| 2 | The more “alpha” I’ve become the quieter I am?I have been trying to find this balance forever, it’s still a struggle for me. How can I go about achieving this like you? Meditation? | /r/askTRP | 12/02/19 06:22 AM |
| 1 | Lost temper and angerI have similar issues as you. I started going to therapy a few months ago and realised that my constant need to make others feel good at the cost of my own well being stems from childhood and emotional neglect that I faced from my father due to him always being at work. I don’t blame him because the man was trying to provide for me. But it is in my control to become a better person and that’s what I’ve been doing. You should read “No More Mr Nice Guy” by Robert Glover. It really helped me and I … | /r/askTRP | 17/01/18 09:09 PM |
| 1 | Need advice.Personally bro, I think you dodged a bullet! Think about it this way, why would you want to be with a girl like this anyway? It seems like she was just trying to keep you on the hook. | /r/askTRP | 22/12/17 03:07 PM |
| 3 | There's always books and advice given on the strategy of war and acquisition. Bit are there any books or examples on how to govern once you have acquired? Anyone anyone can recommend? My professor in college told me that Arthashastra makes The Prince by Machiavelli seem like a children’s book. Kautilya was a genius and a central figure in the expansion of the Mauryan Empire in Ancient India. It basically talks about how to govern and what makes a good ruler. “Arth” in Sanskrit means Wealth and “Shashtra” roughly means “rules, manual or treatise”. So the book roughly translates to ‘Economic Manual’ | /r/askTRP | 19/12/17 01:05 PM |
