What straw man? You said that women are """chastised""" but when asked for examples, you gave examples of people giving very mild critiques or criticisms of women. This proves that you believe any criticism of women is morally wrong - that it constitutes """chastising""" which means severe rebuke or reprimand. That makes you a sexist. Why are you doubling down on your L?

I think there's a misunderstanding between us. You said that women are chastised for wanting a 6 foot (14.5%), 6 figure (17%) man (i.e. the top 2.5% of all men). "Chastised" means, "rebuke or reprimand severely." You appear to have linked me to a number of examples of women being told, "this is an unreasonable standard" which is a critique. You might even call it a criticism. But it certainly does not constitute "severe rebuke or reprimand" ...wait a second!! Is it your position that any critici…

Yes, I think that's a good summary of the top part. I would just add that it doesn't mean we sleep with women we find ""unattractive"" though, because we find most women physically attractive. We would turn down women we find repulsive. It's just that that's a tiny minority.

Attraction is subjective. He's probably trying to get at the difference between physical attraction and a romantic attraction. Almost all healthy-weight women are physically attractive to me ...and to most men, in my experience. A minority of them could, if they were so inclined, inculcate feelings of "love" in most men (i.e. girl game). But most of them have any number of other characteristics that make them incompatible with a given man for the purpose of a relationship. Using myself as an exa…

Wanting less competition No. Men thrive on competition. is what [id] really behind the sudden tradwife push There is hardly a "tradwife push" just because a tiny minority is talking about one particular choice that feminists, though they have long claimed to support women's choices, actively hate. There's no push. But you should know that men really don't enjoy fighting with women. The idea of a woman who says, "I'm not going to fight - we're going to be partners" is like a breath of fresh air. …

How do the late 20s - 30s+ men even hold conversations with much younger women? The assumption behind this question is that people primarily converse about "shared interests" - that simply isn't true, particularly if you're in a relationship. You could be the same age and have all the same interests and you're still going to run out of shared stuff within a few months. You should learn how to have a conversation with anyone on any topic. Trust me, your life will be a lot more pleasant if you can…

Exactly! If women never complained, there'd be no (legitimate) criticism of them. Of course there's always criticism of everyone no matter what they do. If you go to church, an atheist will criticize you; if you stay home, a religious person will criticize you. The mere existence of criticism is irrelevant because it always exists. A woman who spends her entire life following Drake around and having sex with him whenever she can ...but never getting commitment (because he's out of everyone's lea…

why should you? I feel like I've already answered that. Here's what I said: "if you were a 6/10 guy regularly pulling 8's and 9's and then YOU complain ...that's where people will criticize you." the answer to "why should you" is connected to observation that you're complaining If women in their 30's are saying "where are all the good men" ...after spending their 20s banging super-hot men, then the answer to the question, "why shouldn't women bang men who are out of their league" is ...because y…

Here's the thing though: nobody gives a shit when men complain So therefore, in your analogy: Suddenly a 6/10 woman complains. Nobody should give a shit that women complain. Here's the part you're missing: if you were a 6/10 guy regularly pulling 8's and 9's and then YOU complain ...that's where people will criticize you. If no one is willing to buy your car at $50,000, do you think raising the price to $70,000 will work? Typical response: "women are not cars" Most redditors are too dumb to understand analogies. It's funny and sad. At any rate, a core problem that women have is that many men are willing to fuck them, but precious few are willing to commit to them. Women have made no progress is developing strategies for telling these men apart. "Raising their standards" is them grasping for any idea at all, hopin…

I told Alice that the purpose of a college education was to equip people with skills to make more money That's the male perspective. The female perspective is that the primary purpose is status. It's nearly impossible for us to understand this. If you surveyed 1000 men and asked them if they'd prefer option A: successful construction company, substantial income, financial independence. Or option B: law degree, student loans, desk job with the city... Honestly, I'm laughing just typing that out. …

Women with degrees are INSUFERABLE Story time!! Lo about 10 years ago, I get invited to a cookout by a coworker that I've never hung out with before. Turns out, his wife had scoped me out at the christmas party in part because (apropos this post) I actually have a graduate degree. She wanted to set me up with one of her friends. There was a study I saw years ago, that had four variations of the same story, and in each case it asks people how serious the offense was. Version 1: a woman is walking down a street, she looks over at a house and sees a man standing at a window, fully nude. She calls the police to report that this man is revealing himself to passersby. How serious is his offense? Version 2: a woman is walking down a street, she looks over at a house and sees a man standing at a window, fully nude. He calls the…

Thank you. I figured you were being perfectly reasonable. the rule is case by case. I wouldn't phrase it that way. I would say that the rule applies to the general case ...as all useful rules do. But if you can clearly see that you're not dealing with the general case, then it's appropriate to throw out the rule.

