Women can give great advice but its accuracy depends on the woman in the dating scenario. We don't have special access to all women's minds and people in general are very bad at understanding what they want and their motivations. The thing with red pill crap is it keeps talking about most women in dating to men who have not been successful in dating. These guys specifically should listen to women that are exceptions to these ideas. To illustrate what I mean, they constantly talk about how women …

I'm going to ignore the second point because that's just weird nonsense. Incel means involuntary right? Does it mean you want it and aren't getting it? Are you this antagonistic and openly misogynistic in your real life? Because if so, short of paying for it you'll die a Virgin.

So the fact that women don't rely on men is the "problem"? I'd argue that marriage is on a hard decline because the option to stay single is often more compelling.

No. They really don't. It's uncomfortable to reject someone and I think people avoid hard things. That's an interesting point about not realizing they're doing it. I guess I wouldn't really consider it ghosting if we've never gone on a date so very likely could fall into that category if the messaging is stale and I lose interest. Can't imagine doing it to someone after a date though.

I'm confused, are you telling me what men and women are doing as a group and then trying to point out that one person doesn't speak for a whole group in a single breath?

The study you're referring to lists its own limitations and how you can't draw that conclusion. That's a horrible thing when it happens. The reality is that 33% of women absolutely aren't taking the time to get ready to potentially face an awkward or potentially dangerous situation for free shit - especially a meal.

Oh ya the one study with a million faults on a bunch of 18 year olds that y'all like to quote. Listen man if I need food badly enough that I'm putting myself in that situation that's charity. Read studies better. There is no world in which a third of women are doing this nonsense.

Thank you for responding. I'll give you an honest answer - if he has no shot because of the friend zone, he had no shot outside of it. The friend zone just means you don't actually want friendship and you're hovering in which case you're wasting both our time. A man who is platonic in his approach may also be platonic in his intention. I'm not going to assume every man secretly wants me so I will assume that my friends want to be my friends. That being said, friends date all the time.

To trick her? Lmao amazing. "I'm trying to sleep with you please tell me what works so I can tell you why it's a bad strategy but also why am I not getting laid? An intelligent blackpill. Is that incel? Please tell me your story. I'm not seeing nuance in men who can't understand nuance. Doesn't mean their take is worthless but it does mean their take is dangerous. I listen to them because it teaches me who to stay away from. When they say personality doesn't matter and they're not hearing women say otherwise and then circle jerking you have to appreciate it. I've never slept with a man that didn't make me laugh or make me think. I've turned down plenty o…

And that's nuance. It's a beautiful thing. I'll pick stats over anecdotes but I'm well versed in how to assess validity of and interpret statistical studies. Two red pill men on one comment section actually engaging me in intelligent conversation is unheard of. I don't know that I've ever gotten a meaningful response in this sub.

I've dated red pill men. They're not talking over me and telling me what I want. They valued what I brought to the table because I did bring plenty. So did they. Example of actual dumb shit in this sub - telling me what age men will stop wanting me or any of that noise. Telling me that men don't give a shit if I'm smart or successful. I'm down with statistics if you're capable of understanding limitations of statistics. If you lose the nuance, you're missing the point. Sure taller guys are better looking to most women. Some women don't care. You can't change your height, why not accept that some women don't care? Let's add that most people have no fucking clue what they actually want.

What does "another guy corrupting them when I wish I was" mean exactly? What is corrupting to you? Your type is a cute girl with a perfect Instagram? How on earth is that manipulation? Maybe they see eye to eye simply because religion is taken out of the equation. You're also naming feminist men who are not at all controversial and care about women. To say they agree with every person is missing the fact that they're public figures and the things they say are well curated. Do you miss the glaringly obvious in religious people as well? They all believe exactly the same thing - they have to by design.

This is what I mean when I say men here tell us what we want and don't listen to what we say. You're assuming I would feel bad for fucking a dude just because he's hot. Why would I feel bad about that if that were the case? I didn't even say that I wouldn't just that it hasn't been the main factor in what drew me in. Yeah I'm just talking about predisposition to violence and domestic abuse etc. A woman is killed by her partner at alarming rates, they're hardly all incels. Incel violence is definitely its own category but I'm not surprised to hear about the racism and hatred. Bigots of any kind tend to hold negative beliefs about multiple groups, it's just part of the fractured way they see the world.

I have to agree with women don't owe you shit but I'd equally agree that men don't owe us anything. The idea of women not owing men something is in direct relation to sex like when men pay for a dinner and feel entitled to sex for it. No one is owed anything but we want people who choose us and behave in certain ways. Selectivity is not entitlement and wanting things for reasons other than "deserving it" isn't a bad thing is it?

