no I didn't misinterpret, what next? So many women abused, beaten, raped and murdered by men, is that just a misinterpretation too? And all that asshole can do is feel sorry for himself? Why even reply if all you're going to post is that snivelling, pathetic wet fart of a post.

“Men are less violent toward women than ever, and there are institutions protecting women. All legal institutions implicitly agree women are more likely to be victims rather than perpetrators.” What a piece of shit you are op, are you even capable of understanding what you have written or its implication? I seriously doubt it. Men are less violent towards women that ever and women now have some protections which they must fight to maintain all the time. Men are still violent towards women though…

That is literally just semantics, your argument does not stand.

I don't agree, typically women handle emotions better, even if they express them in the moment, they process them better than men do. Men also engage more widely in self harming behaviours like addictions to alcohol, drugs, gambling, porn addiction, they are also more likely to be engaged in crime, be prison, die through misadventure, they neglect themselves and do not seek medical attention when required, these are all forms of serious self harm.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/10/22 11:30 AM

Confusion in emotions, Self harming. Funny I find that men tend to display these characteristics more frequently so I would put these down as masculine qualities.

It's not just dating apps it's technology in general. A lot of young men just sit home in front of a screen for a variety of reasons, gaming, porn, reddit, netflix, general surfing and social media. This affects women to some extent too meaning we are all more likely to just stay home. For example years ago I used to go out a couple of nights a week to take evening classes in things like art, astronomy, languages at the local university. Now these classes have either stopped or moved online. Far…

It's just that old trope, women are just supposed to absorb men's hatred and anger towards them and then kiss their emotional boo boos better in to the bargain, we're socialised to do this. The thing is on here even if you are nice, the men of ppd will just call you a whore and a liar, it actually invites more of their hatred towards you if they sense your niceness.

Yeah just the other day some psychopath posted an angry rant that women had no right to have the standards they did and that they were narcissists for thinking they could exclude men i.e. him. I replied saying how he had no right to say what anyone's standards or boundaries should be and some other guy jumped on saying how I shouldn't be mean to him, he was obviously hurting and I should be kind, like wtf? Be kind while he shits on women for having autonomy? It really boils my piss.

/r/PurplePillDebate19/10/22 03:21 PM

No of course not, women have a choice over termination because pregnancy, childbirth and childrearing is a far greater burden on women than on men. By comparison men only have to contribute a bit of seman and a few measly dollars. There is zero comparison and don't try crying that men don't get a choice, your choice ends when you put your dick in a womans pussy.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/10/22 03:16 PM
1

This is pathetic bullshit, if you put your dick in a woman then there is always a chance of pregnancy. Men know in advance of that risk, and they know about child support so no excuses. Wear an extra strong condom even if the woman is on thr pill and even then there is no risk free sex men know this and so baby trapping is impossible. The only way to protect yourself from unwanted pregnancy is to abstain. So take some responsibility for your actions and stop spinning that hamster wheel 🐹

Yeah this isn't a thing at all, I'm not 21 anymore but I still can't go to the supermarket or library without men trying to hit on me even though I have a wedding ring on. I'd prefer it if it stopped to be honest because I don't need the validation of men finding me attractive. Anyway this post is nothing more than a thinly veiled attempt to try and make older women feel bad, sorry it isn't working. Older women are not shaming younger women they are just older and wiser and have been their and know what your in for with these men, you'd do well to listen to them. Jealousy is nothing to do with it, its the older men they shame not the women.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/10/22 10:38 PM

Keep telling yourself that kiddo.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/10/22 08:55 PM

I think women would prefer to be alone than to breach some standards. If you did get a woman who met your current current low, desperate standards would you loss attraction to her once you'd slept with her for a while or do you think you'd stay attracted to her or fall in love with her?
/r/PurplePillDebate18/10/22 08:54 PM

Of course the US did it they've been telling us they were going to do it since February anyone who thinks otherwise is an idiot. Fuck Russia, Fuck Nato and Fuck the USA, warmongers the lot of them.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/10/22 08:51 PM

I don't want to be used by anyone.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/10/22 08:49 PM

