I understand what you might be trying to say, but I must disagree. The fact is this: sometimes men are victims. They can be victims to all sorts of crimes against them. The focus should be one getting the victims and helping them out of potentially letting themselves become forever victims. Nobody should see themselves as forever victims of domestic violence, rape, etc. I think this is where feminism also needs some work. It's not bad to say men can be victims. It's when you claim that all men a…

I don't understand what's being said on the blog? I mean, for all we know the blog is tying to get us to think about the real problem of pedophilia and child marriage by showing us a 1st world Caucasian couple. I'm not trying to defend this blog, I do think this is a terrible idea, but it's really hard to figure out a real side without content. Also, I think any kind of blog involving any kind of pedophilia is going to start up controversy period.

You can be considered "inappropriate" if caught being lesbian. And if you're transgendered you'll have nowhere to go. It's getting to the point where any Religious run organization will find a reason to turn you down, and sometimes you have to lie or they'll remove you. We seriously need to start building more shelters for us.

Wow, this is a good story. There really needs to be better networks for lbgt people in violent relationships. There needs to be better networks, period. But his story was incredibly inspiring, and I hope your friend gets better.

This can't be real. There's no way the school wouldn't catch wind of something like this and take action. You can't show 2nd graders this kind of content without some kind of backlash, especially from the parents.

Why would anyone wish a newborn child to be gay or non-gender conforming? Did everyone just forget the discrimination that lbgt people face everyday? A royal child would never get the privacy he/she would need to begin with, why wish for their lives to be filled with never ending, harassing questions about his/her sexuality? People are so stupid, it's like they purposely want to add drama where it doesn't belong.

If sexuality is a construct, and it is society that pressures men into staring at nude pictures of women, then how does she explain masculine lesbians and transmen (even before transition). Both tend to be more visual reliant, just like hetero men.

Kind of makes me wonder what my gay friends are gonna mark down in a few years. But what is strange is that the upper part of the paper (which is cut off), shows that Father is an option (in regards to whom the child is living with).

I understand what you're tying to say, but most feminists I talk to are rather trans supportive, at least with this particular wave. It's the more radical feminists, gender feminists, and TERFS that seem obsessed with the trans women invading their special spaces. I know for a fact that two of these women are criticized by the feminist (and obviously lbgt) community, and even call themselves radicals. Also, saying some feminists are transphobic doesn't really help the MRM movement, especially wh…

Even if the drugs were completely safe, the logic behind them is just terrible. I have a friend and sister that were raised to believe that they could not function properly without taking these drugs. My sister refused to go to school once because my mother forgot to refill her prescription, and she was afraid she would look and act like an idiot in front of her classes. They've both had panic attacks over refill problems, anxiety issues whenever the topic of trying to ween themselves off the pi…

Oh sweetie. If you don’t see the problem taking place here, you’re good as blind to everyone fighting for feminism. Take a seat and let the real women handle this one. And this is exactly why I dislike feminists. A woman says she doesn’t need feminism because she doesn’t feel oppressed and you tell her that she’s blind and not a real woman This is one of the many reasons I could never support feminism. How could they say they support women while defining what makes a real women and insulting the…

This plan works better if you are still sporting a full beard I really don't want to come off as "that guy" but these sort of jokes really don't help people who are trying to transition and are denied rights because they don't pass well enough.

It's consider safer to delay puberty for a child that is possibly trans than it is to not and risk having the child committing suicide. The child is not ill, but the dysphoria caused by his/her own body can cause serious trauma, and puberty is a time where the body becomes less androgynous. Lots of trans kids go through severe depression during this time. This is how trans issues are dealt with now. It's safer this way. At age eleven the kid cannot consent to hormone therapy (at least in the US)…

The article mentioned the boy was "developmentally behind," that he used sign language as a means of communication. Whether or not the child is able to communicate at the proper level know, it's clear that his mother's care a lot for him. They adopted the child despite his/her disability, learned how to communicate with him/her. It can be hard for boys to get adopted, especially ones with disabilities. Odds are kids like this one would have ended up staying in the system, waiting to be adopted f…