One thing this forum has taught me is that women/feminist/blue pillers don't even attempt to see things from men's perspective. Here's a case in point: I've received a lot of vitriol for merely saying it's a wise bet in 2023 to move on from any woman who makes you wait for sex I haven't seen your specific comments, but I can easily imagine the vitriol you're describing. And I think it's a result of not listening. Here, I'll prove it by asking you a simple question: if a woman was a virgin (or cl…

You're still not following what I'm saying. Imagine there was a pill, and I claimed that "people who don't take this pill are less happy than those who do" And your reply is, "then why don't these people (senior older women) who did take the pill (they are dating) not want a glass of water (cohabitation) along with it?"
/r/PurplePillDebate08/12/23 09:28 PM

If not, my anecdote is better. That's like if someone makes a racist statement, based on their "personal experience" that their (racist) opinion must be accepted as true unless I have "data" to disprove it.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/12/23 09:20 PM

This is such a strange reply. The claim on the table is that older women are not as happy being single. Your reply is that older women who aren't single don't want to cohabitate.

Im Let me just stop you there. A generalization is not disproven by an anecdote. If I say that men tend to be taller than women, that's a generalization, and it's true. If you reply, "but I'm a short man and all the women I know are super tall" that is an anecdote and it's totally irrelevant. Generalizations are how you understand populations.

They aren’t really single. This. Also, young women are happy "single" (because they aren't) but when they get older, they are clearly, obviously, very unhappy. There are whole subreddits dedicated to posting examples of older women whining, "where are all the good men"

It kind of depends on how you look at it. I've come to believe that the greatest blessing of being a man is the ability to be content. I rarely see women who appear to be content. For example, if I ask you to picture someone all alone in a small boat on a lake, fishing - you picture a man. And you know from experience that man is perfectly happy, fully content, enjoying his Saturday. There really isn't similar exercise that evokes a picture of a content woman. Maybe a grandmother watching her ch…

True. Running and rock climbing are great hobbies for meeting women. I've also done cycling but for some reason, it was just a different crowd and I didn't like anyone. Maybe I just got into the wrong group, but I don't recommend it. Hiking is okay too but it's older people. Nonetheless, the more people you meet, the better. They end up inviting you to parties and such.

The same way you find lottery tickets. If, by pure luck, you find one, then go ahead and marry her. I wish you happiness. But if your retirement plan is, "I'm gonna win the lottery" or your dating/relationship plan is, "I'll find an outlier/unicorn" then you're entertaining a fantasy.

women get mad! They do! They get really mad. What's funny is that they're mad over just the first-order effect. Literally nobody has even thought to analyze the cumulative effects of this. If you do the math on that, the outlook is even more bleak, and the difference between what men get in marriage, and what women get, becomes even more profound. I've thought about making a thread with charts and graphs but it's all so tiresome.

for women everything is about status Exactly. They want to be able to brag to their girlfriends about the career of the guy they're dating. You do have to have money, but you also have to be high status. Hilariously, they would prefer a drug dealer over a man with a steady job.

marriage is out of the control of women? This is like saying, "I can't control whether or not I get a job." It's technically true in the sense that I need a company to hire me. However, if you observe me making bad decisions that reduce the likelihood that a company will hire me, you are justified in calling those "bad decisions." women would rather stay single than settle It's only a problem if they complain about it latter in life. And you know this. You (yes you) fully understand the difference between a guy who isn't getting laid "because of his standards" and an incel. having preferences doesn't make it misogyny Many women will disagree. Many women will say that if your preference excludes them, it's some for of bigotry. If you don't like fat women, a fat woman will say you're fat-phobic. In this case, DiCaprio doesn't like old women, so (I presume) an old hag is claiming he hates women.
/r/AntiFeminists19/12/22 03:26 PM

It's misogyny because he doesn't like her. Here's the way these terms work: if a man likes you, but you don't want him to like you, he's creepy. If a man doesn't like you, but you wish that he did, then it's misogyny.