Not my problem 🤷‍♀️
/r/PurplePillDebate18/10/22 08:42 PM

Guys who buy women like this don't care about exploitation, they don't even see women as human, just a hole and a domestic utility.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/10/22 08:40 PM

No it's totally pathetic and cowardly.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/10/22 08:39 PM

This, no violence at all, no disrespect. If you are getting access to my body you had better respect it and my wishes.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/10/22 08:31 PM
1

Well don't be a dick, be a decent human being and not a peice of shit by lying aboutvyour intentions, it's not a trap its just about respect if you can't do that or you don't think women deserve that then you don't deserve a womans time or body.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/10/22 08:28 PM
1

Yep, this says it all, women if they are prepared to be single can hold out for Brad Pitt if they like and there's not a damn thing you can do about it.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/10/22 05:33 PM
1

Nope, I've seen your post history and you are a peice of shit who doesn't see women as human. I'm not some naive, insecure woman who needs validation, I see right through you and you disgust me.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/10/22 01:23 PM
1

No in this context you are a peice of shit and you lose your humanity and decency. I also doubt you are showing any woman a "good time" you admit you are a narcissistic and openly compare yourself to Ted Bundy, you probably belong on a police register. So no you lose sicko.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/10/22 01:16 PM

Purile and fucking weak ass response, pathetic.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/10/22 01:09 PM

/r/PurplePillDebate18/10/22 01:01 PM

Naked men don't automatically turn me on even if I'm attracted to them. As a straight woman I do find men sexually attractive but it's not just a case of see it = sexual response.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/10/22 12:10 PM
1

You are only appealing to women with low self esteem, who are desperate for validation and they see your approach as validation. I wouldn't take this as a sign of attraction to you, because they are motivated by poor self image as opposed to genuine attraction to you.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/10/22 10:59 AM

No red pill doesn't work, at best it might attract damaged, fucked up women. If your using red pill to pick up women then you're probably a damaged, fucked up man and you'll deserve each other and the misery you cause each other. No sane, healthy, stable and intelligent woman if falling fir that shit in a bar or anywhere else.

Nice, yet another man who doesn't see women as human but rather as just a thing for men to use. I couldn't care less about losing access to the men who would use prostitutes because those men are pieces of shit no woman would want anyway. I do care about the exploitation of women though. "then she has to court him if she wants a relationship. Any sexual rejection and he can just say "well if you're not interested I'll get my dick wet at the brothel" Lmfao that you think this would work to make w…
/r/PurplePillDebate18/10/22 10:31 AM

This is because many men dehumanise women and see them as a utility to provide sex, comfort and domestic labour. When a woman becomes seriously ill men like this don't think of their wife they just think, oh no the wife bot is busted, time for a new one. If men saw their wives as people and loved them for who they were not what they did fir them this wouldn't happen.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/10/22 10:29 AM
1

No because the men here have failed with women for a variety of self inflicted reasons but rather than take responsibility and be accountable for those failures they blame women, hate on them and invent stories about women's motivations. Asking men on here about women will just get you a diatribe of hate.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/10/22 10:24 AM
1

So you think women should act as though they are in prison, with no personal freedom, no options just so they might consider a relationship with you, oh sorry a man they don't find attractive or likeable? Well this is yet another hideous, misogynistic and laughable train of thought from the men here. Do you even see what your saying OP? Either this is a shit posters or you need psychological help.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/10/22 07:35 PM

Well if you lie about that your a peice of shit.

Don't even think about having a kid until you can successfully handle the responsibility of a serious, committed relationship. If you can't handle that you can't handle kids. As others have said having children isn't some selfless act that shows what a great and mature person you are it's ultimately a selfish thing to do, YOU do to make YOUR life meaningful. It's often something people fall back on for meaning or as a way to change their lives when other things have failed.

