I think some on here thought they had that person when they married and learned a hard lesson.

Just a heads up, as a single and happy man myself, that sub forum frequently devolves into incredible amount of toxic man bashing. I stay away from it for my own health at this point

When we were dating she told me she could not get pregnant and told me she was allergic to condoms. And she would use birth control. All of which were not true. I'm dumb I guess. Then I basically found out that she said, during our separation, she hated me the day our baby was born. She just waited a decade to leave me. You do the math. I was an obvious sucker. At least I have a vasectomy now lol. And am proud to be a dad to a wonderful kid. Even though it was hell to get here

Thanks brother. This has been the only sub that helped me and feels positive for men. I occasionally visit other subs just to remind myself of the crazy. Gotta know what's out there and what you are dealing with

My ex used reddit to not only vent in those places, but she literally met someone out of state in the USA to monkey branch on one of those toxic forums. Basically they got along talking shit about me and his ex wife. Literally got engaged while we were separated. Now they are married and I'm coparenting. Basically feel like a Reddit thread came to life and wrecked me.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
