Shit man. I've been wondering the same thing as OP and your response was just brilliant.

He's an absolute bastard. But a charismatic one. Look at the way he trounced old Cleggy in that EU debate. He brings forceful, opinionated debate into a political system of u-turns and bullshit platitudes. I hate the man. But he's a fucking brilliant politician.

I've never encountered BMR before - not entirely sure what it is. Do you mean reduce my daily calorie intake by 500?

British woman protest a lot more about TRP; say they'd never be taken it by it etc. But it's bullshit, they're just as susceptible as everyone else

I know right? I can hardly believe I actually said that. Ugh.

Hmm. I mean, it's a tough question, judging the whole country. I'd have to say that from the men I interact with most of the time they're mostly BP. The UK has a VERY repressive sexual culture, and the sexual frustration amongst men (at least those I meet) is high. So yeah, overall I'd say the blue pill is winning over here, sadly. There's a small dedicated RP community, but they're far and few between

Aye I reckon you're right. I'm going out with the Uni's rock music society tonight and they're a pretty chill bunch. I'm working on the working out. Got myself a proper routine and I'm eating a lot better now. Hopefully I'll see some changes after a while.

Yeah, I guess I was (stupidly) expecting some magic difference in my life. It's a process, but at least I've made a start.

That's Tyrion you're referring to? The dwarf? I meant his father, Tywin.

Tywin Lannister? Intelligent, powerful and although an enormous bastard, he's willing to do anything for his family. Oberyn Martell? Defends Tyrion (appears much later in the books than the show has reached) from (trying to be spoiler free here) false accusations at the cost of his own political security. And Daenerys eventually starts screwing up. But then again those are the books. In the show I guess Jon Snow? He embodies those virtues you mentioned. I get what you mean though, but then again…

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