So like this is one video and a few people you say you know 🤔, thats meaningless op. What about all the extra care and support many single women give their families and friends, that's a far more common situation in my experience, but of course women's contributions are rarely valued until they are withdrawn. However don't let reality interfere with your sexist hate fantasy about how women without a man are just a drag and a drain on male relatives just don't expect women to fall for your pathet…

Women do approach but it's more like they give the guy the go ahead. Autistic guys round here don't get those cues and are probably not being selected anyway.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/10/22 12:14 AM

There is an imbalance and it is exploitation. These men use, young, naive girls for sex, its vile, predatory behaviour.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/10/22 12:05 AM
1

Yeah there is no misunderstanding, all the bitching and whining on here is from men who only want highly attractive women. Men don't have to lower their standards they can want what they want but they should be happy to be alone if they can't get that and quit hating on women just because women who are qay, way out of there league reject or don't notice them.

"I have to make her laugh, witty banter with her, ask her out on a date, logistically plan the date, pay for the date, ask her out on a second date and so on . I have to break the touch barrier. That burden is on me. I have initiate the hugging, hand holding, kissing, making out and sex. If I fail to do so, in a limited window of time of usually a couple of dates, I 100 percent wake up to a text message saying "you're a great guy, but I'm just not feeling it is all." Lol you really know nothing, I'm from a religious traditional background and some of these women can't even open up enough to have sex, nevermind enjoy it. One girl I was at school with had to have her marriage anulled because her pussy wouldn't let her husbands cock in and another apparently repeated "hurry up, hurry up, hurry up" to her husband every time fucked her. More to the point though none of these trad virgins will be available to you when you're done partying and fucking the kind of g…

So some guy who has been caining it for 10 years, partying, travelling, fucking as many women as he can is then going to settle down at 30 with Mabel, she's 24 and never been kissed. Nobody has ever even asked her out maybe its because she's very religious, doesn't drink and spends her Saturday nights sitting in with her elderly mother watching TV, maybe it's because she has a turn in her eye and speaks with a lisp. She loves baking cookies (and eating them, you don't mind a "curvy" girl do you)…

Well there does actually seem to be a correlation between sexlessness and misogynistic views, there was a study about it recently.

No it's a real power imbalance when it's someone of 21 with someone of 32, that's a huge age gap when you take things like brain development in to account. It's the same regardless of gender, I know a woman who was 35 and dated a 21 year old boy, she was predatory.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/10/22 12:32 PM

I really don’t see how women in general are entitled, everyone is free to want what they want in relationships and partners assuming everyone is age appropriate. If a woman find a man who meets her standards and he wants her then great, if she doesn’t then she is single, that’s fine too. You are under no obligation to date anyone or do anything you don’t want to do, so what’s it to you if a woman you think is fat, ugly or expecting too much finds someone shes happy with and he’s happy with her, …

Pathetic op, you want to roast women but then expect them to just flutter their eyelashes at you, no. You remind me of a guy who told me I wasn’t required to be funny because I was pretty, he thought he was flirting with me, I thought he was an asshole.

It is creepy and morally repugnant to be a sugar daddy, a sugar daddy is just a john, a punter who exploits young women for sex. I agree that "sugar babies" are prostitutes, most prostitutes are vulnerable women trying to find the means to survive and horrible abusive men take advantage of those women and exploit them to get access to their bodies like they are buying a burger. Well tough shit because you cannot compare a woman feeling you up to a man doing it, you could easily get away from a woman if you wanted to so the only way for you to understand how it feels for women is for you to be molested by a man twice your size, twice as strong as you, who doesn't see you as a person but as an object to be used for his pleasure. That's the only compartment that is legitimate to make. Honestly op you are disgusting, your parents must be so disappointed in you for turning …

OP is obviously a fucked up creep who women will never find attractive, he needs to check himself into a facility or something.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/10/22 03:17 PM

Well then you shouldn't have any problem being raped by a man then, good luck with that I'm sure you'll find someone here happy to oblige.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/10/22 03:15 PM
1

No this is a discussion about attention from the opposite sex and yes stats do matter. If I get raped or murdered it will be by a man, if you get raped or murdered it will also be by a man but hey at least you'll have your precious attention and validation then so at least you'll die happy. Honestly just when I thought the men here could get any more stupid or disgusting.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/10/22 03:13 PM

