You made the right choice. I had to also make a similar difficult choice and its been a year since. I can tell you that as much as i tried to fight it, circumstance made the choice for me. I am sure deep down you knew something was off and ultimately this is the correct path. Shake it off and keep moving forward. Whatever is next is going to be better that what you had.

Can confirm lesson is true. I paid for much including monthly stipend, cell phone bill and her families medical bills. I ended up in a bad situation thinking that she would stay and support me, instead she just left.

i think getting a pet will ease the pain too much, especially during a fresh breakup, sometimes i think the pain is necessary to remember that AWALT, now i embrace the pain and loneliness, it makes things alot clearer (again this is just my opinion, pet's are overall is not a bad idea)

We should have a sidebar recommendation that says. "Delete Facebook" imagine if all the guys in the world did this and it went viral. I would think that some beta guys would still keep their Facebook. (which is a given and that’s ok) however, I have even been told by beta guys friends "how did you do it" and "I respect guys that don’t have a Facebook" so the motivation is there. Additionally, I think there needs to be a paradigm shift so that others can follow. I think that there is a lot of goo…

oh man, im part vietnamese and i know you are probably going through some tough shit right now. i can already tell SEX was great and its hard for you to give it up. all i can say is that 38 is old, using sex as a weapon is horrible. shes tricked you hard with good sex and good food (100% same as my ex) she will trick you even harder in the future AND it will be harder for you to get out because most likely you got emotionally and financially invested in her. my last ex started off with 100 contacts, whom were girls, then she slowly started adding the guys. then the massive amount of likes started to pour in, thats probably when she started to show signs of hypergamy, so i guess AWALT not having a smartphone seems difficult during this generation and if you are saying not having a facebook doesnt mean much in the greater scheme of things,.......... i will have to keep thinking about this one.

thanks for posting this, i read alot of Buddhist books, specifically all the ones by Thich Nhat Hanh, and he taught exactly this. I read his entire collection about 10months ago, then broke up with my 5year gf about 5 months ago and got so deep into my own thoughts that i forgot about the idea of "only constant is change" and "our attachment to the things we wish to be permanent is what makes us suffer" this comment helped bring some clarity back....

its crazy, my last break up, which was about 8 months ago, sounds exactly like this. my ex is talking the exact same way using similar words attitudes and words as yours. me and you are saying the same exact things. here is the kicker, my ex is from asia, no formal education and was probably around 23 years old at the time (im 33).... how is it possible that they are abusive in the same way. also consider the fact they live in two totally different societies. i have no idea what age you are or w…

Can confirm, some girls dont even know they have bpd, last ex climb over balcony threatened throw herself. started accusing me of cheating because at her christmas party i was trying to help her host her guests. So many more examples like this too many to list. Her trigger was when she got drunk she went apeshit and would find anything to get mad at me for. Even at the time i was laughing because it was impossible for me to even like her friend but she wouldnt have it. Outside of these episodes …

I litterally effin did this with last ex and im lucky as hell i was able to break up with her. Litterally bought the benz, bought the home, bought the ring, and then i was ready to drop it all until we got until an argument and i told her to gtfo. Argument was over a facebook post she made about her tits and i said to delete it she said no and im just playing with friends. I said fuck that your advertising to other dudes and dropped her.

I speak from experience, my ex was exactly like this, she didn't know how to communicate, react, or respond in a real social setting. She came from a poor non-educated background, so I thought it was because of that, but the more I think about it the more I realize that its because all she knew was how to take selfies and get likes and respond to posts on instagram and facebook. Outside of that environment, she's lost. She basically just stares at her phone instead of dealing with the real world…

I think it’s because that's the only activity they are good at doing is getting validated on social media. It’s not hard, you take pictures, show leg, some boob and you get likes. They probably think someone will give them money, but wait that makes them a whore, so they have to find some way to circumvent that like food, or rent, or gifts, or gold. If you put them in an environment where they have to talk to a real person, the same females who are attention whores on IG and FB do not know how t…

I concur im 33 dated all sorts of women from all different classes educated, rich, poor... 19-29 and they all pretty much want the same thing. To manipulate you into doing things for them and to take your money. All of them have a backup dude they call up when they are having trouble with you, none of them are loyal and they will somehow pressure you into arguments and use it against you later (manipulation) its a pattern i see all the time, its quite unbelieveable. My advice is work out, save m…

Ive been to both developed countries and third world countries and it doesnt matter where you are but media does a great job at conditioning women so that they require the same thing regardless if from east or west or wealthy or poor. Its amazing some poor vollage girls have the same thinking as weathly girls raised in the west. AWALT

Happened to me exactly. Went full mgtow since. I have always thought i was quite alpha, but realized that during my relationship i probably had beta tendencies. Anyway i confirm that the one fact that has been a repetative pattern in relationships is that girls will always leave at your low point and it is a fact of life that all men will have their day of armageddon ( low point in life) if it hasnt happened already it will and that day is when you get the most significant level up that prepares…

seen something similar where the girl just THINKS shes capable of handling herself on her own, even you can give her everything you have for her to have a constructive life, she will still refuse and end up on her own self built destructive path. there is nothing you can do about it, the more you try to help the more they refuse. its similar to trying to help the homeless and they just refuse your help.

There is no goal. MGTOW is a mode that gets enabled after you overcome certain situations during the course of your life. Typically it takes 33 years to activate MGTOW. When MGTOW gets activated you gain a new set of skills that other men do not have and you use those skills to move forward.

I think marriage made sense 1000 years ago to form truces and create peace during times of war. But the idea of marriage today doesn’t make a lot of sense to me, although it’s nice to imagine a marriage working, the truth is that it requires a tremendous amount of work, plus, society doesn’t make it easier with the movies and media, particularly social media. It’s an uphill battle, especially for men. I think that social media gives constant praise to women just for taking pictures and abandons …

You are right about exposuring abusive relation for a long time should be really harmful. For the 6 months of my marriage, it was like this. But, we all experince undesirable threatment in our life. I thought in this way. I didn't let my wife yell me (I left home once she did this and told her I am leaving because I don't have to listen your shout. She didn't do again) This requires serious awareness about this situation. I read a lot of studies about marriage. They helped me about to understand…

You have a valid point in what you are saying. I also see that you are still married, hopefully you stay married and not have to get divorced. If the unfortunate happens, your views against women may change again. Women can be abusive and if you are happy with having to say NO and refusing to accept abusive treatment constantly, that is great for you. In my opinion, having to manage refusing abusive treatment regularly is also damaging to one’s mind and body. I have been in many relationships wi…
