1	Male Thoughts I know. In the US I don't feel short at 183cm, but when I go back home to Sweden, I feel short. All these uni kids towering over me is... Interesting. :) Of course my son (born and raised in the US) hit 180cm at 13, so he may also tower over me by the time he's grown, which I actually kind of like. 0	Male Thoughts You're probably American? In some parts of the world, men are taller on average (than the rest of the world). Nordic countries and The Netherlands, particularly. I'm 6 feet tall and I'm quite short relative to pretty much every guy in Sweden. In The Netherlands I feel like I'm in the land of giants.