The OP literally implied he'd be ok with being forcefully molested by a hideous woman and then by extention you and he think that women should be grateful for the unwanted harrasment and abuse the receive from men. What next, should we be grateful when we get raped and beaten because its a form of validation? Do you think being ignored is worse than rape? I've seen men online claim this that women rejecting them is "reverse rape" and more traumatic to them than actual rape is to women. All this …

Your being disingenuous here, just look at the stats on male violence towards women and vice versa, they are incomparable. Honestly the men here are truly repugnant to say this shit.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/10/22 03:02 PM
1

The thing is that women are no threat to you, a man is a threat to me. What if it were an obese, ugly, smelly woman who pressed her damp gusset against your leg? Would you like that? However its not about looks it's about harrasment and the physical threat men hold over women and how they use that to threaten us and get their jollies off us.

It's a pain in the ass to be constantly harrased as you go about your day minding your own business by men trying to get you to go out with them or talk to them. Sometimes it's even frightening. How would you enjoy a man who was twice your size pressing his erect penis into your back on the subway? Or what about if men followed you as you made your way home for a block and a half while making comments about what they would like to do to your ass? What if you got into the swimming pool and men ju…

Honestly you can do what you want why do you need our approval? It's misogynistic when it's used as a stick to beat women with, why else would it be posted about on here every 5 minutes? It's an attempt to shame women into compliance. It also depends on your age, how experienced you are etc. If you are a 17 year old virgin who wants to meet a nice girl at church and save yourselves for marriage then fine, if your a 30 year old guy who feels entitled to a young virgin that's misogynistic. Women want men who will be good partners, unfortunately many men are lazy and entitled and expect women to do all the work in relationships, no wonder so many women are passing on looking after a man baby. If men want relationships with women they will have to grow up.

Women are more discerning than men, they have to be because they are more vulnerable to male violence and abuse. Many men also make poor partners because patriarchal society raises them with extreme entitlement to women's bodies and labour, while regarding them ad less than human. Women want men who are looking for a partner, not a mammy they can ride, or a slave so they need to be careful to weed out men with backwards views and men who are likely to be a liability to them because of things lik…

OP so you've watched a couple of JBP videos on YouTube and now think your an expert on Jung eh? lol 😆 Red pill men are angry because they feel hard done by, they have a huge sense of entitlement and when they fail in life they cannot cope and seek anyone and everything to blame but themselves, especially women but it's also other men and society in general. Allow that I'd easier and more comfortable than taking responsibility for their own failures and inadequacy. The trouble with the red pill a…

Firstly it's not a surprise that op uses the scenario of a woman deciding she is worth because men here love to view women negatively (because it makes them feel better about being rejected no doubt). Also viewing dating as a "marketplace" is also a male conception and a misogynistic one at that. You view it as a marketplace because to you women are objects you seek to obtain and possess, a hole and a domestic comfort provider. Not all men hold this conception but many of the men here do and tha…

Men on here do bang on about virgins regardless of what they mean, there was literally a post the other day from a guy who said that having a woman who'd had sex with other men was like having a rag many other men had ejaculated on and that she would never be clean. Now I agree with other posters that men on here who want young inexperienced women are generally insecure, sexless men who are frightened of being compared to other men and frightened of being with women they can't control. This isn't a men's sub, so I'm perfectly entitled to be here and say what I think. So it's OK for OP to insult women? To call them narcissists? I'm sorry I have zero sympathy with the OP's infantile post and no sympathy with your assertion that I should just be kind to an asshole that makes angry posts and demands to women, you both need to grow up.

/r/PurplePillDebate12/10/22 08:12 PM

You are assuming that women will agree to sex with men randomly and that's not typically the case, most women are NOT promiscuous. Women might have a couple of boyfriends they sleep with prior to marriage. Your emphasis on purity for women is just another way you seek to oppress women and quite frankly fuck that.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/10/22 07:40 PM

Women can do what they like, ask for what they want and reject whoever they dawn well please for any reason they feel like. Who the hell cares if that makes you mad. Get a chemically castrated if it upsets you that much, nobody else cares.