I think it was only a matter of time before gay/lesbian parents end up raising transgender children. Not because I think gay men want a son, or that lesbians want a daughter, but because they can raise kids, and statistically it was bound to happen. Transgenderism is rare, if this was a result of lesbians despising men, or some feminist conspiracy, then there would be a lot more cases of it happening. This is just a case of a child being transgender. These parents are not even pumping estrogen i…

Look into cab services in case you can't get a ride, that way you can just get a ride to the hotel and not have to worry. Are you sure you don't have any close friends you'd feel comfortable explaining your situation to? Also, have you looked at r/childfree? Just come up with an excuse, or none at all. If you don't want people to be involved in your business, then don't tell them anything, otherwise you can come up with a story that fits. "I went to spend a day at Sacramento" is good enough, I hear the place is really nice.

I know that building up my lats, delts, and obliques will help even it out, but I don't know man I just feel like "what's the point"... I don't know if this helps, but, having been born female and having an hour glass figure, working out can do a lot in changing your physique. Yes, it takes time to build up proper muscles, but the end result will be amazing as long as you keep up with it. As someone who grew up with "rage," I really feel that there is a way to go about writing your feelings without having a huge bias. Will there be a bias? Of Course. But I know better than to let my life into my own work, and if she is a good writer, than she'll do the same. Cannibalism has been done before in stories. The shaming isn't limited to just men. Bisexual and lesbian women have also been accused of having "yellow fever." Strange as it is, some of the reasons you mentioned in your post have been offered up (haven't heard about the money one being used, but I'm guessing the men make more money stereotype has to do with it).

So I went through your post history, and I'm going to take a guess and say you're pretty bitter about women, amongst other things. Those are your own issues to bear, but what you need to understand is that playing dirty is never the right approach. Some women suck. Some of them use shitty, sexists apps, but not all of them. But even they did, it's better to be the one who has honor than take a sexist, bitter approach. Hating women will not help you in the long run. There are ways to go about fig…

I love that women talk about gender equality, when none of them actually want gender equality. Women are a lot shallower, meaner and more critical than men are, so it's time that they got to taste their own medicine Plenty of female MRAs have mentioned their hatred of the Lulu app. Fighting sexism with more sexism isn't going to help.

Well, the thing is, I've always had some gender dysphoria, and she had always shown herself as being very open, kind, and caring, especially about sexuality. She works(?) with troubled teens. I figured, since she did identify as lesbian, to just bring up a conversation about trans people, and hopefully work my way up to talking to her about how I felt. So I made up a story. That isn't to say I haven't had issues, I was three months into what I thought was a great relationship until the girl mentioned her hatred of MRAs (as well as suspicions and disbelief in trans). Woodshop/ possibly auto shop classes. We didn't have them in my primary schools, but they were usually in middle and high schools. Most schools still have wood shop classes, auto shop was unheard of by the time I reached high school but I do remember my mom's high school had it when I was younger. Wood shop is making projects using wood and tools. You made bread cubbies, bird houses, stools, cars, and were graded on the final product. I don't know much about auto though...

Most FGM is a combination of type 1 and 2, which involves the removal of the clitoral hood (1), partial removal or attempted full removal of the clitoris(1b), and the removal of the labia (along with the clitoris makes 2). I think type 1 and 2 make up about 80% of FGM taking place today, but I'm not too sure about it. Most reasons for FGM are similar as those for MGM.

THIS IS WHAT THEY DO TO BOYS, not "BABIES"! should be the title of this post. In many places intersex babies (more so this) and female babies are also forced to undergo genital mutilation. The problem with this picture is that it doesn't portray the male side correctly. Prince Eric- Ariel didn't know he was a prince when she fell in love with him, however, his good looks probably did help win her over. Of course, I'm basing this on the fact that we know little to nothing about Eric in both Little Mermaid movies. He really is nothing more than badly written eye candy. Do you support jailing jailing men who have sex while under the influence? Because sperm is also affected by the use of alcohol and drugs. Also, most women don't even know they're pregnant for most of the first trimester (usually between 6-10 weeks). Assuming they're not going to abort, how exactly would you go about figuring out who did drink knowingly? Because without knowing you might as well just lock up any women who has sex for several weeks.

