I would never do this, not worth it with plenty of guys without kids out there.

I thought the gift was for him not her so it should be important to him not her.

Sounds like you got him a gift you wanted him to want or maybe even a gift for you. "kind of put this presentation together saying that it was symbolic of this next chapter of our lives. Now that our family is complete (we had our last baby last year) we can get back to putting time into wining and dining each other. " ^ this is what a woman wants, not a man. Who says women wine and dine men? each other? pfft.

Suck it up, he just didn't like your gift. You messed up and got him a gift he didn't want, HE SHOULD BE UPSET WITH YOU FOR YOU NOT KNOWING WHAT HE WANTS! And you come to us trying to get a pass to nag. This is gross.

We are currently looking for a property to do this! I can't wait. Our plan is to have it paid off ASAP so I can be a SAHM (no kids yet) and homeschool! What kind of goats do you have? How big is your property? :)

I wouldn't say anything. Your SO can handle himself and his friends and it is between him and the other roommates. Like you said, you are not their mom, they are adults and can work it out.

Yeah, it is hard to change yourself with your own will, but impossible to change anyone else with your will alone. People treat children according to their developmental stage, if you treat adults like this, with knowledge of who they are and their behavior you will be much happier. Getting mad at someone for not doing something they never do is only causing you stress.

What is she bringing to your relationship? I am not saying she is an evil person, but it is unlikely that she has other behaviors you want to emulate. Doesn't seem like someone I would want to have close to me.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