Men typically see dating as a market place because they see women as objects they seek to obtain rather than as fully human individuals like themselves. They assume they hold a certain value and then feel entitled to the woman they believe they are owed as opposed to seeing women as people they should be building relationships with.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/10/22 04:35 PM

Older women doesn't necessarily dislike men as a whole they are just wise to the shitty behaviour and attitudes of men like you and want to protect younger naive women from those men. Those older women don't care if men like you don't want them because they they find men like you repellent, all women do.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/10/22 04:28 PM

Nope, this is the thing it isn't a privilege to be watched, stalked and victimised because men want to have sex with you even when you aren't interested, its a form of oppression. If you can't see or understand that and then make light of it then you are clueless about your own privilege and power.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/10/22 03:07 PM

OP I think you make a very good point, I think as you say the men who want these young virginal innocent submissive women are weak, insecure men who are absolutely terrified of not measuring up to other men and in most cases know that they don't. Most of them are abusive men who are incapable of being a good partner to anyone and any women with any sense should avoid them.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/10/22 02:02 PM

Well perhaps men need to stop being such pea brained slaves to their dick and not fuck women they have no interest in long term relationships and if they do insist on fucking and using women nothing more than a hole in which to stick their dick then they should wear a condom, an extra strong one, they they buy and put on themselves. I sort of agree that drugs and alcohol are helpful in a highly social, party lifestyle. If you want lots of superficial "friends" that your main utility is as a person to get pissed or high with then drugs and alcohol are the way to go. There may even be career benefits because being ok with drinking heavily and so on might help you fit in to certain (toxic) workplace cultures, if that's your thing. 80/20 stat comes from online dating. This roughly lines up with the ratio of women to men on online dating apps. There just aren't that many woman on apps so the 80/20 statistics bullshit. It is gross, especially if you happen to be said younger woman. Women tell men what they want all the time but men don't want to hear it, they prefer the fairy tales they tell each other about how women really want big strong providers that they can wait on hand and foot. A PhD might not make a woman more physically attractive but it does make her more marriageable to highly educated men. Sure they do but women are at far, far, far higher risk from men than the other way round and that is an absolute fact. If a woman gets murdered, raped or beaten it's usually a man. If a man gets raped, beaten or murdered it's also usually by a man.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/10/22 11:53 AM

I'm not going to waste my time trying to change your view because you don't want that you just want a stick with which to bash women. It's not the virgin status that is bad but the conditions that lead to the man still being that way. He probably has serious issues and is likely unpleasant to spend time with. The two are not unlinked, women in general don't want to fuck you because you are in general an unpleasant, unlikeable person.

But that’s not what your doing you are just pointing to one big overly simplistic idea and saying ”This is the reason” when it is far more complex than that. These simplistic solutions do more harm than good, they seem to provide straight forward answers but can prevent people from honestly dealing with the issue and it’s manifestation in their own lives.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/10/22 09:21 AM

I personally think it's more complex and idiosyncratic than that, dynamics will vary for the same person depending on which partner they are with. I appreciate what you're trying to say but I think trying to draw these big overarching conclusions is actually a big part of the problem as well.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/10/22 01:52 AM

/r/PurplePillDebate05/10/22 12:55 AM

It does matter the older person will be exploitation the younger. Brain development isn't complete until 25. 30 and 25 is OK, 30 and 20 isn't. But kero telling yourself your all good to exploit very young people to gey yourself off, I think it's pathetic.

Lots of people, especially men but women too don't have the interpersonal skills to establish and maintain a long term relationship. They don't know how to listen, how to deal with conflict, their expectations are unrealistic etc. I'm married over 20 years too but some people like many of the men on here will never have a partner because they themselves would make such a poor one. I don't know if it's autism or too much screen time in childhood but something has gone amiss.

The only men who care are possessive insecure assholes who are terrified she might have had bigger and better than them. You can’t force a person to have sex they don’t want that is rape even in marriage. Maybe for a man if he's hooking up with Jeffrey Dahmer, that's pretty high risk. Men are typically at risk from other men and in the workplace. Young men are also more reckless and more likely to put themselves in harms way. Women on the other hand at risk from men.