One really isn't worse than the other. Forcing a child to endure pain that will scare them forever is evil, simple as that. Tattooing a toddler is still mutilation, and is on par with genital mutilation being unnecessary and wrong.

Anyone can give anyone HIV, the reason I pointed out men was because in the gay community gifting can be a real problem, especially since there are young gay men who are willing to accept the gift, and older men who happily provide with it without consent. This is why aids is still such a problem in the gay community. Of course, anytime you sleep with someone, man or woman, you should always play it safe.

Gay sex can be dangerous as well. The fact that some men will "gift" HIV is reason alone for both boys and girls to be taught about safety and consent.

Some of the things that can raise the chance of SIDs make sense, like smoking or not breastfeeding, but for the most part it is very unclear why babies sometimes don't wake up. We're still trying to figure out why this is occurring, and for now the main reason why boys die more often than girls is genetic. Understand it's not that people don't care about babies boys dying at a higher rate than the girls, because trust me SIDS is a terrible thing that no parent wishes on their child, it just is. …

I don't think this is just a Men's Right's issue. I've seen a lot of hidden video's of orphans being mistreated or abused, sometimes within the states. Mother's Rooms are usually for women to nurse their children. Since some people aren't too keen about women doing this in public, these rooms have been established for mother's to feed their children privately and in peace. Humans are fairly odd among animals, in that females tend to only have one offspring at a time. There are other species that only produce one offspring at a time. Those that do usually do because more time and effort needs to be placed on their offspring For us all of our babies are technically born premature, if they came out as ready as other non-human offspring no woman could pass a child through. If we had the ability to produce multiple offspring chances are the rates wouldn't be too differ…

Most studies deal mainly with lesbians raising daughters. I'm not sure whether I'd call this gynocentric...I mean, two women can have babies without too much trouble, versus men who are limited to spending a lot of money for eggs, surrogates, or the wait for adoption. I'll probably get cast out into the desert by other women for this, but this kind of thing really irritates me. Not here to cast you into the desert. I do think the feminist campaign to get all the women into a dominant role is pretty stupid, if not constricting. Here's the issue that Super delicious is trying to explain: the child spent four years with his adoptive parents, since he was an infant. Chances are the boy doesn't know he's not related to his parents (at that age I doubt he'd even understand). I actually heard a woman state the other day that she stopped drinking soy milk because of "all the hormones they add." (Realizing that's also why she stopped drinking cow milk as well.) Although soy milk does contain a chemical that works like estrogen, you'd have to drink/ eat a lot of it if you want to get the negative effects from it. A LOT of it. As for why America is so fat? Probably because everything people eat here is loaded up with a fuckton of sugar and high fructose corn syrup. Most Americans consume a diet high in fats, which offer a high amount of calories, but do not fill up the stomach all that well (100 calories of broccoli will fill you Vs 100 calories of olive oil). How is her body ruined? Vaginas are muscular and can easily tighten right back up. By the looks of it she's in shape and takes care of herself, so there is no reason why her vagina would be permanently stretched out. She is the type of person that needs a man to stop in the middle of sex and tell her how bad she is cause he is the one that can't feel a thing. Yeah, but no doctor is going to remove a healthy pair of tonsils from a baby. "Back in the day" you could be recommended to have your tonsils removed after a bad infection, theses days doctors realize that tonsils are important and should not be removed unless absolutely necessary. If a doctor removed a pair of perfectly normal tonsils he'd could be sued for malpractice, because it would be unnecessary mutilation.

So a girl of age 16 could still be counted as an adult, but she would be allowed to go in the shelter nonetheless since she would be counted as a woman. As Super_delicious has already said, not all father figures are actual fathers. Good parents (even good single parents) will provide their children different role models. Lesbian and gay parents will usually have friends and family of the opposite sex, who will play a part in their sons and daughters lives, and these people will essentially become a "surrogate" father or mother figure. So girls will have their mother figure, and boys their father figure, so the argument against lesbian parents d…

Well of course we live and learn, but many changes can be simple, and if we can change ourselves for the better then why not? I think you'll find some changes aren't nearly as hard as we make them out to be.