It gets easier to live by that philosophy as you get older. If you're not trying to get married and start a family, and you're not the type to "catch feelings" (and most guys aren't) then it's easy to have an outlook where you only care how she acts when she's in your presence. I've dated literal alcoholics before. I know she was getting wild when out by herself. It's a list, and the correct order is, (1) bartender - she probably pulls the usual three shifts a week (2) nanny - she babysits her niece sometimes, and her sister is nice enough to give her a couple of bucks for it (3) reiki "practitioner" - which means she touches people, but has a ceremony that accompanies it And by the way, there is such a thing as touch starvation and there are people who desperately crave human touch. So, if she jus…

to check how high that ranks as a date plan The reason so many guys text "wyd" at 2 AM is that, if a girl likes you, that's all it takes. She actually liked "stargaze" guy. She may still have thought at the time that she could do better, and so she left him. But now she looks back fondly, and a little sadly, at that time of her life. Nonetheless, you're absolutely right, no guy who actually likes her and proposes such a date today is going to be considered by her. If some guy wants to go stargaz…

no matter how grandiose the effort, it's all pointless. yeah I was just about to say, she mentions having had a guy that took her stargazing and took her on a date where they made pottery and she wants that again why didn't you stay with that guy then, you idiot! I'm sure she has some excuse for not staying with him. Doesn't matter though. When she was younger, she was hot enough for men to desire her enough to put in that effort. Now they don't. Simple as that.

I want you to imagine a man who says the following: I am perfectly happy to discuss with men and empathise with those who are lonely or struggling. I am perfectly happy to discuss with women and empathize with those who feel fear or apprehension around men. I feel empath for men who prioritise affection, love, and partnership in a relationship. I feel empathy for women who prioritize other things besides fear when they date me. But to me a man who believes that being treated "equally" is tantamo…

the fear of being raped or murdered is comparable to "but you had sex with Chad first!" I didn't claim it was. That's not at all how analogies work. Analogies compare the relationship between things, not the things themselves. Specifically, I compared your relationship (your lack of empathy) about men's feelings to men's relationship (and lack of empathy) about women's feelings. I compared empathy to empathy. I did not compare rape to promiscuity. But ironically, your lack of empathy prevents yo…

I don't care that he treated his ex gf to Paris. that's nice. I was trying to help you understand the male perspective by picking something that you would care about. If I failed to pick something you care about, then oh well, I guess I failed. The bottom line is that you have no empathy for the male perspective because you don't feel the same way we feel, and because you don't feel it, you discard it. I see men do this to women too - I see it all the time. For example: as a man, when I go on a …

that's a sign of growth imo. Yeah, I get you, and I'm trying to agree with you as much as I can. If I met a woman who said to me, "look, I made mistakes in my past and I'm never going to do that again - I have real regrets about it" then okay, I can try to get onboard with that. By contrast (and much more likely), I meet a woman who says, "no, I don't do that, I'm not like that" - but then it turns out she does do that, and is like that. There's no "growth" and no regret about past mistakes. Her…

trust is pretty important This is the key thing. If a woman tells you, "these are the rules for having sex" and you agree to those rules, then you find out there are different rules for different men, that's a violation of trust. I tried to create a hypothetical where you might feel the same way about a man. But, men and women are different and so, if you don't feel the same way, that's fine. I think you still get the point that it's a question of trust.

I don’t want to put out one penny before the woman who got the most stuff. I'm sure you imagine this is some pithy "gotcha" response that invalidates the complaints of all men everywhere. But actually, it's a straw man. If a man somehow knew (and I have no idea how he would know this) that you usually bang a guy an hour after meeting him, he's not going to be there with a stopwatch whining, "it's been 60 minutes and 15 seconds where's the sex at??" Do you believe a 30 year old woman can be more attractive than she was at 20? In my opinion, the only way that's possible is if she had squandered her 20s. For example, if she was fat at 20, or intentionally making herself ugly (which some women do) then yeah, she could correct that at 30 and be more attractive then. But I disagree that it's accurate to call that "improving her value." It's definitely a different kind of thing than what a man goes through from 20 to 30. The woman at 20 could hav…

You have the most power on the dating market when you first enter it, and nothing you do after that increases your "buying power" (meaning, highest-value man you can attract). Every year, and by extension every month and every day, your buying power decreases. Getting a degree doesn't increase it (in fact, it decreases it). Having a career doesn't increa…

Youth is wasted only if you were unhappy during it or unhappy with your choices. Surely youth is wasted if opportunities that are only available in your youth are squandered. I satirized this with an analogy to military service. You can really only join the military when you're young. Will you consider a bit of advice from a man who is probably twice your age and therefore has learned a few things about happiness in life? Any effort you expend trying to insult someone who has insulted you, is wasted. It's just a total waste of your time. If a girl rejects you by way of insult, no insult you throw back at her is going to make you feel better. More likely, you're going to be replaying it in your head years from now and cringing. I could tell you to just let it roll off your bac…