Ah the classic male refrain of if only women would lower their standards so that those standards wouldn't eliminate me. While your at it why not just request that every woman makes her body and domestic labour "free use" to any man that wants to utilise her? Or alternatively just accept women are and should be free to reject any man they want to for any spurious reason she cares to come up with.

Most women are not on dating apps so you undermine your whole argument by suggesting dating app data is indicative of what women in gender prefer. Your post is nothing but a list of personal grievances and insecurities. OP you're not wrong, I know it's more difficult these days due to costs / debt, but staying at home with your parents into your 20s and 30s stunts your growth and development as an adult. People get stuck in the old family dynamics that were established in childhood. Being close to your family is great but by 21 or 22 you should be out of the family home making your own life.

At best they are only attracting damaged / abused women who are prepared to put up with men who hate them because that’s familiar to them. There’s nothing to crow about here, it’s just damaged, defective people making each other more unhappy and more hateful. Again there isn't any evidence for a hypergamous (as you misconceptualise it) instinct. It's not a biological term its a sociological one. Mating strategies are affected and shaped by the cultural context in which they arise and so any attempt to boil down a behaviour within a set context to biology or genetic (fundamental as you put it) without any evidence is pure speculation. There is zero genetic or biological evidence for hypergamy, hypergamy also refers to the act of marrying up in both men and women, it’s not a single sex term or behaviour. Historically women were not able to possess much at all, and in many cases even work never mind inherit wealth or property so women had no choice but to marry a man with more because she had nothing. I agree hypergamy as misconceived by the red pill loons is just whatever any random guy wants it to be, any reason a woman rejects or leaves him for will be reduced to "hypergamy" in order to absolve him of any responsibility and neatly make it all about women's inherently evil nature as they see it. Yes this is true, that is why I don't think red pill ideas are useful for individuals seeking satisfying relationships because they are predicted on leveraging that abusive / low self esteem dynamic that is just perpetuating suffering all round.

If men don't want to risk pregnancy then they need to take responsibility and either abstain from sex or bring their own condoms and wear them. Women overwhelmingly bare the burden in pregnancy and childrearing especially when the man doesn't want to be involved, all he has to do is contribute a few dollars, its really nothing compared to the time, effort, money, blood sweat and tears a women has to put into motherhood. Of course the man should not get a say, it should always be the choice of th…

Just because you don't treat women that way doesn't other members also don't, a hold chunk of men do, they must given its prevalence. Any sexual harrasment you have suffered isn't right but for the most part men are bigger and stronger than women and so you still cannot understand how physically threatened women feel. Even when men are raped it is for the most part by other men so it's still a male problem. I never said the world is full of raping men beasts but all men have the capacity to rape…

I think it's more that by 50 there are less single people in general. I don't think women of 35 - 45 are particularly interested in dating 50 year old men. Women 45 - 55 are interested in in 50 year old men. Because the pool of available single people in that age range is smaller in general there is more chance of men at that age of getting a match in the context of a dating app. This is not the same as men peaking at 50.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/09/22 07:47 AM
1

Your wrong, men in their 50s are passed it, men are completely delusional about how men age and how women perceive them as they age. Men in their 50s are not attractive to young women. Women prefer men their own age and older women 40+ prefer somewhat younger men. Men peak in their early thirties after that they are in decline. I am well aware of what women appreciate in men, I dare say I understand what those things are better than you.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/09/22 07:38 AM
1

Firstly men do not peak at 50, that is laughable, that is dating site data probably just means that by the time you get to 50 the ratios on dating sites are more even and there for men of 50 get more matches from women their age. Secondly, just because a 45 year old thinks an 18 year old is attractive doesn't mean he'd be able to have a mutually satisfying relationship with her. Most older people find very young people to be clueless, boring and too much trouble. For a full relationship which is…

Women are fed up of being treated like a utility men feel entitled to. Women can meet their intimacy needs through robust connections with friends and family, they can get sex if they want it and they can support themselves. If men are unable to offer partnership then they literally have nothing to offer Women.