It's a question worth asking. Sure, we all choose our paths, but if we're predisposed to something, be it cancer or abusive relationships, then perhaps we should take the time to make a few changes to ourselves. I know better than to stay in a relationship with an abusive person, but if I attract the wrong kind of people then I do need to change myself so that I don't have to worry about getting into bad relationships.

The fact that your mother was abusive means you'll likely find yourself another woman like her to recreate your childhood experience with. Serious question: do all children do this? Do we subconsciously look for partners that resemble our parents, or is just those victims to abuse. I ask because I really don't want to end up in that situation.

According to wikipedia, 59% of women ages 16-19 didn't care about romance or sex. I can guess with older generations (30+) it's lower, but considering the younger generation of women is nearly sixty percent I'm guessing there's more to the herbivore movement.

It shouldn't have been considered in the first place. I expect this on Lifetime, but in a real cinema? This movie is a [exploitation film] (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Exploitation_film#Rape_and_revenge_films), the whole point of it's existence is to ride on the fact that it is an extremely violent rape-revenge film. By no means will this movie be good, but don't expect that any studio will stop making them. They're easy to write, make, and produce.

It appears to be a "rape-revenge" film. These films tend to exploit the fantasy of punishing rapists and usually go all out in having the (usually female) protagonist kill and torture the rapists/abusers. Revenge flicks don't have to be limited to rape, but rape tends to be the more popular subject since it provides a better drive. Some examples of popular revenge flicks are "I Spit on Your Grave" and "Last House on the Left." Like most exploitation films, this will not be too popular in theater…

I wouldn't say that radical feminists suffer from androphobia if only because people who genuinely suffer from it can't be in the same room as a man without having a panic attack (though the phobia ranges person to person, the definition of androphobia is the irrational fear of men), while a radfem can talk to men and interact with them without a problem. Another reason is that a sufferer of androphobia may have a reason behind their fear of men, where a radfem probably doesn't. People with phob…

What's ironic is that circumcised penises are more likely to irritate the vagina, causing unwanted friction and discomfort, rather than more pleasure. They would need to lubricate every so often to keep things moist...What's more is that most women get orgasms from clitoral stimulation. The fact that breasts have little or anything to do with sex is another reason why people care about them so much. Their main function is to feed infants. Our fetish into making them more than what they are gives them attention over other organs.

There are a lot of adaptations done throughout the movie making years, but for the most part the main character(s) have to take some responsibility for their actions. That's not at all what Disney was trying to teach us. Older movies aside, there was a lesson to the characters. For the Beast he needed to learn to be kind, and Aladdin had to figure out to be himself instead of lying and pretending to be something he was not. In both cases neither of the female characters cared about their social statuses, if anything the social status hindered the male characters (ex, Beast being selfish and cruel in the beginning of the film). Is it really worth it to stay alive for a little longer? This is a question a lot of people today really need to ask. Castration aside, we will live long lives as it is, but most of the time it will be spent resting and taking medication. Why is there such a race for us to become immortal when we clearly were not meant for it? Instead of stupid articles talking about castration, there should be more on spending time with the family or exploring the world.

The only time I was ever told this was by my dad, at age thirteen, most likely as a scare tactic to keep me out of the dating pool. My mother, on the other hand, went and told me that some people, men and women, can be real assholes, but never did she straight out and tell me that men specifically would break my heart since all they care about was sex. I think the biggest problem with abstinence is that people who take the class and are taught it take a "oh well" sort of attitude on sex. It's not that twenty women will fail, it's that more than half the teens taught about it are going to have sex knowing they'll probably get an std or something but not care. This compares well with the 98% success rate for hormone based contraception If taken correctly, but only so many people do.

i think it goes back to the notion that men can not have any fun, they must be purely utilitarian Yes and no. I'm a woman and I got a lot of shit for having tarantulas. It's easier to imagine something wrong when a man owns a "strange" pet, but people will judge no matter what.

cats are cruel as hell to mice, and for the most part they don't even eat them. My Maine-Coon, the gentle giant that he is, suffocated a mouse once...and then walked away. But there is a serious double standard when it comes to animals. Unless you own a dog, cat, or typical farm animals there is something wrong with you.

