I think you mean that the ruling class gets to brutalize the world for centuries. Wars were still imposed on and fought by the poor. The poor were the ones who were slaves or serfs or working poor. They bore the brunt of diseases or disasters. Did men have it better the women, yes no question, that doesn't mean that the majority of them had it good.

Yes but that is not not what The Star reported originally. Had they just owned up and said we printed the wrong charges that would be fine though. This article, however, is just disgusting. The reporter assumes his guilt for the purpose of discussion and flat out calls him a pedophile in the last few paragraphs. The man is dead, there was no trial let's just leave it at that.

She obtained custody while in Japan and as the article points out divorce usually means one parent never sees the children again. As far as the Japanese courts are concerned he has no rights to the kids.
