They practically already do for many. Men are by far the majority of prison populations. Even when the same crime is looked at, women far less often face prison time. It's not zero pay, but 25cents an hour is pretty close. And you can't leave or you'll be shot. Now if it was just legit murderers and violent rapists, that'd be one thing. But there are men in prison for all sorts of non violent reasons that best be served in a better way.

Not sure any would be easy. But if society stops using them as punching bags and scapegoats would be a start. Paying attention and addressing the issues men face, like higher rates of suicide, falling behind in education, and so many more. There are far fewer safety nets or resources for men who fall on hard times. They are just told to "man up" and fix it. Maybe, but contrary to popular belief there are marriages that do last. We have a good relationship. Besides, she is the breadwinner. I am unemployed right now because of health issues. Either way, its not all doom and gloom out there for marriage.

This law makes me glad I am married and not a man dating and in college. I would be terrified to even kiss a women, let alone have sex at any of the places this law is active. Did any of the people even think before they proposed and signed off on this? Other than a signed consent to videotape the sexual encounter, along with constant asking if every different position or movement. Something tells me that women who scream " yes! Yes! Yes!" During sex are going to be highly sought after.

I joke with my wife that since I have Crohns disease and have had bowel obstructions and four surgeries because of that , I am a guy that can empathize with we having a baby :P we don't have kids yet tho. I have talk with women that have Crohns and they say the pain is way worse that child birth. And obstructions are even worse than that by far. It sure does quit pregnant women up when they try to play "you're a guy" card and don't know pain , etc etc. I am nice about it tho :P

I agree. I especially get irked when I see double standards. I have a few people on Facebook that are feminists and I try to politely be a voice for the other side. Crohn's Disease. Of which I have had my ups and downs over the years, of course. But, recently had my fourth surgery which was the cause of my unemployment. Hence my current situation.

Thank you for the suggestion and support. It is a weird thing to know that seeking help and opening up is the right thing to do, but at the same time doing that would burden people with my problems and that I am "just whining" and need to "man up". Which usually ends up with no action taken and I end up in a rut. My wife and family are hugely supportive, but I don't want to burden or worry them. That video hit close to home. As a 35 year old man who is unemployed due to an incurable illness I can understand how men can feel this way. I know from my point of view being unemployed makes you feel worthless. That you are not "being a man" by providing. Also, when it comes to sharing how you feel that you should "man up" and be tough. Even though I would think we know that this thinking is harmful it is ingrained in us.