I think what surprised me most were the rodents. My friend's daughter has two rats, and they just love to cuddle with her. I was new to caring for snakes, and tried feeding him before he was hungry, and so he refused to eat it, and eventually got so used to the mouse's company that he let him live in the same cage. Oh...in the case you do get another snake, don't ever let the mouse just hang around in the cage. It's very dangerous to the snake's well being.

the author of this article is an idiot who can't appreciate living things unless they're cuddly. I can't agree more. I grew up with tarantulas, snakes, and lizards, and once my friends got to understand them better they usually didn't mind them. It's the people who don't even try to look past the...well,looks, that assume the worst about you cause you own less than appealing pets.

A lot of these are just stereotypes about pet owners in general. You got an iguana, you must think you're a badass. A snake; run away, he feeds the snake live mice. Poor micey! (BTW, frozen fed) Yeah, this article is BS. I've owned many a pet growing up (several on this list), and let me just say that rats are cuddly, rabbits can be vicious, and fish can sometimes be very interesting to watch. Animals have their own personality, and so do their owners.

Out of all the women who take birth control, what percentage would you estimate are taking birth control for non pregnancy related reasons? You'd be surprised. With girls getting their periods at younger ages, bad cramps, worse periods, and hormonal problems due to diet and/or body build, etc. there are a slew of women (and girls) who are taking the pill in order to keep these things under control. My whole thing is that guys shouldnt have to use condoms if their partner is on b/c. NO. Women take BC for varies reasons. So unless they are taking to prevent pregnancy, which would require them to take it the same time every day to ensure a 99% safety, wear a condom. If she is taking it for hormonal reasons, as a form of medication, steroids, etc. she may not have to be strict.

In short, yes. You can find a surrogate and pay for her pregnancy, however the means of doing so varies. My friend is paying his sister in law to be a surrogate for his and his husband's daughter. They did not use a fertilization program or purchase any donor eggs. All they did was pay for her to become really fertile, and pay to assure that an X sperm was more likely to reach the egg. Falling out of love is actually very common between both sexes. We're not monogomous and unless actions are taken to keep the spice going then these things happen.not just with women, but with men as well. And nobody wants to feel like they're in the wrong (even though they're not really guilty to begin with), so they try to find a reason to justify it.

Although I've never seen it, I've certainly heard of it. I still think he needs to go through the less popular film genres and possibly foreign films. A man killing women (who are usually seen as weaker than him) won't fly well here in the US.

What you want to do is look around the exploitation genre. Male murderers killing (mainly) females is a bit more popular there. You have subgenres within it that mainly focus around male leads going after females. Now, why is that exploitations films seem to have just about everything? What I've theorized is that unless the male psycho is doing above and beyond when killing his female characters it isn't considered as impressive. When a small woman tricks a big man and murders him in cold blood,…

I think it takes away something special. I have friends who have kids, and I remember them talking to their (at the time) kids to be, and they would bond with their kids. I feel like machines would remove this, and it upsets me. If men and infertile women could get pregnant, then the reproductive advantage that normal women have would be lowered to a level closer to everyone else. Sure, machines would do the same, but I'd rather humans be involved more in our reproduction, not less.

Artificial wombs? Honestly, unless they're going to be placed in a human (male/female/trans), then no. As annoying as the "Ima vegan, you should be too" attitude is, you should be careful with what you're suggesting, since most vegans actually are well off and know more about b12 than the average person. I'm actually surprised the people he's donating to didn't ask when he was last tested. This article is talking about donations in general. When receiving sperm from a donor, would it not be right to get sperm with a bit of background history? Female donors have to go through similar tests as men. However, unlike a man, a woman simply cannot hand a cup full of her eggs and let him use it. If she could there would be regulations, there is no doubt about it. As for what a woman does when she's pregnant, most people who look for donor sex cells are usually desperate for a child.

I'm a woman who has porn, and I think this is ridiculous. Instead of teaching people to fear their sexuality, we need them to be more open about it. This site does nothing more than cause fear and paranoia, and destroys the trust between partners.

