It's time for me to unsubscribe to this sub. As much as it pains me, this sub has just become another /r/mensrants.

This is not true. Sounds like you are thinking of a venn diagram...

I really just think people are looking far too into it.

It really isn't though. These are antonyms that have nothing to do with the side they are on. I'm surprised no one on this sub has noticed this yet.

I think you're reading it wrong. They aren't associated. They are antonyms. When I read this sign, it isn't that the words on the same side are associated, rather the words on both sides of the sign are opposite. Ex: Girl (on white side), Boy (on black side). Don't try so hard to get offended. "Weak," which is on the white side is not describing "girl" or "Feminine."

Interesting. Maybe it's a more southern thing? I've lived in TX and LA and they're called Suckers here. When I was in high school we had a foreign exchange student from Australia that called them Lollies so I just assumed it was a term used outside the US since that sounded new to me.

Seriously? They are called suckers everywhere in the US. What part of the US are you from? Edit: Or am I being trolled?

I guess it depends on where you are. In the US, they are commonly called suckers. I'm not sure where OP is from, though. I imagine it might be weird if calling them lollies is more common.

You keep saying that, but in what world does being 16 automatically make you an idiot? That may be so in your case, but just because you're 16 doesn't mean you're an idiot. At 16, I fucking knew better. Not everyone is like you.

This is actually wrong. If he lives the life society wants him to conform to, or if he transitions and is not accepted by at least one outlet of his life, he would likely kill himself.

Thank you! A lot of the people in this thread are so busy hating the lesbian couple that they don't realize this is not a whim or "just a phase" for the child. He's been evaluated.

This isn't a men's rights issue OR a feminist issue. Watch this is you'd like a little more insight on the issue.

This video is riddled with fallacies. It isn't that I don't agree with the video, but I think just stating the facts without resorting to anecdotes would have made more impact.

Is the hand even used in the game, or is the hand just used in the ad photo? The trailer on Youtube doesn't have any hand in it. From what I've seen of the game, you create mario levels on the Wii U gamepad and the TV duplicates the screen. So onlookers can tell what's going on, the hand appears on the TV to show where the level creator is editing. You can check it out here

Except you don't, depending on your age.

What bothers me is that he was not defending himself. What he did was retaliation. It's alright to defend yourself, but he handled the situation wrong.

I agree. This video shouldn't be here as an example of "Equality." This was not self defense, but a retaliation. They were both in the wrong.

You're getting downvoted, but you are definitely right. It was retaliation and not self defense. They ought to both be charged for assault.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
