You are right for sure, but funny when I see this kind of comment on the women's sub it gets replied with "don’t come to this sub to “not all men”" kind of thing, and then deleted by the mods.

You are saying this side is worse in this same thread lol: "I think the mainstream focus is on spaces like this rather than feminist spaces because this breeds a level of extremism that has caused multiple mass shootings and killings of women related to “manosphere” and incel ideology"
/r/MensRights20/10/25 07:39 PM

I like how you aren’t even saying I’m wrong. Neither of us are going to solve the problem
/r/MensRights19/10/25 04:34 PM

i would believe that places like 4chan are probably just as bad, but this sub is objectively a lot better than subs like twoxchromosomes.
/r/MensRights18/10/25 10:45 PM

You aren’t wrong but the women’s subs are 10 times worse, so do you understand why we think the same about feminist subs?
/r/MensRights18/10/25 06:29 PM

there's plenty of people who transition to women and feel happier after they are passing, is that also proof that women have better lives than men?
/r/MensRights15/10/25 02:38 PM

you have a fair take, obviously going to get downvoted on this forum though, just as we would on a women's sub reddit for saying the same thing. but even abortion is a tough issue. just because someone is against abortion isn't necessarily anti-women, its a really complicated issue and both sides have very good points. i'm pro abortion myself, but you can easily see it as killing a future human being, which is perfectly acceptable to be something to be against.

your missing the point, the double standard has nothing to do with the difficulty of the feat. plus i don't even think you are correct, women generally are the ones holding the keys to sex even at older ages since they are much more selective.
/r/MensRights13/08/25 02:37 PM
15

This is exactly the double standards I’m talking about. Pick any other group and there’s all kinds of excuses instead of responsibility
/r/MensRights16/04/25 10:49 PM

This is about stereotyping in general, you are dodging the topic, of course I know murder is worse. How about this example then since you want to argue about murder. Black people commit much higher rates of violent crime even when accounting for poverty levels. Do you also think black people need to be blamed for this and fix this problem themselves?
/r/MensRights16/04/25 08:47 PM
12

there are actually more women than men, and everybody accepts that women are a group that is and has been targeted with negative streotypes. Yes men commit more violence. You say men need to fix this problem, but this is really no different than saying women aren't as good at math and chess (look at what the stats say), are overemotional and shouldn't be allowed to vote, etc. I'm not personally saying any of these are true or not, my point is that it isn't socially acceptable to be saying these …
/r/MensRights16/04/25 08:15 PM
54

but that isn't an acceptable attitude toward any other group that is targeted with negative stereotypes, so it's a frustrating double standard
/r/MensRights16/04/25 06:03 PM

The craziest thing to me is these same folks on those sub-reddits are super upset at anti-women stereotypes, i don't undersand how they can't make the connection that they are doing the very thing the hate.

This subreddit is not nearly as bad as twox though. No do you have a victim complex? Why are you even replying to this 138 day response, touch some grass maybe
/r/MensRights22/07/24 04:34 AM
1

sure, and some of those have been banned. twoxchromosomes would be been banned on here too if you had the same content and simply switched the genders, but there is a double standard on reddit.
/r/MensRights19/07/24 08:21 PM
12

the part that is similar is that if men benefit from older women's wisdom then the same should apply for a man dating a younger women (which would mean the woman would have be 3-4 generations younger, if they are 2 generations ahead), although of course we know what society already thinks of older men dating younger women, so its a double standard.

subs like twoxchromosomes do more harm than good
/r/MensRights05/03/24 06:21 PM
24

i hope not, but seeing how bad subs like twoxchromosome are, its worrying that many people dislike and negatively generalize men like they do but are just better about hiding it / not saying it in real life.
/r/MensRights13/02/24 05:32 PM

best take, i disagree with some of the others
/r/MensRights16/01/24 07:11 AM

this is a good example where you can swap men with black people and suddenly it becomes super obvious how ridiculous this line of thought is and it would be flat out banned from every platform. I saw another similar post about some girls own father is giving her the "ick", with no clearly stated reason for her rationale, but "trust your instincts", people were supporting her! she doesn't realize how brainwashed she is.

people involving themselves in violent crime and drugs isn't victim blaming, get a grip bro

lame argument. men mostly have a lower life expectancy because of their own doing.

half of the twoxchromosomes sub is this same level of dumb
/r/MensRights07/10/23 04:57 PM

i agree, to me "man" means man gender identity, so I call people what they want to be called, but for a lot of other people, man still means adult male, it's literally the dictionary definition, so you can't get mad at them for using that definition and basing the word "man" off of your sex, and not your gender identity.

