3	As a gay guy, whenever a MRA says we're disgusting/repulsive, it puts me off and makes me want to leave the general men's rights movement. I'm also gay, and I don't remember the behavior you are talking about in this group (maybe because it gets downvoted). However, I have seen people (outside this group) use the arguments of this group to talk down on women in general, and I have seen these same people also say homophobic shit. Don't confuse advocates of men's rights with homophobic and mysogeny. 3	Men are more likely to get in a violent confrontation, but whatever I guess. I think it is a bit reductionist to call it a great equalizer. One thing is that the gun is not always at hand in combat. Another thing is whether we should expect (or even just want) people to carry guns with them outside. Another thing is that even with a gun, having to use it is not an easy thing. Appearing threatening with your gun, having the guts to shoot at someone and knowing how to handle it alone are all very intimidating things, that I don’t think we should expect from people. The one point that does make sense though is that a man is more likely to be able to defend themselves in case they are attacked in any way. Edit: I do agree with you all. All I’m saying is that fear is different when you’re a smaller person. Not trying to negate all your arguments, I’m just adding another argument on the other side to keep the discussion holistic.
