Really depends on your definition of "Conservative". Conserving the power and wealth of the elite perhaps? Definitely not a Christian nation, if there ever was such a thing. There are no nations on judgement day, just individuals accounting for their actions.

Observation: The Divorce rate is falling for 0 partners. Hypothesis: The reason it is falling is that in the past, a reasonable proportion of women were virgins upon marriage as that was the social expectation. Now that expectation has gone and most women are not virgins upon marriage. However this smaller tranche of virgin brides are virgins by choice, not circumstance, and that choice is often correlated with a set of values which include that divorce is wrong; and a supportive family group th…

I am no trad con, and it is not just young men to blame, its middle aged and old men too. For generations women have been pandered to. The men have slaved away to fund all their excesses. No more. Build our own wealth and do not let it fall into the hands of feminist society and those who control it for their own ends. As for women dressing like the Amish, yes I would like that. I don't like being surrounded by whore wannabees. I would like headscarves too. A sign of humility in the women. In th…

I agree, it is men who have allowed this situation to develop into the black-hole downward spiral that is western society today. Women have done great evil, but only because men have allowed it. Men built the assets, but put women on their property titles. Men gave women the vote. Men consents to the income tax. Men legalised abortion. Men allowed females to control the education of their children. Men do the likes on images, men watch the movies of degradation, etc. Women are weak. Women follow…

The movie "Children of Men" is coming true, but in a different way. In the movie there was a mysterious medical condition that stopped women from having children. In our world, people make that decision voluntarily. But the end result is the same in the movie as real life. Empty maternity wards, empty playgrounds, empty schools, empty hearts as people question their future, suicide and an influx of refugees. PS best scene here - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MjFHqohaHYU

This song was released in 1978. At the time, the songwriter's experiences only applied to "beautiful" women. Fast forward forty years, and the experience is universalised for nearly all women, regardless of appearance. Everybody wants her Everybody loves her Everybody wants to take your baby home You watch your friends It never ends Somebody hangs up when you answer the phone Everybody tells her she's the most beautiful woman they know you go it alone

The average western man likely benefited from monogamy and the prohibition of overt polygamy during the mid twentieth century, but that is all falling away now.

Yes on an individual level. But on a societal level, perhaps the question is...how long does it take for a fatally-weakened social system to collapse? How much momentum is there before the wheel stops turning? Or a stronger force invades or simply walks in as the door is left unlocked? It could be a long time, or possibly sooner than we all expect.

What if separating the sexes (and ending breeding) was the objective all along?

Maybe you could keep going a few more verses to 18:21 onward, commonly known as "The Parable of the Unmerciful Servant". That story is about someone who has been forgiven himself, but forgets that others need the same forgiveness. Then Peter came to Jesus and asked, “Lord, how many times shall I forgive my brother or sister who sins against me? Up to seven times?” Jesus answered, “I tell you, not seven times, but seventy-seven times.

As much as I am interested in this story, it sounds fake to me. I am not a doctor, but it seems to me that a cyst in one testicle would possibly affect sperm production in that one, but not the other.

Maybe the half of the bible I had was John 8:3-11? The teachers of the law and the Pharisees brought in a woman caught in adultery. They made her stand before the group and said to Jesus, “Teacher, this woman was caught in the act of adultery. In the Law Moses commanded us to stone such women. Now what do you say?” They were using this question as a trap,in order to have a basis for accusing him. But Jesus bent down and started to write on the ground with his finger. When they kept on questioning…

Hebrews 12:16-17 are some classic verses on instant pleasure versus delayed gratification. The girl is obviously not wife material, but perhaps has done you a favour by having this crisis before you and not with you. Did you know before you met her about these things? Rejection of family advice (in particular her father's advice) would be a huge red flag to me. And it is also a violation of the fifth commandment. Maybe stating she is looking for a Christian guy is a beta bucks strategy - she is …

I have a 22-year old son that used to bang his head on the floor in frustration when he was 6 months old, but he grew out of that habit. Having sex with a woman, then cutting off all contact with no explanation, is the behaviour of a boy and not a man. It is damaging to the woman, and if you reflect on it, self-destructive to the man. Further reflection might even start to contemplate why someone would engage in such relationships at all. The best behaviour for a man is conduct that could be put…

Ghosting is a dishonourable way to treat a person. A man has honour. Regardless of what woman do.