Because we have very stupid rules about what is and isn't rape, what can be proven as deceit, and what makes for evidence (which varies way too much on a given situation), what is insanity, confusion, emotional distress blah blah blah...and sometimes no evidence is needed. *I will admit that proving that someone was not taking the pill can be much harder than proving someone wasn't wearing a condom. Because we women are like children; we can not take care of ourselves, and not be held responsible for many things. But taking the pill is only half of it. Even if your partner, be it male or female, is using protection, you should always attempt to keep yourself protected as well. And unless that person requires a special brand, you should always supply your own condoms.

I get what the site is trying to do. I do think there is nothing wrong with having a preference, so long as you understand that your child is special, not matter what parts they're born with, however; My six year old sawed the arms off two chairs in the living room. He says they look cooler now. So, does the parent explain why a six year old had a saw in the first place? Well, Othomson, I just quickly scanned through it, but it can be helpful to certain men. Obviously a healthy man wouldn't need it, but a man who cannot obtain an erection could sure use it. It's not women that cause homophobia, it's ignorance. She thought you were gay, and she called you gay. why? not because she's a women, but because she thinks homosexuality is wrong. I think bigger things, such as religion, is the problem here, as well as what society says about gays. Mind you, it wasn't women who executed the gays, nor was it women who wrote down the rules of who you can or can't sleep with.

People give a little money to one charity, and what’s the result? They have a bit less money left over to give to others, and, perhaps worse, they feel good about their good deed—good enough that they don’t have to feel guilty about not donating anywhere else. What the hell? Can't someone just be happy that someone is sending a few dollars towards a study of a cancer?

We're heading for a civilizational collapse There have been studies done on the Easter islands and what lead to the collapse of their civilization, and many believed we've been heading in the same direction for years. The social acceptance of single motherhood as a norm is harmful to civilization and bad for children. That's the interesting thing about acceptance. when something is no longer assumed to be bad, it will eventually stop being bad. It stops being a bad thing if you're raised by just your father or mother, and it becomes normal. Kids grow up without problems because there is no longer something to point out. Hypothetically, perhaps a hundred years from now, it will be the kids with two or more par…

I'm beginning to wonder if this is a problem with vagueness. I thought that besides lesbians and infertile people, women who couldn't find a husband are the main users of sperm banks. I don't completely agree with this article. It once again brings up this idea that only a "insert here" can bring up a happy family. In this case, father. And he never goes into the other side of donations, which would involve an egg and/or surrogate. In America singles can adopt at certain agencies. It's a longer process, even more when you're a single male. Donor eggs and sperm can be given to singles or couples. What actions would you want me to take? your choice to put morals/religion, lifestyle into the mix (I don't to over complicate the scenario unless you don't mind).

annoyed with ladies using my razor though they have their own Men's razors are great though. If I had the money, that would be all I bought for my shaving needs. But the coke is a joke. I don't even drink the stuff and I already knew women would be all that stuff. It's a diet soda, it's not good for you, but everybody has to drink it now because it's "controversial".

This doesn't look so much like feminism as much as it does a bunch of Americans talking about their views on Muslims. And considering that we usually get most of our sources from one sided television stations or internet websites, this is not surprising.

Nothing wrong with meats if they're organic free range In a sense, but listen tot his. Imagine your empty stomach. In order to feel full, you need to stretch it out just a bit to get those receptors to tell your brain that it's full. Eating 400-500 calories worth of veggies will fill it up, and leave you satisfied. Meat however, will not. You need more meat to make you feel full, which means more calories and overeating.

I think some of this may have something to do with evolution, the stress factor at least. if a specie is threatened, producing more females may be a way of insuring survival, since more females are needed than males to help populate (since it takes nine months for a new generation to exist). As for the hormones and mutations, it's quiet obvious that our chemicals are biting us in the back. We already have evidence that certain pesticides cause birth defects, that chemicals in our meat might make…

average male sperm count has been steadily dropping across the world over the past few decades. Environmental health greatly affects fertility. A change of the diet has been shown to help, though I can't imagine a lot of people following it, since it would require cutting out meats/processed food and replacing it with more greens and organic food. there is a cure, it's just not cost effective, so nobody talks about it, or when they do, they say just the opposite.

