If she didn't report you to HR for you admittedly touching your junk (however innocent it was) in front of her, she is probably not going to make stuff up to get you into trouble with HR. If she is going around telling people that you touch yourself, then perhaps you might want to talk to your boss and explain that there was a misunderstanding (since you are not comfortable confronting her). And perhaps try to be just a tiny bit more discreet when you feel the need to scratch/adjust yourself. To…

The original article I read on this said that her name is Nani, which is on the billboard, although her last name is not.

Interesting. I have only seen keypad bathrooms once and they were on both rooms for the reason I listed. I would actually be pretty pissed off if I had to punch in a code every time I had to use the bathroom.

It is possible that the picture of the women's room is from the first floor and the men's room is from a floor that is higher up?

I find your argument stupid based on the fact that she is supposed to buy his ring and he is supposed to buy her ring, so what difference does it really make? Would it make you feel better if they traded rings back and then did as they wished with them? I get that there may be come contention over the engagement ring, but from my POV, once the wedding actually happens, it belongs to the wife. Do you take back every other gift you've ever given an ex, or just the rings?

Should they be cast into the fires of Mordor instead?

Why is it tacky to sell rings from a failed relationship?

Did you notice that the kids had to start wearing helmets after a while? It does look like fun though.

Some people play games with a combination of friends and strangers, and others don't mind or actually enjoy talking to strangers. I know that guys get heckled and harassed too, but to say that it is the girl's fault for not hiding the fact that she was a girl is silly.
/r/MensRights04/02/11 03:19 AM

What about games with voice chat? Are they just not supposed to use that feature for fear of harassment?

Custody by default is a stupid idea that is begging for trouble regardless of the gender that is favored.

Why are you with her again?

I had some moderately invasive procedures done at a teaching hospital. After they were done, they repeated it because someone else wanted to see it. I was uncomfortable, but I am intelligent enough to realize two things. The first is that the procedure was necessary to diagnose me. The second is that everyone involved was either a doctor or training to be one and that refusing a test because it made me uncomfortable would help absolutely no one. I have never had a child, nor am I a medical exper…

I don't think it is ok for anyone to tamper with/stop using BC without discussing the issue with their partner. I just reversed the question really... would it be ok for a guy to tamper with the BC in order to get a woman pregnant against her wishes? No, of course not. Why would it ever be ok for a girl to do the same?

Well, as someone else pointed out, the question that they cited from the survey wasn't that great. The survey asked: "How willing are you to marry an average-looking person that you liked, if they had money?" Had they asked if you would marry someone you like, but are not attracted to, if they had money, I think the responses would have been more telling (and possibly not so high). I realize that they had to have asked more than just that one question, but since that is what the article decided …

I agree, although then it is just custody, not adoption. The child shouldn't be adopted from a single parent without the system attempting to give custody to the other parent first.

I once suspected a roommate was snooping on my laptop, so I set my webcam up to act as a security camera. I had it pointed at my laptop with my alarm clock clearly in view. I don't recall the software off the top of my head, but I can check when I get home, if I haven't already deleted it. Perhaps this, along with a keylogger will be the evidence he needs. If she has to google "how to take a screenshot" then he can probably set up the most obvious spying device and she would be none the wiser. O…

I explained to my SO very early on that I expect an honest answer when I ask if something looks good on me. I don't want to leave the house looking like I borrowed my little brother's shirt or got dressed in the dark. Being that I am not blind, I can generally judge these things for myself, but every once in a while I want a second opinion. When I was in high school this guy had a crush on me, and he felt that the best way to get me to like him back was to be a yes man. It drove me crazy. I just…

But it sounds better than saying "a man and a girl."
/r/MensRights05/08/10 08:05 PM

I can really see this story going either way. If you are freeballing with something like Umbros, there is a good chance you are going to flash someone. If there is a person who wants to flash people, the "oops" cover seems like a pretty good one. The erection could have been an unfortunate accident or a response to realizing that he knew people saw him, as was intended. I can't really judge it either way based on this story alone. Since this scenario seems almost impossible to prove either way, …