That sounds extremely frustrating. I hope that you can find a way to build a workable live together. I understand if you cannot.

Clearly she is in breach of contract. But this is a human being, not a business deal. Why did you marry her in the first place? You must have had feelings. People should not be disposable. I have been married for several decades and have a bunch of children. There have been ups and downs, times of love and times of hate. We have both changed significantly from the relatively naive people we were at time of marriage. But we were always committed to stick together. So we have grown through those t…

Did you make marriage vows? They normally involve an unconditional commitment to another person for life. From what you have written, your wife seems to be fulfilling her commitment to the basic wifely duties. If that is the case, where is your honour? You gave your word to take her as your wife. For better, for worse, in sickness and in health, etc. You have a cat? This woman is another human being you committed to for life.

The blue-text person has incorrectly summarised the verses. The original context was action taken by a new bride's parents to defend her against the new groom slandering her for not being a virgin, when she actually was. Obviously the parents of the bride would not take this action if they were uncertain of their daughter's virginity upon marriage. The background assumption is that a woman should be a virgin upon marriage. I would suggest the law was not often used, but sat in the background to …

Please tell his children at the appropriate time, that their father was a good man. A hand-written letter in follow up would be wonderful.

24 is too young to give up. If you are really serious about having children you will find a way. I had my first child at your age. He is 21 now and working in my business. My tenth child is due later this year. Many worthwhile things in life take hard work and determination. You have the MGTOW knowledge. Stay the course.

I have suffered through plenty of sermons but don't recall hearing a discussion on these verses. A woman should learn in quietness and full submission. I do not permit a woman to teach or to assume authority over a man; she must be quiet. For Adam was formed first, then Eve. And Adam was not the one deceived; it was the woman who was deceived and became a sinner. But women will be saved through childbearing—if they continue in faith, love and holiness with propriety. But I believe them. I like t…

I like this picture. The woman has birthed a child at a young healthy age. She has kept her body in good shape. Her child is healthy too. She is breastfeeding her child, a natural thing to do. She wanted to use the bathroom but the child was hungry. Many mothers would have dumped the kid in front of a tv or computer, but she has taken the child with her. The bathroom looks tidy too, which likely means she cleans it.

Yes I talk with my sons about marriage and family. Although in the past I was a lot more confident about marriage being a natural consequence of adulthood. Now I am much more cautious and less encouraging (although not actively discouraging). I do encourage them much more to focus on their studies and build business or a career. I dont want to be very negative as I have a good marriage and form a good team with my wife. We have built a family and business together. I have 5 sons.

Superb movie, one of my favourites. Redford's character is strong, creative and self-motivated. And silent, which makes such an intense story.

End the relationship immediately. Cut off all contact. Politely. Do not insult her or attempt any kind of humiliation or revenge. You are a man not a boy. Act with honour at all times.

Wow the timing is incredible. Maybe co-incidence, or test/confirmation of your chosen path? I have read the KJV several times but prefer a more modern translation as long as it is literal (ie not Living bible equivalents). Also some modern versions delete certain good passages like parts of the woman caught in adultery or verses about the Divinity of Christ. Women like that disgust me. I don't think i could have maintained the conversation that long, but I understand the curiosity. Proverbs 31 w…

Maybe this will happen to more people. However this individual incident is a profound tragedy and I take no joy in other's suffering. No man or woman is an island.

To provide some balance, how about a different question? Can males without children really be men? Of course they can, however when I reflect on my own life experience, having children was a huge step forward in my personal development. The other big development step was similar, being having a business with multiple employees.