There are two questions here: (1) why did she talk to you in the first place? Could be that she was attracted to you. But don't assume that. Could also be that she was bored (maybe cell service was bad in that park and it'd been more than two minutes since a man entertained her). Could also be that, since she was also friends with the other juggler person, she was looking to set up a contest or competition between you - a shit test, basically. Question (2) why did she phrase it that way? She cou…

The honey-do list is a fascinating phenomenon. Every LTR and married man seems to be subjected to it. It's a part of our culture (obviously, as we've invented a name for it). If the cultural practice were reversed though, and it was normal for men to write down a list of jobs his wife must complete, this would be the sort of thing that would be taught in feminist college courses as an example of patriarchy and oppression of women. It's a great example of confirmation bias (that's when you notice…

Here's how I interpret that from her point of view: (1) as a woman, she does not feel this instinctive distaste for a partner with a promiscuous past. I use the word "instinctive" because this is absolutely not a cultural construct, as feminists are so fond of claiming. Among your ancestors, men who preferred more chaste women left more and healthier offspring simply because they were slightly less likely to get cucked. They passed on their genes and they passed on their naturally-evolved prefer…

lots of sex The meme that men care how much sex women have is just as retarded as any other feminist meme like the pink tax or patriarchy. Image two women - they are identical except for how much sex they've had. Girl A has sex about once a week. She goes to a club or calls up FWB or gets called in to be a booty call. So, for the past five years, let's say, she has had sex 52 times a year = 260 times. Maybe half of that was with "repeat customers" so let's say 130 men in five years. Girl B marri…

The original reason? It was to prevent women from being "discarded" by men and becoming destitute. Promoting families is good for society. There should be incentives to marry and consequences for ruining a family.
/r/MGTOW17/04/21 02:14 PM

I disagree in a subtle way. It is/was a bad deal, but in the past, the asset splitting and alimony wasn't automatic. In the past, the court would make a determination as to who was at fault for ruining the marriage, and punish that party. In the past, if a woman was cheating, she would get nothing. But if the man cheated, then fine, okay, he loses half his shit. Losing half your shit and paying alimony was punishment for men who discarded a faithful wife. It was invented as punishment. Amazingly…

Women are into looks just like men True, but the particular aspects of "looks" that women are into are different from the particular aspects that men are into. Specifically, what men call "looks" in a woman are signals of fertility. These reach their max in a woman's early 20s, and (sadly) decline thereafter. Everything that women do, from makeup to hair, is an attempt to duplicate signals of fertility - to make themselves look young. There's a reason the store is called "forever 21" and not "fo…

A big factor in the past though was that men were much more likely to die from warfare, hunting, defending the tribe against animals, or even just boys playing rough. The "attachment" state she described (where you feel "in love" and thus attached to the person) lasts about three years. And that makes sense because that's how long it should take to bear and ween a child. Of course, modern women may never get to that "attachment" stage. That's the instinct that we…

So basically, it was a gender separatist movement. But here's the thing - here's the absolutely fucking hilarious thing - that's not what got them in trouble. Oh no. Hating men is super duper okay. No, what got them in trouble is that they banned trans women.

The better way to make that argument is in relation to developers putting up high rise buildings in places like Miami. Don't those buildings take many decades to start becoming profitable? I don't know. But I do know that individual rich people will sometimes throw away money on stuff - million dollar cars for example. I don't see it as that much of a stretch that they'd buy a house that they can only live in for 20 years.

all for what? Climate change? Climate change is a real issue, but no, that's not why. The "why" is, control. When they have control, they're safer. What they fear (the only thing they fear) is the tiny, but non-zero chance of a popular uprising that would actually threaten them. They might have lulled themselves into the belief that no such uprising could ever happen ...but then it did, or at least, it got started. It was called "Occupy Wall Street" and I really do believe it terrified. The effi…

Why would you think there are no observers? Mostly because I've seen the video where they're told to leave because "we're shutting down for the night" only for the counting to continue. Oh and also, I've seen the video of cardboard being put over windows to keep them from observing. I guess those are the main reasons. Consistently bad, maybe. I went to your post history, sorted by controversial, and this post was near the top: "paying rent is modern slavery" No. No it's not. The chief difference is that slaves don't get choices. You can choose to live further away from the city where it's cheaper. You can choose to have a roommate. You can also choose to take out a loan and buy property ...but doing that is risky, because you might want or need to change jobs and you'd lose money if you sell too soon. The pro…

There’s a funny joke in an episode of futurama where the president is trying to get a scientist to save the planet. The scientist makes several demands: a hefty research grant, a tenured faculty position, and research assistants. The president agrees and the scientist turns to leave “Wait, you haven’t saved the planet!” the president says. “I don’t have to, I have tenure” is the reply. It’s like women with marriage. Why should they perform any “duties” once they’ve got that ring?