Getting raped by guerrillas, being used as hostages, having your children taking from you to become soldiers, is not being spared. I understand that you are against feminism, but these are third world, developing, corrupt countries here. I'm not saying feminism is always right, I'm not saying it's right at all, and I'm not saying it doesn't suck to be a guy in Africa either.

I can say the way men are treated in Africa are pretty bad. I never said I didn't support equal rights in these countries, I was saying that there are people trying to help women in these countries, since they are treated as second class citizens at best.
/r/MensRights16/10/11 03:04 AM

Women are not oppressed in other countries, no more than the men are. So please spare me. You're kidding, right? You have seen how women are treated in countries like Africa or in the Middle East? The very saying that women "have always been the privileged, protected sex" isn't even justified.
/r/MensRights16/10/11 02:48 AM

I can see why this might be a MR issue, but last I checked these women have a right to their bodies. They needed a road, and they couldn't get it done without a sex strike. It's a shame they had to go to such measures.
/r/MensRights16/10/11 02:11 AM

there is no "good" feminism There are women who consider themselves "feminists", with the intent to spread better treatment and eventual equality for women in lesser developed countries. give someone and inch and they'll go a mile. It has gone from a movement from equal rights to a point where the system can be manipulated so far against a person as to ruin their entire life with no escape, not even death. Not someone, something. There have been several movements throughout history that started out with a simple idea, and from there they became a very powerful, violent force.

Maybe it is just me then. I'm going to tell you a small story, and I'll let you take it any way you want. I'm a atheist. i get a lot of people telling me I'm wrong, for various reasons. I try to keep calm, and will usually try to engage them with facts and actual quotes from the bible, as a means of getting my point through. It's a lot of thought. In the end, picking a gender, race, religion, would be wrong, and would put us in the wrong. We can can help prevent it by just talking and informing, that's what matters.
/r/MensRights15/10/11 08:41 PM

I agree. It's hard to come up with a short phrase though. By all means though, is someone here could come up with something good, they ought to tell it to everyone. "Only we can prevent rape" sound ok?
/r/MensRights15/10/11 08:24 PM

It was more along the lines of "only you can prevent fire", where we can help lower the amounts, but can't really stop it. You can prevent rape by informing people about it, by talking to your friends who might be in an abusive relationship, and so on. Rape has been around for a very, very long time, and it will be a long time before it stops (if at all), so for now it's "prevent", rather than "stop".

I need you to think about what rape culture means. In no way do we consider the rape of a child to be normal, and I don't think the media portrays it as something to condone. A "rape culture", which was probably coined by a feminist, does not exist in our society. No matter what they say, we still punish those who rape. Women do tend to get lesser punishments, but but there are movements that are trying to remove this idea that women are less violent than men, which is an idea that was developed…

Instead of the sarcastic steps, why not just tell everyone what really needs to be done. "Only men can stop rape" and "Only women can stop rape" are both wrong, we need to get out "Only you can prevent rape", because then no gender is left untouched, and everyone can take a part in helping these tragedies from happening. I do agree with the blood test. Mind you, the worry over not giving a child its fathers name is nothing compared to the issues that arise from donating a egg or sperm, mainly the later. With adoptions from within and outside the states, people cheating, not setting limits on how many eggs a woman can give away, or how much sperm a man can donate,we have a huge issue with relatives accidentally falling in love with one another. well run families with a father at the head of the household are unlikely to produce children who will grow up to be rapists. I don't think this was well thought out. By this very logic, families run by lesbian parents are more likely to end up with children who will grow up to be rapists.

Not necessarily true. Depending on the country, animals have little to no rights compared to humans. Dogs also do not have a right to a humane death. Euthanasia will almost certainly be offered a the local vet's office, but because it's an expense, some shelters will just use gas chambers, which is much slower than a lethal injection. Not a good choice here. I suggest either staying quiet or agreeing with every little thing she says (assuming you stay). If you're a guy you may want to take the first few classes paying close attention to how she treats you, as well as the subjects at hands.
