Waiting for the other side to show up ( both here and in person) to protest and derail this. Hoping that that never happens though.

So.... does this mean it's fucked? The future I mean, because it is female?

This will have more traction if posted in some women/feminist-centric subs rather than here. Posting it here is preaching to the choir. There we might see more arguments/justifications/mental gymnastics against this; and who knows, could also lead to some reasonable discussions. Cheers

women are raped by men at higher rates than men are raped by women Which is why it sounds like a convenient feminist talking-point, with no verifiable evidence when you (who seem to be a reasonable person) said this.

Thank you for elaborating. I now get why you said that. Cheers

I've seen a lot of posts online about folks complaining about the MGTOW community, and often times rightfully so (Bolding mine). I am curious to know what some examples are, of "oftentimes". I am not necessarily disputing your point, I need more information before I decide to agree or disagree. Cheers

This too shall pass, my man; please try and be strong. Yes, I realise it is easy for me to say; unfortunately I am not where you are. If I were, I would probably drop in and hang out with you :) Cheers and good luck :)

First of all, not asking for her permission to have a baby cannot be anything but rape. So, in your book, a woman having a baby without the man's permission - does that count as "rape" too? Cheers

current gender neutral rape laws to being specific to female victims. Huh????? Where ever did you get this impression that current laws are gender-neutral? As far as the law goes in India, men cannot be considered to be raped at all, only women can; and that too only by men. A woman cannot be considered to be raped by a woman, and a man cannot be considered to be raped at all. The feminists won long ago and are continuing to win. Cheers

No problem, like I said, I was not looking to be a mod. My question was, where are the rules for this sub? Cheers

I am not interested in being a mod, but I have a question: You ask about rules we disagree with and ask why rules 4 and 8 are important; but where are these rules? I do not seem to be able to find them. Cheers

Notice how "women" ends with "men"? Do you really want us to end you? Because we can - all we have to do is stop doing all "man" things, like work. Cheers

Ah, that explains it - you're talking about the Linux client. As I mentioned in my initial post, I am on a Mac. Sorry for the confusion; and I do appreciate your trying to help :) Cheers

Thank you re. invidious - I shall try that. I shall also try the Freetube settings that you suggested and get back to you shortly, thank you. Edit: When I control-Click (or even Right-çlick) on a video, I get two options - Copy and Copy Link, nothing else. No way to open in a new tab. When I uncheck the two options in Settings, the tabs are no longer in the sidebar, so there's nothing to check in the sidebar. Cheers

I tried Freetube on a Mac I do not like it for the following reasons: I am usually not a subscriber to any channel, but as an experiment I subscribed to three channels I regularly watch; and now the only videos I see in my home feed are videos from those three channels. I see no recommendations or random videos show up that I may posibly be interested in. I am in the habit of browsing through the home feed and opening multiple videos in tabs so that I may watch them later. That is not possible i…

Once again, thank you for a very considered and detailed response. You pay me an amount of respect I do not deserve in this particular instance. At the outset let me mention that I do not speak from personal experience. I happen to be one of the very few very lucky people who has never ever experienced any of the negative effects of feminism or social justice or anything at all; and I am of a certain advanced age where it would never affect me negatively even if I did. My opinions are merely fro…

It is precisely because I cannot show evidence that it is an "opinion" and not a "rebuttal". And, I (as anyone else) do have the right to have an opinion. No one has the right to say that I should not have an opinion. My opinion may be valid or not, but I do have every right to form an opinion, mistaken or otherwise. And finally, no, you are not being obnoxious in saying this, so, no worries :) You are merely expressing your opinion on this and do have every right to have an opinion. I see that …

Thank you for responding in a civil fashion, much appreciated. By "left men hanging" I mean they created the perception that the problem existed only for women and therefore women needed the protection and shelters; and that since men were the perpetrators of said inequalities and oppression, they could never be negatively affected and therefore never needed shelters. As to why men do not "have create a solution...", we are trying, but are being actively opposed by legal and any other means, inc…

I am answering ONLY your question "C" and nothing else. Before feminism, neither women nor men even needed shelters. Women created the problem, created a solution for themselves, and left men hanging. That's why "women created the shelters" and only for themselves and not for men. Women do not give a shit about men unless they see a benefit men can provide to them. Cheers

I think you're probably missing the context of his message - he means to say that because he's on the panel he has insider knowledge and that knowledge is that because they have run out of male-quota, he is forced to hire women; and therefore he knows that a male will never get the job irrespective of qualification. I did not get the impression (from his this one post) that he is a "woke SJW" at all. Cheers

I actually agree with this. If you choose to marry a career woman, stop bitching about it and stop trying to make her into a housewife. If you wanted a housewife, marry one who is so. Don't marry a woman who professes to be a career woman and try to make her a housewife. A better suggestion for all men here - do not ever marry; and do not ever get into any kind of relationship with anyone who was not born with a penis. Cheers

Correct. If you read my comment you will notice I said "anywhere I have been or heard of".

It was always "hash" anywhere in the world I have been or heard of (hence the term HASH tag). It's only when I came to North America that I first heard of this being called "pound". Cheers

"Schooled" her? You? OK, you use this word, but I don't think it means what you think it means.

Yes. The ONLY common sense was from the ex-politician lady. Everyone else, including Pierce Brosnan was being completely non-committal, pl;aying both sides against the middle. Bloody cowards!

I'd just say "yeah" and continue with whatever I was doing before the question was asked. Option 2: Meh, nah, no option 2. My forst response stands. Edited to add: Or, just to mess with him, "yeah, wanna fuck?"