A better way to state it would probably be: the median woman, sorted by number of sexual partners, has had more partners than the median man Part of the reason she couldn't wrap her head around your comment is that she's thinking, "every time a man and a woman have sex, a woman's partner count goes up by 1 and a man's count goes up by one, so the total should always be the same, and the average should always be the same" In a fixed population, that would be true ...but your point could also be t…

I can still remember when the term "SJW" was coined and people were alternately denying that there was a trend toward that ideology at all, or they were just laughing and saying, "these people are in for a rude awakening when they hit the corporate world." There is nothing anywhere in Uber's algorithms that even records a driver's gender, let alone uses that in any sort of pay calculation. Think about it - why would evolution create an animal that keeps living after it's reproduced and its children are independent? The reason is: kin selection. It's because having grandparents around to help with infants and adolescents and to pass on culture has enormous selective advantage. And how does evolution motivate you to do …

Take a small amount out of your budget each month. If you want, you can move the cash to a separate account. For example, I use a local bank for most things (that's where my paychecks go), but I transfer $600 a month to USAA for car payments. I've got tens of thousands in that account, and when I buy a car, I pay for it from there. For smaller, infrequent things, you can take it out of your budget without needing to move it to a separate account, if you want. For example, my HOA is $120 per year…

Start by detailing every single purchase & bills he pays for a month or two. For a month or two?? Do people really not keep track of every single penny they spend at all times?? It's really not that hard, and it's well worth the effort so that you're never surprised when a credit card bill comes. I just hold onto credit card receipts and put them into a spreadsheet. If I withdraw money from an ATM, I keep the ATM receipt (rather than track what I spend the cash on). The only extra stuff I have t…

In the end, the painful truth will always be better than the comforting lie. Also, it's helpful for everyone involved when people's expectations are overt. I'm not kidding or being ironic here. If FDS women are gold diggers, then okay, "good luck with that" ladies (I've seen a couple of pics - they're going to need the luck), but if they will come right out and tell a man what their expectations are, that's good for the man too. Well, one thing to keep in mind: the women arguing with her are doing it because they feel she's insulting them. Women like to brag about their men. OP goes on facebook and says basically, "if your man isn't at this level then you've got nothing to brag about" - that's what the other women are reacting to.

At the very least, don't do online dating where you're going to get catfished like this guy (he says she weighed 100lb over what she said) Get involved in as many social activities as you can. You'll make friends with men and women, and there will inevitably be a few women who are interested in you and give you signals you can pick up on. You can preemptively screen for healthy-weight through the activities you choose (there are no fat chicks doing rock climbing) Even if you rarely find a girl y…

When something's value is intrinsic, like a piece of art, that value can be destroyed or it can fade with time (or in this case, she wastes it) and when it's gone, it's gone forever. When something's value is what it produces, like a tool, it can be reshaped, restored, sharpened, or just repurposed. Maybe you never get back to the original value - maybe a restored knife is never as sharp as it originally way - but it still can have some value if you put in the work to sharpen it.

This is good, but I would change this: my part time work at McDonalds doesn't make the sex better to: my part time work at McDonalds doesn't make me less wealthy than an investment banker! It doesn't mean I'm not financially secure! See, whenever you flip the genders to make an analogy, you also have to change up the gender role. OP is triggered by men being attracted to young, fertile women. So in your analogy, it has to be a guy triggered by women's attraction toward wealth and status.

There was a girl I had picked up in a bar, had a good time with, but didn't want to commit to. She was, believe it or not, okay with that, so we "stayed friends" (and continued to bang occasionally). She really, seriously wanted to get married. She was on a mission. So, she was on dating sites and telling guys "no hookups - looking for something serious" that sort of thing. Once I met up her and a girlfriend out for a drink and they're talking ...gossiping, and she points out a guy sitting at th…

they're pro-feminist, but anti-porn. And don't forget, the genres of porn most popular among women are the bondage ones. Meanwhile, what are regular heterosexual men watching most of the time? What's the male fantasy? the woman is turned on. She really, really wants to have sex. the woman participates. She likes giving and receiving pleasure. the woman orgasms, multiple times - her getting off is a central theme. That's the "male fantasy" in most porn. Sure, sure, there's fringe stuff. But mostl…

