strive for – dating in general, for both sexes, is about casting as wide a net as possible to attract as many possible mates as you can manage. Being a “high value” man or woman just means that you have generally desirable traits. I empathize with you feeling like dama…

I don’t think you’re crazy for breaking up with someone who is bad news for you. That is the correct choice at any age. The issue here is WHY you keep ending up in this situation. What does being “extremely feminine” mean to you? If you’re wearing cute skirts and baking cakes but are also whining to a man because of how disappointed you are in him, I would not call that feminine at all. If you embody the softness of spirit and nurturing qualities that are the essence of femininity, then you need…

Well, I wish you the best and I hope you plan to omit “in sickness and in health” from your future wedding vows.

I encourage you to do some serious vetting of your own. You’re not even married to this guy and are already on eggshells with him. He has extremely strict standards for his future wife’s “fertility,” is unwilling to compromise, and will divorce you if you can’t meet those expectations for any reason. Sincerely reconsider whether it’s wise to marry someone who will literally divorce you if you end up with unexpected reproductive health problems that are beyond your control, like ovarian cancer or…

RPW is about getting a grip on your feelings and not letting them control you. Your emotions are completely ruling you right now and you’re thinking irrationally because of it. RPW is also against frivolous divorce, so divorcing over unexpected infertility beyond one’s control is extremely anti RPW.

If you were seeking information about your fertility for your own peace of mind, that’s one thing. But to quote your post, you want to see if you’re “still fertile” (how did you know you were ever “fertile” before?) before you “get locked into a marriage and just end up kicked to the curb.” There is a difference between vetting for common life goals and divorcing someone who is infertile due to no fault of her own. You are specifically expressing concern that your future husband will abandon you…

Thanks for clarifying! This is clearly what I meant to say but I typed my original comment quickly between phone calls at work. The idea that a doctor can confirm whether you’re “fertile” or not is completely bogus, but there are tests that can give you clues into your fertility. Hope OP is getting the help she needs.

There isn’t really a test to tell if you’re “fertile.” You can get your ovulating reserve counted but that only says how many eggs you have left. I would recommend spending some time seriously tracking your cycle with the fertility awareness method – including temping plus another fertility sign. That will give you more useful data to provide to a medical provider if you ever do seek any sort of treatment. With that said, your fear of being “kicked to the curb” due to any potential vaccine-induc…

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
