I recommend “why does he do that” by Lundy Bancroft. He has worked with abusive men for decades. He can tell you about the mechanisms of domestic abuse. I think literally everyone should read it. He busts a lot of myths about it, it was honestly mindblowing.

Women having higher standards than men. Maybe they have in theory but they certainly aren’t acting on it. Most women are with men who are below them in looks while not being above them in other areas except maybe earning. Attraction comes when you come to know someone.

The misogyni of the internet by far outweights the misandry. Saying women can say and do whatever they want without consequences as proved by FDS is the biggest conformation bias I have seen. Besides that, MGTOW’s are the epitome of misogyni. Is there any other part of the manosphere worse than them? Also pay attention to how you excuse it and blame it on women. Men’s abusive behavior is blamed on women, not just here but generally.

Reading through your comments you really get it. It’s nice to have a guy explain it to manosphere men since they automatically dismiss anything a woman say if it doesn’t fit into their views.

It’s an example of how they choose the good guys. Katrina isn’t taking any shit. The pretty girl represents an obvious minority of women. Even the comment that points out the 10 % fatherlessness for black people, which ofc is an absurdly unusually high percentage, is “only” 10 %. (And isn’t that stat outdated by now).

What you describe would ofc be a problem. Btw society doesn’t want women to be above men. Men are respected more, taken more serious, and people overestimate their abilities while underestimating women in work environments. I don’t intend to have a further discussion and likely won’t respond.

I don’t know why divorces are inititated. How should I argue this? You want me to pull unfounded claims out of my ass for the sake of arguing who has the best unfounded arguments. I’m not gonna waste more time on this.

Wow so true, thank you.

This accomplishes nothing. You unironically say that if I don’t have a better explanation than you, you are right. I’m not overconfident, I don’t claim to know anything. And my ignorance does not prove your arbitrary claims to be true. All I want is a little bit of critical thinking. I see you become defensive in your last comment so I think we should just quit it here.
/r/PurplePillDebate31/12/20 01:57 AM

With this level of intellectuality I assume I can pull any claim out of my ass and claim it as the absolute truth (because how could it not be if I believe it is) and it would fairly prove your hypothesis wrong. I seriously hope you see how wrong this is and how you cannot just believe in arbitrary claims this strongly.
/r/PurplePillDebate31/12/20 01:39 AM
1

No, there’s literally no causation. You are so staunchly believing in something you have made up out of nowhere with no logical causation, that the fact that it could not be true is laughably unbelievable to you? You still don’t see how crazy your bias is?
/r/PurplePillDebate31/12/20 01:27 AM
1

The last line. Do you not see how you fit irrelevant parameters into it to support your bias? Every claim you make is a causation assumed out of nowhere and which you build the whole fundament on.
/r/PurplePillDebate31/12/20 01:20 AM

And yet you aren’t changing it because logic is irrelevant.
/r/PurplePillDebate31/12/20 01:17 AM

Jesus Christ you make it worse and worse. No, this is not the flow that happens lol. The bias of red pill ideology you have sounds so intense I doubt I can say anything that can contribute to the discussion.

It’s very unfortunate for those who have become unhappy. Still, do you have any reason to believe that your hypothesis here is what goes on, and that you don’t assume this is the explanation because i fits into a red pill explanation? Your exaggerated use of red will language, as if you need to name drop and fit in all the terms, makes it hard to take serious. The age groups are also oddly specific.

Men go strongly after physical appereance and youth because they are biologically wired for it. Physical appereance signals fertility and health, it’s not for no reason. Social and financial success say something about your intelligence, endurance, charisma, motivation, stress-resistance, etc. It’s a symbol of a lot of good traits that adds points to how good of a potential mate you are. Saying that it’s about the money by default is anti-scientific. Money is a social construct, our deeper insti…

What incentive do you have to believe this? Obviously, it’s a small minority of women who are actual gold diggers. Prefering someone who is slightly better off than yourself is not gold digging. It has nothing to do with the money in those cases. Doing financially well by your own success (and not inherited money or from a law suit) is one sign out of many of being a good mate. The majority of humans date people in their own socio-economic class. I don’t know why we should pretend reality is dif…

