I think for that you need to figure out who you are, what are your likes and dislikes, what is your opinion on some commonly discussed topis, read and learn about things you like and what's going on in the world, etc. Unfortunately it's on us to be a whole person in order to be able to connect with others on some meaningful level

Ah, and I though the point is to find someone you like and share similarities with to build a relationship on, not trying to force a connection if there is none

I can understand how that would be difficult, especially with people you don't know, but that's a rather self-defeating mindset. If you tell yourself you have nothing to talk about you are already going into the situation failing yourself

Everybody has something to ttalk about. The thing is that you won't click with every single person, even if you try your hardest. Some people just don't click and that's okay

I'd say it would be rather difficult and maybe not as rewarding as building connection with someone who you have something in common with. But in the core, we are all human with experiences amd feelings, so asking them about their work/growing up/dreams etc. and genuinely listening and interacting is how you build connection in general.

Why would you be in a relationship with someone you have nothing in common with? Wouldn't that be kinda pointless?

I'm not sure you can buy a better personality. Maybe a therapy would be a good investment?

Yeah, I suppose in very general terms you are right

It's few women who agreed to be with these mem, versus many who say they wouldn't. It's about finding a person who aligns with your ideas. If you want to follow their teaching, you need to find a woman who agrees with it too, which will inevitably affect your dating pool

Because this idea of 'traditional masculinity' is tightly bound to toxic behaviors, often targeted at women or people seen as less than

If their target is straight men, and women disagree with those points, isn't it kind of a sing that maybe what they are saying is off the mark?

Ah, sorry about that :D

They are not arguing, quite the opposite, I think they were agreeing with you

They can be confident and attractive all they want, just don't expect me to wet my panties just because they say 'can I have your number'

Same, in 30 years I haven't really encountered that, but now I'm thinking maybe it's because I just surrounded myself with good men. In last few years, changing the industry, I have definitely encountered a wider arrange of male specimen and it's interesting, to say the least

I don't think that women see 'approaching' in same way as men do. Especially after reading some reddit stuff, men see it as an approaching games an numbers, while women usually try to assess the situation before asking someone for a number or to hang out. I don't know many women who would go and say 'hey, you cute can I have your number', regardless of how hot they think he is

Not in some male's minds, no. They think that if they want someone, the other person has to automatically fall for them. Luckily most men are not like that

Most red pilled men see women as a thing, a trophy, a win, not a human being or a partner, that's why women with self respect and confidence don't go for them

The internet allowed us to be aware that we don't have to settle for a mooch who can't wash his own panties and make a sandwich, so yes, the expectations are a bit higher

I guess you summed it up, women are not to have standards, because they don't qualify for such privilege
/r/PurplePillDebate05/07/22 11:26 AM

I always wonder what those 'high standards' are. Because those guys either want to date exceptionally beautiful and accomplished women and and get upset that only Chads get them, or they are upset that women have basic standards of how they want to be treated and those complaint-men can't even reach that and still complain that the standard is too high
/r/PurplePillDebate05/07/22 11:25 AM

I have been baffled by it for a while. Then they try to figure out how to force women to have lower standards so they can reach the lowest bar to get laid, lol

Best response here so far, but I doubt it will get through to the boys

I think it's the echo chamber they locked themselves in, they go around whinging about not getting females, then sharing cringe worthy 'strategies' they dreamed up in their fantasies, and then keep crying more because women run away from them as fast as they can.

It's kinda hard to make men listen to you if you're a woman, they'd rather do it their way and then off-handedly say, eh, you were right I guess.

That is so nicely worded and well put, thank you for that

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
