Penis, beard, size, general body shape, body hair, etc. I don't super strongly identify with my gender, I just roll with what I was given. If I woke up tomorrow in a woman's body, I'd probably just roll with that too, but it might take a little getting used to.

Only a minority of Muslims mutilate their daughters, so female genital mutilation is much easier to oppose. Most sexual abuse perpetrated against men and boys isn't even recognized as sexual abuse. My foreskin was amputated shortly after I was born without any medical justification. That's genital mutilation, which is a grievous form of sexual abuse, and yet you'd be hard pressed to find someone who would recognize it as such.

Species definitely is. Age isn't a category - child/adult/elderly are better examples. What we consider to be living things is definitely constructed and based on context. Think of viruses and plants. Having eyesight is another good example. Think of the phrase "legally blind".

Literally, circumcision in your metaphor would be like cutting your nails. Nails grow back. Foreskins don't. I disagree. I think men should talk about their feelings more; the issue is the hypocrisy.