I’m not saying it doesn’t happen. People even reproduce to use their offspring as trophies. But how is marriage a disadvantage to men more than women? An unhappy marriage is unhappy for both parts, and if anything, marriage affects women more negatively than men. This article covers a lot of the research and states that the major studies on marriage find no significant sex differences but the studies that do find sex differences are consistent in finding that marriage affects women more negative…

If he has he isn’t a beta anymore. Charisma develops with age. A man can be shy and awkward in his teens and early 20’s (tbh that’s rather expected, young people are insecure) but grow up to become charismatic and financially well off. He may still be not so good looking but that doesn’t necessarily matter. Looks fade and women are attracted to men in their age group, contrary to men who go more for youth and looks in women. So the power dynamic in the mating game can change later on.

What do you mean by social proof?
/r/PurplePillDebate18/12/20 01:05 AM

Okay. Why say it in such a sarcastic way? It isn’t a bad stragedy. People should rather wait with life commitments until at least their brain is fully developed, and even better, until they have some life experince and are more confident in themselves and more at peace than they are in their early 20’s. Stettling young is more likely to fail because you don’t know what you want in life and are more likely to make choices that stem from social conditioning and naivity.

You talked about how religion oppresses women, and the reason why the big male-dominated religions have a tendency to view women as inferior to men, being owned by men, and see female sexuality as something to be repressed and shamed, is exactly to take away women’s one advantage of being able to control men through their sexuality. One reason why fgm exist, as a more extreme measure, but also just shaming women for even having a sex drive, and denying that women have a sex drive or can orgasm. …

It’s the other way around. Men are greatly advantaged when it comes to gaining power. They are physically stronger and more dominating, aggressive, confident, and have less empathy. They will naturally rule, and make the rules of the society. The way to achieve power will be the male way which ofc will exclude women. Not necessarily on purpose, women just can’t compete with men when male traits are the winning traits, and the power system just intrinsicly favors men. Men will also actively exclu…

I like your flair. I’ve felt the same for a long time, just with girls mainly (because that’s what I relate to). Reproduction is the literal cause of all suffering and all children has always deserved better than this world.

I’m more thinking of the risk of post partum depression, post partum PTSD, bodily damages and such from giving birth. Just that is an extreme thing to expect his partner to go through just for his own needs’ sake. If you think the risks will be worth it that’s all good but I think it should be viewed as an extreme sacrifice you may end up regretting even in the case that your husband did the majority of the child rearing.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/06/20 11:14 PM

Is it a good idea to compromise when it comes to having children? It just seems like such a extreme decision especially for a woman. I don’t think people should do it unless they 100 % want to.

So that’s why married men live longer and are happier while that’s not the case for women? Men gain more from women than women gain from men.

Thank you for helping her out. So many girls have no idea how to manage guys and dating and it’s so sad to see them wasting their potential.
/r/PurplePillDebate31/05/20 10:37 PM

The “women don’t consider 80 % of men attractive” is not an argument because it’s purely theoretical for the women. They date and have relationships with the 80 %. That OkCupid study showed that women are more equalitarian when it comes to looks than men. How people behave in reality is what counts, not what they think theoretically. Men go more for looks than women if they are able to.

Maybe I read your first comment wrong but I understood it as males today are more weak and have less game compared to men from the past. But I agree with you that people must have become more quick fix oriented now in the digital age. Hopefully this will create a reverse psychological effect at some point. For example a new-found interest in meditation, mindfulness, and stoicism is rising.
/r/seduction03/04/20 06:51 PM
1

Agreed. But I think you are romanticizing the past. Our brains haven’t chanced in thousand of years; we are still the same. People just have technology to appeal to their monkey brains now that they didn’t have earlier. It’s not like that’s specific to dating. The people who want quick fixes to dating are likely the same who want quick fixes to all other things as well.

Boys learn to be in contact with their emotions and have emotional intelligence as they should. That is attractive. A strong masculine man needs high emotional intelligence as well. Idk what you think of when saying that boys are becoming weak. It’s not like men haven’t always been emotionally needy as they have always needed women and searched for emotional fulfilment with women. They were just more emotionally repressed earlier.