Can a man force a woman to become a parent against her will, and contribute financially to the raising of a child she didn't want for 18 years? Also: can a man have a child with a different woman and then trick his wife/girlfriend into believing it's hers? Frankly, that scenario is worse, morally. How many men wanted children, and were lied to and told they now had children, only to discover the truth when it was too late to do anything about it? Imagine caring about your family line, and believ…

Basic stuff Nothing wrong with that. Like you said, you're already ahead of the pack just by knowing the basics. Here's a tip for you: get a jar of curry paste. It improves just about everything. And here's a recipe if you want to try it: two chicken breasts, bake them at 350 for 45 minutes. I use corningware like this - it's a good investment if you don't have something like this already. You can put some tin foil in there so that when you're done cooking the chicken, there's basically zero cle…

Literally nobody cares how much sex a woman has, and I can prove it. Imagine two women, A and B. Woman A married her high school sweetheart, with whom she lost her virginity. Woman A has very high libido and fucked her (happy) husband five times a week, on average, for the duration of their five year marriage. But her husband is an idiot and cheated on her, so she divorced him. Woman B goes to a club and picks up a random guy, or does a tinder date that ends in sex about once a week, sometimes l…

WUT?! The thing to keep in mind when you read articles about men and women dating is, they aren't talking about average men - those are invisible, remember? They're talking about the men they actually dated. They're talking about Chad. So the way to read those two sentences is: "Men’s relationships frequently overlap" "the high-value top-10% man who was fucking me for a couple of years when I was 20 could get any woman he wanted, and indeed he frequently did, and I was replaced before I even rea…

Has your wife been faithful (as far as you know)? Have you had your children’s dna tested to verify they’re truly yours? Generally the way it works is, you have to fuck her well the first time, then rebut any attempts she makes at locking you down. If she wants your dick bad enough, she'll settle into the FWB role. "Will you be my FWB?" In my opinion, that's way too overt. Just invite her over, put some moves on her, and then refuse to commit.

Something I just realized: I've never had a girl say something like, "my dad used to do that and it drove me crazy" but I've had them say, "my dad does that too!" - stated in a positive way about things like how I part or how I cook steak. It's so fucking tragic how rare it is to hear a comparison to a father (all of which will be positive comparisons) vs. a comparison to an ex-boyfriend (which will be a negative comparison).

An important practical lesson to take from this is: don't bother being sentimental. Don't imagine that if you confess your undying love to a woman, that will win her over. Women do not value that - they just don't. You can still date if you want. Hell, I do. But if for whatever reason it's not working out, just walk away. You can't "win her back" and caring enough about her to even try it only makes you less like a psycho and thus less attractive to her. If you can be happy and satisfied with yo…

Apparently, a lot of drama for women is intentionally vague about the female protagonist in order to allow the viewer/reader to imagine herself in that role. I'm getting this insight from a review of the Twilight series I saw once. If I remember correctly, it said there's very little backstory for the main character, and what there is tends to be vague and applicable to everyone. Love and respect are both emotions I think respect is a higher cognitive process. It's a concept that you have to be taught. Plot twist: she wants you to answer "no" to those questions, and if you do that, and you're a bit attractive, she's down to fuck. See the thing is, there are other dating sites for "good christian girls" to meet "marriage quality" men. Tinder is a hookup app. She on Tinder looking for hookups. This is a shit test. This is her plausible deniability. "See!! I'm a good girl!!" she thinks to herself as her next shitty relationship "just happens"

Monogamous relationshits just aren't natural Neither is diet and exercise. Our natural instinct is to be lazy and pig out on cake and ice cream, just like men's natural instinct is to fuck every woman, and woman's natural instinct is attraction toward only the top 10% of men. What natural doesn't necessarily lead to happiness. Following your instincts the way a leaf follows the wind isn't necessarily a good life plan. When you feel a desire to be lazy and eat ice cream, the better course of acti…

morally obligated note that none of them will dare mention the actual moral obligation in this scenario: her wedding vows. She vowed to stay with him "till death do us part" - and she's tossing that out the window. He hasn't yet adopted the daughter. He was going to, but he hasn't done it yet. Nobody will dare criticize her for breaking an actual vow that she actually took. But they will criticize him for not taking one that he was going to take in the future.

