That's a pretty dumb argument. Tuition increased ~250% for the average 4-year public college over 2 decades after adjusting for inflation while salaries have remained relatively constant. Also, now that a college education means nothing since it is required for even an entry level job, the value has gone down. Meanwhile, an entry level job can not support an average working class citizen without cutting a lot of corners especially since you would already be in debt and housing prices, food, insu…

Why are we picking on another man. Judging a man by his appearance and not his actions is what women do.

Yup, anyone with half a brain cell notices there's quite a large amount of fake stories being posted here that get TONS of upvotes. The most notable one from the top of my head was this one: https://old.reddit.com/r/MGTOW/comments/bcywbw/thanks_mgtow_for_helping_me_understand_my_oldest/ Of course the poster deleted the story after holes were found in it. I can't tell if MGTOW is willfully ignorant or just hive minded morons. Makes the rest of us mgtow look bad.

That's fine if Scandinavia is not socialist. But then why don't we adopt their policies? It seems like you just argued a semantic position instead of refuting the policies.

Exactly! If you mention anything about mgtow it has the potential to tarnish your career and professional relations. It's better to suck up your pride for the sake of personal success.

Got it, thanks! I looked into it some more and you're 100% right about shyness not being a completely tied to introversion, I'll edit that out of my previous post. But at this point were really just arguing semantics and it doesn't add anything of substance to the point we seem to agree overall.

...It does mean shy. It's the definition if introvert, unless we live on planet drago8452 where you make all the words up. Also isolation does lead to mental illness for the vast majority, thats how we interpret and prescribe data. The "not everyone" argument is a logical fallacy which you could say that about literally anything.

By automatically assuming a toxic office space is only other option, you are making a false dichotomy, I never once mentioned it. BOTH have impacts on mental and physical health (1). There are plenty of great paying careers for introverts that dont promote an unhealthy lifestyle through long hours, sedentary, and isolation (see sources from previous post). I dont want my MGTOW brothers chasing after money if it leads to a detrimental lifestyle. On "introverts" and "extroverts". Although introver…

That's great! I'm glad you enjoy it, seriously. But that lifestyle isn't meant for the VAST majority, especially long term. Truck drivers are more prone to a variety of health risks including chronic sleep related disorders, substance abuse, obesity, and mental disorders all stemming form their occupational lifestyle. Sitting by yourself in your head daily for long hours is not healthy. I want the best for my MGTOW brothers as much as you do, but you are leaving out a huge piece of the puzzle wh…

Yup, he mentioned he went down a "youtube rabbit hole" so I'm guessing he was charmed into it as well and recently started. After a year or two he'll get sick of it and be stuck in a career with very little vertical potential. Also there's little to no job security due to self driving vehicles and the fact that the only qualifications you need is a CDL licence.

Wait, so you work 70 hours a week (you mentioned you work 5 days a week) for only roughly 72k a year, so 20/hr? That sounds awful, not sure why you're bragging.

Yeah its surprising/sad to see how many people are misinformed in this community. Ironically, most of MGTOW would be against toxic masculinity if they knew what it meant.

Couldn't you argue that any household that makes less income tends to be less stable due to living in lower income areas that have less resources and schooling. That why violence occurs in lower income communities regions is because simply, they have nothing better to do other than have sex, do drugs, ect.. which is why they have more teen pregnancies. It seems to be a lack of opportunity rather than the lack of masculinity. I'm on neither side and more than happy to engage in a discussion.

Single father on average have a higher income than single mother and are far less likely to live at or below poverty which ultimately leads to less violence/crime. Basically, it has nothing to do with masculinity and OP is a dumbass.

I've noticed that a lot as well in the recent influx of Gillete posts. I can understand that some men feel victimized, but they too are advocating to stop toxic masculinity as well without realizing it. Nobody is saying that you can't have positive values that are traditionally coupled with masculinity such as stoicism, bravery, ect., but I'm sure we could all agree that bullying, demeaning co-workers, and bottling emotions is not healthy for any group. The only reasonable argument I can see is …

Not really the women thing. But dressing up as a minority in a derogatory way is a bit different. It depends on how far they go with it as well. This is coming from an asian mgtow.

Those courses actually have the same credit hours as upper level chemistry and physics courses at my university. It's not only a complete joke, but an insult.
