I have similar issues as you. I started going to therapy a few months ago and realised that my constant need to make others feel good at the cost of my own well being stems from childhood and emotional neglect that I faced from my father due to him always being at work. I don’t blame him because the man was trying to provide for me. But it is in my control to become a better person and that’s what I’ve been doing. You should read “No More Mr Nice Guy” by Robert Glover. It really helped me and I …

My professor in college told me that Arthashastra makes The Prince by Machiavelli seem like a children’s book. Kautilya was a genius and a central figure in the expansion of the Mauryan Empire in Ancient India. It basically talks about how to govern and what makes a good ruler. “Arth” in Sanskrit means Wealth and “Shashtra” roughly means “rules, manual or treatise”. So the book roughly translates to ‘Economic Manual’

Dude I am honestly in the exact same situation as you. I have ADHD and that causes me to fumble and talk too fast aswell. I have always struggled with low self esteem. I recently started going to therapy and I have also read Models - Mark Manson and No moremr nice guy by Robert Glover, both great books buy therapy is also helping alot. Not to mention I am also learning alot from TRP. Best of luck to you!