I blame the guys on there too As much as women are hypergamous, men are polygamous. As strongly as they want only the top male, we have an equally strong instinct to want as much pussy as we can get. You can blame the guys, but it wont do any good. The only thing that really matters is finding happiness in your own life. If you want to, you can play the dating/hookup game. You can play it and you can do well. I've certainly done well along those lines, and I'm nothing special. But even if you do…

In other words, the comfort and security of a man who loves you in your old age, and the pride of seeing your own children happy and successful, and the joy of spoiling your grandchildren. I'm not convinced she would be happy in her old age no matter how she played her cards. No, probably not. "Contentedness" doesn't seem to be a state modern women are capable of achieving. Her magnum opus, Sex and the City is pure, unrefined female fantasy and even the fictional characters aren't content. They thrive on drama. I will actually agree that men also shouldn't have sex with many women. That's all fine and good but kind of misses the point. The point is, there's a difference in how men and women feel about a promiscuous partner. Maybe men shouldn't be promiscuous, but if women aren't enforcing that standard because women don't care, then it doesn't matter. It's a bit like men complaining that women care about height. If you say, "I actually agree that tall women are better" - that's nice, but it's not the p…

There's actually a term for this: anti-game. It's a tactic to get rid of a girl in a way that she accepts. It's much safer than "ghosting" - which can make them angry and lead to a false rape allegation.

Here are my guesses: high on meth = he probably just had too much coffee and was jittery threatened me = he probably made a pass using the PUA theory that women like dominant men. He probably said something like, "I'm going to fuck you silly" and she took it as a threat. harassed me at work = she probably ghosted him, so he googled her name and emailed her at work. asked me to drive 3 hours = she probably lives in a tiny town with fuck-all interesting things to do, and he lives in a city. He was…

If shes over the age of 21 then shes throwing the pussy and the porn experience to someone. I've been on both sides of that equation (been the guy who is trying to date her while she fucks someone else, and the been the fuck-buddy to a girl who is going on dates with men she doesn't fuck), and have witnessed it third-hand plenty of times (for example, by dating a girl who has a roommate and seeing the guy the roommate is fucking, then seeing the roommate go on dates and come home at 9:00). Botto…

I typed up a Tolstoy response to this guy. Hope you don't mind if I paste it here as a response to you. This is for /u/suickers: What the OP actually says: "I wasted most of my 20s under a drunken, rebel haze" What you somehow managed to hear: this sounds like somebody who had a good youth, gained some valuable life experience She's not where she wants to be at this point in her life. She's unhappy. And she admits that she wasted her 20s (when she was the most attractive that she'll ever be). Bu…

Cruise and Kidman's characters are married. They go to a fancy party and Cruise stops paying attention to her for like, five minutes (and for a perfectly valid reason - he's a doctor and some whore overdoses and he's asked to take a look at her). During the five minutes she's without attention, Kidman dances with some random Chad. Later she (very cruelly) describes in great detail how she was ready to leave him for Chad.

A few years ago there was a video going around of a lawyer talking about strategies to invalidate a prenup. In general, if there's any property at all that wasn't disclosed, the prenup is tossed out. The example he gave was a man who had one of those special refrigerators where you keep wine. People who drink a lot of wine stock up and keep the bottles there. Well guess what, if you owned that before getting married, that was enough to get your prenup thrown out. It doesn't matter that the wine …

understand there pain, be sympathetic I am. I try to be. One thing that makes me extra sympathetic (and most people don't seem to realize this) is that sex is a zero-sum game. There's a certain amount of sex that's possible - it's basically the sum of all the times that all the women on earth want sex. You can't increase that number by changing male behavior. All you can do is teach an individual man to out-compete a different man. Maybe incels are lazy, unkempt, and socially awkward. Maybe you …

The male pill is on its way That and fusion power. Seriously, it's just 20 years away! Look, I think we've all seen the studies on how hormonal birth control has changed women's behavior (meaning, they're attracted to different men while they're on it than when they go off it). Do you really want to play that game with your own body? It'll probably turn you into a soy-boy

Whenever I've tried talking to incels, frankly I get the impression they're just literally autistic. It's like they can't even hear someone who is talking to them. I have nothing but sympathy for men who encounter frustration in dating - I promise you, I would never ridicule a fellow man or put him down. Dating today is really difficult. I get that. It's a fucking wasteland. But I've had conversations with incels and I try to make a point that I honestly think will help them, and they act like t…