Yeah exactly, this navy woman doesn’t even hide her hate for men. Imagine a story about a racist saying they hate black people because a few black people did something bad to them, and your response is to feel sympathy for the racist’s racist views

I don’t get why they banned mgtow but leave the twoX sub up, that one is even worse
/r/MensRights26/06/23 12:23 AM

yeah thats what i meant, i'm sure there are some, but most are just so used to it that they ignore it. so many tv shows for example where if you replace the actions of a woman character with a man character, you would see how ridiculous/bad their behavior is. sure it's tv and embellishing somewhat but it happens in real life too
/r/MensRights11/06/23 03:30 AM

there was a thread on twox about a month ago where an OP was a woman on a jury and voted guilty, which hung the jury, on a rape case where she even admitted there was no evidence at all other than the word of the woman against the man, but the OP just knew the man did it, somehow. she was so proud of herself too, for standing up to rest of the jury who were trying to tell her her reasoning made no sense, and of course she mostly got support on that sub, disgusting.

i mean you could make all kinds of silly arguments then, what if you didn't drink water for the rest of your life, maybe you would live a much more fulfilling life in the last 7 days of your life until you died of dehydration than if you lived 50 more years, we will never know i guess by your logic, right? just to be clear to everyone, i'm not saying we should or should not have parents making decision about this or not, i'm just saying in my own personal opinion i am glad they did it for me. ob…

/r/MensRights16/05/23 07:55 PM

are you not capable of forming opinions on things you haven't done / experienced before? i'm not sure why you think you can form an opinion of what i want for my own body on this topic better than i can. your parents make all kinds of decisions for you at a young age that can't be changed.
/r/MensRights16/05/23 06:07 PM

i prefer it that way and like you said, have never had to think about it

browsing the sub twoxchromosomes, the prejudice displayed there is out of control
/r/MensRights12/05/23 04:24 PM

don't expect this to be a popular opinion on here but i think this the right decision. of course if genders were reversed, the younger woman would probably not defend the teacher, because society teaches them to feel like victims in this scenario, so definitely still not equal treatments of genders. i just can't see this kid as a victim, nothing bad happened to him. let's crack down on crimes that do real physical damage.
/r/MensRights24/03/23 07:05 PM

I skimmed that, those are only first marriage stats? You call them creepy though, that doesn't translate to what you are describing here as a statistical reason not to marry older men. If you think older men are less attractive that is very understandable, but I just don't really see the logic in thinking they are creepy, it just seems like a way for you to judge people. and by the way plenty of women are actually attracted to older men, even if you aren't.
/r/MensRights27/01/23 10:43 PM

Then why are they more likely to get divorced, when compared to dating people their own age? The statistics you sent don't show that number, unless I missed it, since they combine all ages (younger marrying younger), not comparing focusing on older people marrying older people. Did you know same sex couples get divorced at higher rates, too? Do you condone those relationships as well then? Let people do what they want to do and stop judging them.
/r/MensRights27/01/23 09:42 PM
1

I mean that doesn't surprise me, we're talking about a 20 year age gap? This is likely already targeting people who have been divorced before as well, which also has a higher rate of divorce a second time. Also, a divorce doesn't necessarily have to be bad, divorce doesn't mean you failed in life, or that no time during your marriage wasn't good. Do you also rule out marriage of any other biological traits that might mean a higher divorce rate? I wouldn't personally base who I love / marry off o…

I think you are right that it is a lot of younger women too, but it's a very agist line of thinking. People older than you aren't that much different, and it's very judgmental to think they are creepy just because they like someone younger. Perhaps when they are older they will realize this but maybe not, age is a super important characteristic to some people for reasons I cannot comprehend myself.
/r/MensRights27/01/23 07:56 PM

agree. if you physically slap someone, you shouldn't be surprised when they react with greater force, has nothing to do with gender, same thing would happen if it was 2 guys.

don't get me wrong, you have a point, but if she knowingly gave him a disease that's one thing, but there's deadly diseases that can be passed just by talking/breathing near someone, so.

by a factor of 10. why would the men ever agree to this? i can understand when at the same tournament / competition that prize money would be split, this is for instances like Wimbledon where the tournament for both men and women are at the same location and date. but i don't see why for something like the world cup where there is no relation between competitions, they are even different years!

I actually think that’s a decent example. Definitely a woman’s issue but if you look at gender breakdown it’s mostly even between which gender supports abortion more.

my impression is that while men do have more power in politics - there are more male politicians, women's perspectives and influences often have more influence than men's, even on those male politicians, so it is more of a matriarchal society in that sense, a society with rules and laws that favor women more than men.

this is how i feel, but i feel this way when a woman is a victim too. i don't see sexual assault as worse than non sexual assault, i know it's an unpopular opinion though.

I think you make a good point, but still, do we agree that in general men are more violent than women, and this is a bad thing in today's society? I guess I don't see the problem with just admitting that. The sexes aren't the same in a lot of ways. You just have to be really careful with when/how you stereotype the differences. If you go about thinking every man you see might be violent, you have a problem.
/r/MensRights12/08/22 04:53 PM

I haven't given it up myself but I can totally understand why someone would, you surrender the things you named with very little appreciation for it

84/76 = 1.10 so 10% more likely according to those statistics. I would have guessed it would be higher than that so I am wondering if those statistics are off, but I'm not sure it matters that much, the focus should be to prevent and also aid all victims of domestic violence.