You clearly don’t know what you are talking about. Stop judging people so hard and think you know everything about them and their life and their emotions and what they want and think is good for them. What you are talking about is an imaginary person you have designed to fit your beliefs. It’s not real, this person does not exist and is not representative for humans in general. No, I’m not talking about superficial views and fleeting feelings which I made clear. I was talking about the deep feelings that every human experience to some degree, the difference being how they cope with them. Some people use unhealthy coping mechanisms whether man or woman. We were just talking about men here. With women, a similar case would be women who hate men and blame men for what not or envy them. I understand what you are saying and I’m not disagreeing. With hate, anger and resentment I wasn’t talking about anger that actually stems from external things. I ment the kind of anger that stems from yourself. This internal anger could stem from being dissatisfied with yourself and your life. Low self esteem, lack of support, low emotional and social intelligence, loneliness, worthlessness, emptiness, past trauma, etc. Just any bad feeling and unsatisfied need. If unable to cope humans will ma…

The resentment and anger are obvious. I’m talking about the raw feeling, not how some of their (unrelated) behavior is categoriezed or viewed by others or society. The resentment just stems from various defence and coping mechanisms. Not red pillers, as you pointed out, but the manosphere in general.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/03/20 10:49 AM

Would be nice if all red pillers understood it like you. For a lot of manosphere talk there’s this underlying women-hate even if it’s not explicit you can still just feel it in their attitude. And the self pity is pretty strong in this sub as well. Being mad at women for your problems is possibly the worst coping. You have to genuinely love what do for it to be worth it, PUA is no exception. It’s not possible to become good at something if you have underlying resentment.

If you know about a person’s sexual history (not from them but maybe from shared friends or where else you’d get such personal information from) I see how that could influence your views on them and could make you compare yourself to them. I guess that was a premise of the discussion which I haven’t accounted for. But yeah, that would likely influence one’s view on them in most cases and would prevent some of the idealization of them which would prevent romantic feelings. But in general, how oft…

Again, it depends on the need. Casual sex satisfies the need for casual sex and not more than that. But if you have sex immediately with someone you could otherwise have crushed on you remove the magic. When people crush on someone, their crush is always somewhat distant. When it comes to falling in love you have to be a little distanced to your target so that you can idealize them and feel a longing for them. Often the more far fetched the target is the stronger the emotions. When people get li…

Most men don’t think like that. They don’t want to delay gratification. And that’s why they shouldn’t have instant gratification. It’s seduction 101 to delay gratification, build up tension and make a grand finale. The more you crave it the stronger the release.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/03/20 04:21 PM
1

Why would sex give the man power? After sex both can just decide if they want or don’t want to continue it. Both have the ability to decide that at any point in the dating process. The guy benefit from the tension as much as the woman when it comes to the release being much more pleasurable after waiting and teasing. If he doesn’t think it’s worth it fine, no one will force him to anything. He’s free to leave whenever. But I don’t see the point of not engaging in something that results in better…
/r/PurplePillDebate13/03/20 02:49 PM

That serves a different purpose. That’s just sex. If you see potential in someone then why would you release the tension quickly contrary to building it up?
/r/PurplePillDebate13/03/20 02:30 PM
1

I’m not “making him wait” wtf. Sex is not for him but for both of us, obviously. Idk why anyone would want to fuck immediately, what’s the point? Why not delay it, build up sexual tension, get all crazy about each other and then finally release it when you can’t hold it back anymore? That makes the craziest sex.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/03/20 02:16 PM
1

I see what you mean but it doesn’t fit how women act. Personally I’d fuck a guy quickly if I didn’t value him but would postpone sex and build up sexual tension if I saw him as having potential. Not that all women are like that but some are and some are not. You can’t generalize women’s behavior like that.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/03/20 02:06 PM
1

So a man has self respect by only fucking women who like casual sex and not ones who don’t? Seems like a completely irrelevant parameter to value oneself on.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/03/20 01:50 PM
1

Like sex is what should determine a relationship. I’d fuck a guy fast if I wasn’t interested in anything serious but wait and build up a shitload of sexual tension if I like his personality and want to keep seeing him. Why release all tension immediately, it makes sex worse.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/03/20 12:38 PM

This is terrible advice that would just make men miss out on chances with women who want something serious or the many women who are not into casual sex.

