I'd have to say that from the men I interact with most of the time they're mostly BP. The UK has a VERY repressive sexual culture, and the sexual frustration amongst men (at least those I meet) is high. So yeah, overall I'd say the blue pill is winning over here, sadly. Oberyn Martell? Defends Tyrion (appears much later in the books than the show has reached) from (trying to be spoiler free here) false accusations at the cost of his own political security. And Daenerys eventually starts screwing up. But then again those are the books. In the show I guess Jon Snow? He embodies those virtues you mentioned.