There was a story a while ago where one of the big dating sites prevented men from matching with women younger than some specified number of years. So like, a 30 year old dude was prevented from seeing 19 year old women. This restriction was implemented because 30 year old women were whining that the really attractive males didn't want 30 year old women. Men of course will need to include accurate age and height. And income. Don't forget income. I've never done online dating, but honestly, if th…

controlling It's not controlling when you're not dating yet. You are free to make any demands you want before you start dating. Your demands might be unreasonable, but they are not, by definition, controlling. Controlling would be obtaining commitment and then afterwards saying, "oh by the way, now that you're committed, here's some stuff I want you to change." A great gender-flipped example might be porn. A girl is free to say, "I wont date a guy who watches porn." She's going to have a hard ti…

summary: Attractive woman laments that she can't seem to find a man willing to enter into an LTR. She identifies the problem: Well, after years of going up and down the relationship ladder in ‘kinda/sorta’ relationships I discovered a very similar pattern. The blokes I was dating were bad blokes. Like, serious duds. ... one thing that really stood out to me recently is that every bloke I look at with big, stoopid, puppy dog eyes has the exact same thing in common: he is unattainable. So okay, ea…

people are going to laugh at her. If your response is ...my response to people laughing at her? I think you're messing up the analogy. If you mean, "my response to her saving for retirement" then why did you even mention people laughing?

why not? Well, the chance of having a kid with downs or autism goes up substantially, but that's not what people are saying. People aren't saying "don't" so you asking "why not" is missing the point. People are laughing about what appears to be poor planning. It's like if she says she's 40 and would like to start saving for retirement, people are going to laugh at her. If your response to that laughter is, "why not??? Why sHOUldn't SHe saVE fOR RetirEMent???" <--- that's missing the point.

They either dont want to drink with her ($$$, or be seen) or maybe they are workout regime types My guess is the former. Guys who don't drink at all because they're gym-bros aren't common enough for her to call it "a problem." More importantly, those guys will happily sit in a bar and drink water while their date has a cocktail or two if the girl is hot enough. No, the reason she thinks "guys don't drink" is because she is matching with guys who look at her photo and immediately decide that she'…

for the right guy, he won't need to follow this list. I'm starting to understand that the way this all works is, Chad sweeps her off her feet, she's happy and in love for a while (even though she may only ever be a "plate" - Chad's still dating other girls). He eventually dumps her when she starts making demands. Afterward, she keys in on something Chad did that she didn't like - she put up with it at the time because she was in love, but now that it's over, she retcons it to say that it was a h…

For anyone who doesn't get that reference, it's a lyric from this Taylor Swift song which, if you can sit through it, every line is WAATGM material. My favorite line is: I can make the bad guys good for a weekend I put that in title-font because it's a huge red pill - women love this shit. The whole song is full of them. Also, in my defense, I didn't recognize the lyric. I just figured she didn't make it up herself and I googled it.

seeking external validation In their defense, the way I interpret those posts is, they are claiming that they are spending no more money than other men who have wives/girlfriends. In other words, they're saying that MGTOW saved them enough money to buy a car. I have to say, that claim does align with my experience. My wife and I had the same job and make the exact same salary. I managed to get divorced without losing my shirt (not having kids helped) and I was amazed how much more money I had af…

In general when a woman says "Men are willing to fuck me but not invest time or money in me," she means Chad. Exactly. They don't use the word "chad" they literally just use the word "men" to mean the same thing. It's why people say that lower-status males are invisible. They're not even considered men. This sort of thing is excellent motivation to hit the gym.

they feel so guilty I kind of doubt that. I think that their feelings about you are reality. When she's disgusted by you, that means (in her mind) that you're disgusting, ergo it is appropriate to feel disgust and there's no reason to feel guilt. I doubt they even connect the loss of attraction to the fact that you shared your feelings. That's just a coincidence.

She is fat, yes. But check this out: three days ago she made the following comment in a thread about the "friend zone" I recently had someone get mad at me because they were under the impression we were “seeing each other and getting close” because he started sending me photos of his family and sharing things.... except I never asked about it. number of previous partners It's actually worse when there are fewer people they're willing to name as "partners." In other words, a girl in her late 20's who has been "single" for a whole year actually has a higher count than one who says she had three boyfriends in a single year.

That's amazing. I remember seeing it posted on /r/subredditdrama years ago because the men there were angry whenever a woman would show up and admit that she is able to obtain sex, but just can't get a boyfriend, and insist that this made her "forever alone." The males would reply, "we can't get either of those things!!" So then the women split off and started a sub just for them: /r/foreveralonewomen And the funniest part of this whole story is, that subreddit had to go private because every wo…

Jane Goodall actually documented cases of female chimpanzees sneaking away (I'm serious, they took great care to make sure nobody saw them) from their own troop and loitering on the border of a different troop. They'd let a patrolling male from the other group find them, bang one out, then the female would return to her own group. It's just instinct.

I feel like a man I would want to date, would choose a younger woman If she's telling the truth and she is indeed still thin and fit, then there are still plenty of guys willing to date her. The problem is that little clause, "I would want to date" - the problem isn't that she can't get a man, it's that she can't get "a man I would want to date"