Even the confidence one is not black and white. My absolute biggest crush has been on a guy with social anxiety, and his anxiety made him more attractive to me. And why that? Probably because his avoidant behavior made him seem mysterious which was really attractive. And his emotionless face made him seem so stoic. And he was easily liked by everyone because behind his cold facade he was such a sweet humble and genuine guy. His insecurities were also attractive because I was like, how can you no…

I think who gets a partner is ultimately about luck. Many different factors can increase or lower your chances. If you are in the bottom 0,1 % of unattractive people there will be some people somewhere who would theoretically want to be with you but your chance of finding them is low because there’s few of them. The more attractive you are, the easier it is to randomly meet people who want to be with you. The more people you meet, and what type of people you meet, is even more of an important fa…

The manosphere is a small minority of all men. For some weird reason all normal men and women find them ridiculous. They can see how the manosphere projects its self hatred on to women and need to blame women for their problems. /r/PurplePillDebate01/03/20 01:43 PM

This is just heavy projection. You are literally blaming all women right now. And for a made up problem. Whatever fuels the hate I guess. Blaming a whole gender for ones own problems is the manosphere in a nutshell.

I’m not desperate so I only go for people I find worth it for my personal standards. Not being desperate def is a big privilege but it’s something people have to teach themselves. To find happiness by oneself. I have never heard a woman claim that top tier men should be forced to be with them. Contrary a shitload of miserable men think women should be forced to be with them. Is it shallow to want a good man? Is a woman shallow if she doesn’t want an alcoholic for example? Or someone emotionally cold and dismissive? Women need to have a standard and shouldn’t have their life controlled by men’s feelings and entitlement. Ofc people should go for what makes them happy. Men should not settle either in cases where they could get better. This comes down to what people even want from relationships. What are they seeking? Fulfilment? To escape loneliness? Women just don’t go for the looks in the first place. Women don’t have chads in their 20’s or even teens as their first priority. They go for age appropriate men who have their shit together. Not hot fresh guys, contrary to what the OP claims.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/02/20 01:50 PM

Women also go for average men practically? Now it depends on desperation. A co-dependent person will have a lower standard due to desperation. A very independent person won’t be interested in relationships and would only have a partner if they really found it worth it. Men have a higher sex drive so that probably drives their lower standard to some degree. Women, like all females, are more sensitive to who they partner with. They need to have a higher standard due to the higher risks they take a…

Men’s sexuality is a lot more visual than women - men are much more turned on by looks than women are so physical appearance is a much bigger deal when it comes to their sexual attraction to a person. Dating stats show how men go a lot for younger women while women go for men at about their own age and slightly older. Most men regardless of age would want to fuck pretty young women over someone at their own level. A woman being good looking is by far the most important quality for her dating suc…

Yes but in this threat people put the responsibility on the woman. Like men are a victim of not getting sex from women. It’s absurd as women have no obligation to fulfill men’s needs just by existing. Men are responsible for their own emotions and instincts and how they deal with them.

So it’s about ego boosts and not about their sex drive? I’m not sure I understand. An orgasm is an orgasm regardless of the method used to achieve it so sex shouldn’t matter when it comes to satisfying one’s sex drive. If it’s about gaining confidence there are many other ways to get that so why be obsessed with sex and complain about not getting it? Not to say that sex isn’t very effective but since it’s hard to get for many guys they should maybe try other ways to boost their self esteem.

You really shouldn’t force yourself to have sex when you don’t want. It can have lasting mental consequences. I were once in a relationship with a guy I was not sexually attracted to, and having sex with him made me feel like a prostitute and made me feel empty too. The consequences can be that when you find a guy you are very sexually attracted to the empty feeling may continue if you have gotten used to it with former partners.
