On a public teacher's salary? She got the money from a grant. Perhaps it was written specifically to support girls in STEM. Then again, as a young father, the only man's right that I am really interested in is having family bathrooms, or at the very least a changing table in the men's room. GO HOME DEPOT AND IKEA! Paw Patrol only has 2 female pups, for instance, and the things that girls and boys are bought to wear and bring to preschool are still pretty in line with gender stereotypes. That said, my oldest son (3) totally loves backhoes, excavators, and frontloaders, so I guess there is something to what you posted. Then the girls will have an opportunity to figure out how to utilise the toys in an organic manner, while allowing both groups equal access.
