That's simply not true as far as the law is concerned. I meant more along the lines of some of our more visible fights should be regarding the rights of gay men. Right now it seems as though the most visible fights are the ones viewed as fringe, if our support of the gay male community becomes larger, we could potentially attract a wider base.

So, it's safe to say that in your view, trans people can/should be treated, through counseling, in order to have them identify with the gender they were born with. Did I get that correct? In my opinion, I would say that therapy is expensive, if not the same as surgery, more so, when considering the years involved. In my mind, claiming that there is no invisible pink unicorn in the corner of the room takes as much faith as claiming there is one. There is no proof either way. That's why I've personally considered pink unicornism as a religion. One can never proof a negative.

You have to look at Title IX in total - it is generally not interpreted to indicate that both sexes have absolute equal shits (e.g. do you see a lot of women's football teams?)

The legality of it depends - is it a public or private school? Is it offered by the school or an outside vendor? When is it being offered? Is it on school property? If they are merely advertising in the school it's probably legal. Source: I have 3/4 of a lawyer next to me.