Yeah people can be a bit extreme but the manosphere can be pretty extreme to begin with. I've never been motivated by looks, money or status. I'm not naive enough to think they don't play some unconscious part but I have never had the conscious moment that linked attraction to any of them. Yet within the manosphere I'm constantly told what I like and what I want even if it doesn't align with my reality. If you personally identify with the group but you are not blaming women and you're not positioning sex with women as something you're entitled to then I apologize for grouping you in. My disgust is directed entirely at those who blame me. If your mindset isn't limited by that view, can I ask what you get from being part of that group? That aside, I don't accept the premise that they're not enough of a common problem because there are other more common ways to die. I'm also not thrilled about tho…

Fair enough and I don't doubt that there are many reasonable ones among them, but groups are often represented by their loudest members. You're right that I'm assuming an ideology but a group with shared "enemies" using common language and similar reasoning is sharing an ideology whether or not individual members are also part of other groups. Forgive me if I don't have a lot of patience for emerging threats to women's safety as if we didn't have enough to worry about. I'm sure there are just me…

And? Getting into a car is a risk I willingly take. This is not a bias in perception. It is increasing over time. That's a fact. I wish I knew what the solution was. As it stands, closely monitoring those communities is a great start and I'm glad that's happening but I wish I had better answers. As a women, I really don't need more reasons to be afraid but unfortunately here we are.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/03/22 07:24 PM
1

You're missing the point. These people cited being incels as the cause of their rage. Being an incel is directly correlated to them being a murderer. As women are the source of the rage, they are necessarily in danger but their anger also spreads to men and society at large. Hence why them being a threat is not limited to women. Murderers are constrained by opportunity and time. I'm sure we would see a lot more deaths outside of those factors when maybe they could afford to be more selective.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/03/22 07:21 PM
1

Once someone is on a killing spree and starts shooting, they're not selective. That ratio simply indicates that there were more men around. Another incel in Toronto rammed his van into a group of people. Hard to be specific in that case. The reason they're a threat is that their prevalence is increasing. There are more attacks and attempts as the ideology spread. To say it is not a threat to women and society at large is to say those who died didn't count. A group premised on the idea that they'…

Theres been at least 10 mass murders tied to incels with many more being stopped before they were carried out. Not every single person in the group is a threat, but there's no doubt their ideology is hateful and can easily result in escalation. The specific people are easy to look up but they are essentially the ones with the victimhood complex and they're punishing everyone they're blaming for their problems.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/03/22 07:00 PM

This is an identifiable trend that is increasing in frequency. While there are bad actors in every group, these murders were largely applauded in incel communities - also documented. I've seen interviews with perpetrators that reference incel ideology and point to other perpetrators in the group as their inspiration. Young men without sex are distinct from young men without sex that blame women for their problems. Incel communities are largely composed of the latter. It would be a lie to pretend…

What is delusionary about mass shooters or violent perpetrators being a threat to our existence? The irony of blaming a victimhood complex to defend incels is mind boggling.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/03/22 06:24 PM

Their motivation is not sex, it's rage. It's related to sex, but it's pure unbridled hate-fueled rage by that point and is expressed accordingly.

It's a group that openly hates women. That's a good place of bitterness to start if you're gonna end up as a mass shooter.

Then yes, definitely a distinction between the two. I don't even know if most blackpillers start out in TRP but in my eyes TRP focuses primarily on men being the best version of themselves and while the group is filled with misogynysts, most of the ideas themselves are not horrible. Same with FDS. Not every idea is great, and the group is filled with misandrists but most of the ideas are not bad. That being said, I question my sanity all the time so maybe you're onto something.

It depends where. Bar or parties, very often. Grocery store, not as often but still every once in a while. Freedom of speech as an enshrined right directly relates to the government. It's not just criticizing the government, but the right is that the government cannot take it away from you. It absolutely does not include talking to random people on the street. That is not a right it's just a thing people do.

I don't know if I'm your target audience because I don't agree with every single thing in FDS but I definitely agree with far more than I disagree with. I have a ton of respect and admiration for a lot of men. Do you want specifics to men in our lives or public figures? In my life I have an incredibly high opinion of my father, my brother, all my cousins (big family), many male colleagues, a few male friends and the majority of my exes.

It's interesting that you say that because I definitely have the same feeling like I could be good friends with someone who holds RP views but isn't obsessed with it. They shouldn't have to. Conscription is a horrible and antiquated practice that has no place in the world today. There is a net benefit to society that you seem to be missing. The country is defended by the men now and the women are insurance that the country will have a future. Women are historically the ones taking care of children, the future of the country is fucked if you take that away. Are the men fighting personally benefited? It depends. You're probably a younger guy, don't let the hateful shit you see here pollute your mind. Men and women are great. Men and women can be shitty. That's life. It's definitely an interesting model and worth looking into purely from a theoretical perspective. Anecdotally, my parents weren't arranged (something similar but they knew each other from the community when my dad proposed through the cultural channels) but they were alone for the first time after they were married. They barely spoke beforehand. 40 years later and they're still incredibly happy and very much in love. That definitely developed over time. My problem is more with arranged marriage…

Yeah I agree with your general premise, but my aim isn't to weaken marriage. Arranged marriages exist in cultures that don't afford women the rights and protections that having the ability to leave allows. Society putting the vows before safety and agency is a problem. There are plenty of great arranged marriages but there are also plenty of horrible ones. We're defining success differently. The opportunity to divorce and the consequences are nowhere near that of western society. Aside from having the financial independence, a divorce brings shame to a family and a single woman or a divorced woman of a certain age is seen as a problem. And let's not discount the importance of financial independence in making a decision to leave a marriage. As to your point of the possibility that actions can precede the feeling, of course it can and it often does but that's not evidenced by the "suc…
/r/PurplePillDebate17/02/22 08:17 PM

In most cultures that enforce arranged marriage, divorce is a nuclear option and has incredibly negative consequences on the chance they're even allowed to get one. Women tend to have less agency as a whole, they're less likely to be financially independent and domestic assault is rampant.
