10	Why do men get so upset about circumcision? I am a circumcised male and if given the choice when I was born to be circumcised or not I would tell my parents to do it. Not all of us are cut the same. A big downside to circumcision at birth is that the doctors have no idea how much skin to cut. There's no way to know what size and shape the penis will grow to be. Some of us have such a "tight" cut that there is no moveable skin on the shaft and we need lube for masturbation. Some have more scarring, some had to have multiple surgeries because it wasn't done cleanly the first time. From the very first statement, instead of "yeah", you'll have people saying "what about the health benefits stated by the AAP?" "Uncircumcised dicks are nasty and full of cheese" "I cut my son and he's totally fine" "My brother got an infection and HAD to be circumcised" and on and on... I'm cut myself but I've never understood the outrage over circumcision because I thought it was a pretty normal safe procedure. I guess I'm one of the lucky ones that mine turned out okay... Thanks. I didn't have enough slack skin to comfortably fit the cone so I kind of had to force it. Before that I tried manual tugging, TLC Tugger, T-Taping. The first is to be combatted by awareness and education, and the second is just dismissal akin to "but the starving kids in Africa". I disagree that people cannot be convinced it is a problem. I really appreciate it that intact men speak up. It's such a sad state of affairs when the majority of an entire country has no idea what intact genitals are supposed to look like. 4	Arguments for and against circumcision. You'll have a hard time finding arguments for child circumcision that couldn't apply to adults. The only one I can think of is Jewish circumcision that's supposed to be done on the 7th day. A key argument against child circumcision is that the procedure is irreversible.
