She should serve two days for every day he served.

A buddy of mine had full custody of his kids and still had to pay the ex child support for the two weekends a month that she had the kids, go figure.

I've gotten my face ripped off before for offering or trying to help, I no longer offer unless we're related.

Actually, the courts and CPS are so fucking biased, he'll be lucky if he gets to walk away without paying child support even though the kid is not his. Time and time again, the courts ruled against the guy in this kind of case because by raising the kid for XX number of years, he accepted fatherhood and financial responsibility for the child and rather than go after the actual father (which they'd have to identify and track down), they just continue screwing the original "dad" because it's easie…

A guy doing that would probably have gotten his ass arrested, she got off easy.

Just wait until you take them to a pool without your wife, then you really get the looks...sigh.

Never seen a man fight for custody of the family pet, win, and then have it put to sleep, just saying...

Depends on what we're talking about. For US forces, there weren't many women that saw actual combat unless a position was over ran or a ship attacked (we did have 150,000 WAACs serving along side their male counterparts which shouldn't be discounted). For the Soviets, etc, they had quite a few women in actual combat (mostly as snipers): https://mashable.com/2016/07/30/soviet-women-snipers/#IAjoKxywAaqD

And if she gets pregnant because of the encounter, she'll get another huge break and then turn around and nail the guy for child support...and win.

Yes, I do agree with some lenency for the remorse side of things a bit (they do need a lighter sentence than someone who just got caught), they still deserve punishment though, we can't give them a total pass just because they changed their mind later.

If you falsly accuse someone of anything (rape, murder, etc.), When you're caught, you should receive the same sentence they did and be forced to serve a minimum of the amount of time they were incarcerated before you can be paroled. If we did it this way, you'd see this shit stop.

Well, they were special Ed students and had "special needs".

It already is. Hell, this day and age, you don't even have to be the actual father to get stuck paying child support for a kid that's not even yours.

"You can't be sexist against men." Yeah, that's right up there with "only whites can be racist'.

Actually, I'm all for this so long as it covers "anyone" (male or female), restraining orders do not work.

Looks like my old neighborhood in Odessa, had our house built there back in 1970, only thing behind us when the house was built was a baptist church and desert. Good job kid!

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