Someone buy this man a drink!
/r/MensRights23/07/10 05:55 PM

No, thus the word "partially" as opposed to "entirely." But now that you brought it up, from the same link... Note the significant difference in the rates between males and females – there are about 4 male deaths by suicide for each female death by suicide. But keep in mind that there are about 3 female attempts for every male attempt.
/r/MensRights07/07/10 10:32 PM

I suspect this is partially because men tend to use more absolute methods than females. For example, in 2004 and 2005, 56-57% of men who committed suicide did so via firearm, whereas it was 31-32% for women. On the other hand, 37-39% of women who committed suicide did so via poisoning in these years compared to about 12% of men. Source From the same link... Well don't get mad at me, I didn't tell all these people to have varying beliefs.

I actually just saw something the other day about prolife feminism, otherwise I wouldn't have responded at all. There are about as many different people view feminism as there are different flavors of Christianity. There will always people in a group who accuse others of not being dedicated to the cause for differing beliefs (MR not excluded). Even if there was a solid definition for feminism, people would still say "well I am an X flavor feminist" or something of that nature.

Well, she should have a reasonable expectation of privacy, provided that they were in fact completely separate accounts that just happened to belong to the same household. On the other hand, she is an idiot for cheating, getting caught, and blaming it on someone else.
/r/MensRights17/06/10 06:16 PM

Wow, the tone of that article would have been a 180 if it wasn't a sweet, innocent woman. Did you read both articles? Was the tone of the article about the male any more accusatory or inflamatory than the article about the woman? No? So Fantasysage's conclusion was wrong.
/r/MensRights17/06/10 02:51 PM

Apparently it wouldn't have been a different story if the teacher in question was a man.
/r/MensRights16/06/10 10:12 PM

I hope she wins, and I hope it helps garner more support for the falsely accused. I'm not sure why she is fighting to have the county establish protocols, when there are already protocols in place, but they were ignored. What good will new protocols do?
/r/MensRights16/06/10 04:20 PM

It doesn't terminate the financial responsibility AFAIK. So you could have no rights to the child, but still have to pay child support.

I also never said it was. I was speaking to my own character, I can't really speak to everyone else. We know there are liars and cheaters out there. However, as someone with personal knowledge that I have never done that, it would be very offensive if someone I trusted so deeply were to think I did. It is definitely his right to find out, but it is a very messy situation with no easy approach.
/r/MensRights04/06/10 06:47 PM

It is definitely your right to know what you are getting into, it is just a messy situation which really doesn't have a good approach. If you really are that passionate about it, have you considered lobbying to make prenatal DNA part of the standard testing?
/r/MensRights04/06/10 06:17 PM

I understand that, but the impression I got is that you would do it with or without her blessing, you would just very much rather have her blessing. Basically, its going to happen, she knows it is going to happen, she can choose to accept it or not. If I got the wrong impression I apologize.
/r/MensRights04/06/10 06:02 PM

Yet, not everyone who says that cheats. Funny how that works.
/r/MensRights04/06/10 05:58 PM

That same argument can be applied to pre-nups. "I love you, I can't believe you'd even plan for divorce"... etc. Someone can make that argument, but it is still in a different ball park. One is a general "things change let us be prepared just in case" while the other is saying that you suspect your partner is a liar and a cheater who can't be trusted. How would you feel if a woman you had been seeing exclusively suddenly told you she wanted you to submit to regular STD tests? How likely would it…
/r/MensRights04/06/10 05:36 PM

To me, a pre-nup is like car insurance. You never know what is going to happen, so it is better to be safe than sorry. I think this is how he is viewing the paternity test. To his partner, it would probably be more akin to him only getting insurance (or upping his policy) when he let her start driving the car. It really does imply a lack of trust, and while many women have certainly warranted that, I just find it odd to be with someone that you can't trust on that level. But I may just be a litt…
