Ex wife coming back to town and wants to grab lunch. Good idea or bad?We have two kids but they will be staying at her place. She is going on a conference and will be driving up to see her friends which is where I live. I haven’t asked her why she wants to do lunch but I think keeping it at like a coffee is better than lunch. Divorce papers have not yet been filled but she wanted the divorce for the longest time. Since we first split up. I don’t see her wanting to work things out and she usually sticks to what she wants even if she is wrong. She has way too much p… | /r/Divorce_Men | 29/04/19 10:52 PM
Ex wife coming back to town and wants to grab lunch. Good idea or bad?I think coffee would be better. She is going to a conference in a near by city and will be driving to to see her friends, which is where I live. She said she wanted to maybe do lunch. I didn’t say yes or no but rather I’ll see what I have planned that day. I don’t think she has bad intentions, and if she did, what could she do? She did the worst to me already with her affair. | /r/Divorce_Men | 29/04/19 10:47 PM
Ex wife coming back to town and wants to grab lunch. Good idea or bad?Point taken. I can honestly say that it hurt like a bitch at first but as time has passed, I have to be the stronger man than what I once was before and learn to move on in a positive way. If not for me, at least for my kids. If they go through something like this, which I hope they never do, I can show them that I am proof that things will get better. How can I teach my kids something if I just give up or let my emotions get the best of me? Lunch is just lunch. Keep it easy and simple. | /r/Divorce_Men | 28/04/19 03:30 PM

Ex wife coming back to town and wants to grab lunch. Good idea or bad?I do feel like if I start to pull away from the cloth all of it will start to unravel. As in there are a few questions I would like to know but I don’t want to know at the same time. But I don’t think lunch would be the best place or time to do so. | /r/Divorce_Men | 26/04/19 09:26 PM
Ex wife coming back to town and wants to grab lunch. Good idea or bad?Good point. At the end of the day, she is still my kids mom. No matter what happened in the past between us. Yea I can keep it under control. I know she has for sure because she wants the divorce. Not me. At least in the beginning she did. | /r/Divorce_Men | 26/04/19 08:37 PM
Seeking advice.Thanks. What about dating apps? Honestly I’m not looking to be tied down but it’s hard to convey that message without sounding like a douchebag. I’m thinking of the bigger picture and I just want to move past my ex but also, not be dating any one specific. I haven’t been single for almost 10 years and I’m just getting back into it. A few people have told me it’s like riding a bike. | /r/Divorce_Men | 07/04/19 02:50 PM
