They didn't. They just weren't recorded. What about Phyllis Schafly and all her followers?

Taking care of your family is throwing your life away, but being slaughtered in war (likely by an almost entirely male opposing army) isn't?

I never before considered what you said about the larger pool only allowing the fittest to join. Thanks for that new perspective! I feel a bit different now

I don't believe ANYONE should be drafted, for perspective. Treating men like disposable meat shields has always been wrong, but additionally drafting women isn't the answer. It should be an equal freedom, instead of an equally-shared torment. Saying "we are treated in disgusting ways by the state, and you should be too!" is a poor solution compared to "nobody should be treated like this, let's fight to make sure nobody is drafted against their free will"

Solitary confinement?

No, but I have a feeling based Turkey has his back in some way. They give men lots of rights in relationships that don't exist in many countries.

Dude she literally kidnapped his child. IR debates aside, he is NOT the one who needs to adapt to her treachery.

Look into laws on international kidnapping. I believe there's a global convention on this-- it just depends on if both countries are signatory to whatever it is (but I know it's out there. I can't recall the name) it's worth looking into!!!

The reason I don't see sex as "mutual" still distinctly anti-feminist, but because I view it as something I have to consistently provide to him for the health of our relationship and his well-being. I have never once turned him down and almost certainly never will.

Doesn't everyone want someone for the utility, though? Men want women who can provide fertility, domestic labor, and sex. People in general want friends who can provide company, entertainment, and emotional support/labor. Is that necessarily a bad thing?

This is true! Women almost always worked. Throughout history, the privilege to stay home is a sign of high class and significant wealth and comfort.

Strange! Internalized misogyny seems to be their go-to ad hominem.

Ooh, I haven't gotten "femcel" yet! The ones I've collected so far are "internalized misogyny", "abused", and "obviously broken" 😂

My doctor actually has been insisting I start using dilators, but I'm personally not okay or comfortable with that. My man really likes getting to "break into" me!

I'm sorry, but are you speaking from experience? All forms of penetration, at any depth, are extremely painful. This includes all stretching and any touching of the cervix.

That just plain isn't true. Sex will always be painful for a smaller woman with a larger man. Just because I can stretch doesn't mean it won't cause me excruciating pain the whole time-- it always does. I have no idea what you're referring to with "fully aroused women", either. We aren't built for pleasurable intercourse the way men are.

Well, as many days as he wants! I just used the "just another Tuesday" expression to denote its normality in our relationship.

Steak and Blowjob Day is just a regular Tuesday for my relationship! Not sure why some men settle.

It's honestly ridiculous. I even have a male friend who tried to brag to me about the things he's buying his girlfriend for the holiday, which makes no sense, as I'm a woman, as if he's trying to one-up my boyfriend or something like that. There is NOTHING I expect from him on Valentine's day, or any other day. I am not obligated to his gifts, money, or time. When he does get me things, he is deeply rewarded as best I can-- typically with free-use sex and meals that took hours to cook. But then …

Why is being a housewife "settling"? For some, the freedom from wage slavery, to stay home and tend to your loved ones, is a major luxury. It's a sign not only of wealth and stability, but of a man who values you enough to save you from the drudgery of labor and the pain of being separated from your family, via his sacrifice.

Married or widowed! Women who made the right choice, and had it stolen away from them, should NOT be lumped in with single mothers.

Yikes!!! This is why I hate the whole culture of dads being encouraged to "show your daughter how a man 'should' treat them". Children need to learn how to earn and deserve things just like adults do. If they don't, they're in for a life of constantly feeling underwhelmed and neglected, meanwhile others are content and emotionally successful.

Are they forgetting that you need to have certain traits to earn certain outcomes? Good jobs won't let you get away with being habitually late, lazy, and inattentive. Good men won't let you get away with being sloppy, selfish, and unwilling to try and make his life with you enjoyable and fulfilling. There's nothing "oppressive" about men seeking the best possible partner. You have to do the best you can to get the best outcome, no matter what type of relationship it is. The best part? Becoming t…

Any man who feels a genuine need to use that sort of app should leave for his own safety, imo. It never even occurred to me to keep track of my "consent" like it's some sort of transaction spreadsheet... Creepy!

This has to be some sort of long-form satirical performance art, right? I don't want to believe anyone is that crazy or that stupid. I have never once made my man ask permission for the thing he has a right to.

It's already happening! There is a huge, albeit quiet, movement of young women denouncing modern feminist ideals and yearning for a traditional identity. We (late teens and twentysomethings) are witnessing the failures of the generation of women before us, and spiritually arming ourselves against making the same mistakes. I have a lot of hope for the future! There are always more and more young ladies waking up, looking around, and making better choices.

Good riddance! I always feel suspicious when people try to get into institutions by first displaying how poor and oppressed they are, rather than explaining why they deserve to be there due to their own merit. As someone who was actually, verifiably low-income and in an abusive/neglectful home, I have NEVER made that known to anybody in charge of admitting me into a program. I earned my way by displaying my capabilities. Such a shame that so many follow in this girl's suit.

I highly doubt it. Even proxy conflicts nowadays just use drones. There are a ton of high quality international relations papers on this subject, I'll dig them up if you like

I have to disagree, honestly. Women perform the majority of domestic labor (as it should be) and many households would suffer immensely from their loss. I personally don't think the majority of us belong in combat at all or could stand the same survival chance as a man. Men can handle those extreme sort of situations much better than we can. I know all my friends and I would be too weak and probably die immediately. If you draft women, you might as well just round up whatever percentage of the p…
