Perhaps you're right. I'd go even further and say the harem is anything but soft these days. I think however that men are feeding this new norm by giving it attention even when they don't succeed. I personally have found dating to be MUCH easier when I'm not on some platform swiping left/right but instead put myself out there; by joining a small community with folks who share the same hobbies as I do, making friends, and showing the range in my personality fully, I end up attracting women who ha…

The problem is most men complaining they can't get dates are looking at that category of women and think they too should have a shot. The quicker those men realize they have a lane they can swim in for better success, the better they'll do. Oh, and success breeds success, so after building confidence in one lane, they'll realize the things they thought they needed to impress the 5% would get them lais at best, but would not get them true desire from those women. Believe me, you don't want to be …

This is great to hear. Ngl, when I first read single mother, I thought, "yeah this isn't gonna end well" (my bias shows...). I like that BigG1996 asked instead of judging (which I'm ashamed I've done unintentionally), and I LOVE your answer; it shows you've thought this through, and weren't simply swayed by her pretty face. It's a good perspective, I've learned a different view point today. Best of lucks to you both, I wish you a strong, lasting, and happy relationship!

That's my point.

Yes privileges. The fact that you can travel to another country like that and holla at foreign girls is a privilege. The girls you are talking to probably don't have the means to take the same trip you're taking back to your country to make themselves available to your competition. So yes, you are in a position if privilege whether you see it or not. You you already have more money than the guys they deal with at home and by default are already more attractive.

💯. It's funny when men go to places like that and don't realize they're walking in with the same privileges they complain about girls in their home countries carry.

Was going to say this. As a foreigner in most places you're usually more interesting, because you bring something of a new experience. And as an American in poorer countries, you're also perceived as $$. Go to England for example to see whether your experience will be similar. This is not to say that there are no differences between women in different locales, but it's no different than your good-looking dude getting attention with minimal effort simply because of his looks. A better comparison …

This is good advice, albeit also common sense. Give people what they want and they tend to like being around you. The trick is to do it out of your own desire, not in order to gain their approval. Most get frustrated with dating because they feel "if I do X, then I should get Y". It should be more like "I want to do X because I enjoy doing X. If Y comes along, that's sugar on top, but otherwise, X was still enjoyable". To illustrate: I don't take her to dinner because I think she's going to love…

Lol, yeah, I expected him to be 50-60. 40 is not young, but I wouldn't call that old either. Middle-aged is more appropriate.

Logically, I totally agree. Anxiety however is a real b****, it's not rational at times! I think building the "muscle memory" for such situations eventually helps reduce/eliminate the anxiety

Generally, I air on the side of caution when it comes to reading body language in a casual setting because I find it can hard to discern politeness from interest. That said, what you said does hold true for me; I will often react to clear, flirty, seemingly innocuous non-verbal communication. For instance, we're sitting in a coffee shop doing our own thing and happen to look each other's way. We exchange a quick glance and a smile, and look away. She immediately brushes her hair to the side as s…

Lots of good answers here already. Here are my two cents: specific ways my gf seduces me include: eyeing me with sexy eyes and a mischievous smirk sending sexy pics of herself (nothing raunchy necessarily, simple pics of her smiling, winking, etc with captions like "can't wait to see you tonight") sending me articles that may not be of interest to her, with captions like "I think you'll appreciate this", and having me discuss it with her. Basically showing she tries to understand me / knows my t…
