There's nothing hurtful about something baseless, now if I were posting in r/amisexy then that would be more believable. Thanks a lot man. I gotta get out of this cycle. I thought about the describing myself thing and realized right now I'm the person I have to be and not the person I want to be and as much as I don't want to be single/unsocial I just don't have the time with work, school, etc to truly comit to those extra things. But I should try to balance it better. I usually am one extreme or another and that's probably my main problem.

I'm no expert but here what I'd do. When you played "hardball" by avoiding her for a week you hooked up the next time you bumped into her. You should have given her a bit or a cold shoulder, not shown interest, and bring up some other girl you're seeing. I'm certainly no expert but I think one mistake you made was texting her and not calling her. Calling her would have been showing more of a direct interest and texting makes it seem like you just want to chat. I don't think you should have sent her the pity message but it doesn't seem like you blew it.
