-1	Male privilege. It is simplistic. I try to avoid writing whole books with every comment made on Reddit. ;) The effects of endogenous hormones are indeed complicated, but few would argue that a confluence of chemical factors tends to produce behavior patterns in (esp. younger) males: aggression, risk-taking, dominance, et cetera. -2	Male privilege. At least some of this is owed to testosterone's impact on male behavior; especially homicide and accidents. I'm not trying to downplay the social factors, but I do think it's important to raise the consciousness that (intact) men are basically dosed with a potent chemical that measurably alters behavior.