You are spectacularly missing the point of what is meant by "nice guy". The "nice guy" women moan about is in actual fact not a nice guy at all, he only claims to be while being an absolute prick to any woman who doesn't react to his advances as he thinks they should, these men are bullies. The studies you link don't suggest men are more successful with women when they beat women up. "women, for some reason, lack the self-reflexive awareness to even come close in acknowledging dating behavioral …

Lol no most men regardless of their circumstances are balding, fat and showing significant facial aging by 30 because they are too lazy to take care of themselves properly and are deluded enough to think women still think they are attractive and sexy when they are well past their sell by date. However men are excellent self deceivers telling them selves how young they look, they must all, like you have magic mirrors!

You sound completely deranged. Women haven't been duped by some conspiracy, women wanted out of the home, they wanted out of doing 24/7 childcare, they wanted out of having more than 2 kids, they wanted out of having to look after a lazy man child. Women wanted more, they wanted and education and the freedom to choose their own path, to have choices outside of marriage and kids. They might be prepared to marry and have children but only if the division of labour is equitable but men failed to do…

Perhaps what your really trying to say is that some women are raised to expect to be treated badly and so when they meet someone who does so that expectation is fulfilled and that feels satisfying on some psychological level. It's not love though, both these people are fucked up and will never have a healthy, happy relationship while indulging this dynamic. In healthy relationships people support and do things for each other as needed, picking up the slack if their partner is ill or has pressing…

Women do typically provide better emotional support to their friends than male friendship groups do. Nobody has to change if the choose not to and certainly not because of your opinion, which will be irrelevant to most people. If men are struggling then they needs to learn to be better friends to each other, to provide better emotional support to one another. However men seem to find it very difficult to do this because they prefer to place the burden of emotional support on women and struggle t…

You have no idea of what its like to be a woman, constantly watched and harrased. Being nice and letting down your guard to a man, even just a smile is seen like an invitation to sex by some men. You learn just to essentially wall yourself off to protect yourself from constant sexual advances. It's exhausting and limits a womans participation and freedom in life more than any man could ever understand. Traditionally women have felt immense pressure to be in a relationship and find a man to marry however in recent times that us changing. I think young men are driven by a strong sex drive to find women to have sex with inside or outside of a relationship. It's also likely that men find more emotional support inside a romantic relationship / marriage than is the case for women who tend to find more emotional support from friends. But the same even happens with older women, they message men around their age, these men are not top percent as you put it, they are just average middle aged men but the behaviour is the same. Even if it were the case it doesn't change my point that it is apps driving maladaptive behaviours and expectations in both men and women and not that the apps are exposing some terrible truth about women. Men find larger amount of women attractive that's why they message more women. If thats the case then why do so many women complain about pump and dump, if men were so keen on any woman who isn't fat or deformed then that wouldn't be such a feature and its not just all "chads" doing this behaviour is just normal guys. Prior to Daniel Craigs Bond the target audiance was male but when Craig became bond there was a move to make the franchise more female friendly as you say. So for example the inclusion of Monica Bellucci as a Bond girl in her 50's, recruiting Pheobe Waller-Bridge to the writing team, the maturing vision of Barbara Broccoli as producer, the influance of Craig himself and so on. The statistic you mention comes from a study OK Cupid did on their users. I think that dating apps are very unnatural set ups. I believe most apps have fewer women overall and initially the most attractive women then get 100's or more messages daily from men, these women get overwhelmed and don't reply or even read most of them. Frustrated by this men respond by emailing and ever increasing amount of women with cut and paste "hows you" messages, then all women are overwhelmed by 100's of message…

Well I think within the definition you give that could also be considered the "female gaze" as the male gaze as defined by pre-eminent film theorist Laura Mulvey the male gaze also encapsulated the way women look at themselves as in the quote from her text above. Your example isn’t really what the male gaze is, a young woman with an old dude is more like a trope. Male gaze is more about how the camera lingers on the female body. Here is a definition of sorts: The male gaze is - “How men look at women, how women look at themselves and finally, how women look at other women. Typical examples of the male gaze include medium close-up shots of women from over a man’s shoulder, shots that pan and fixate on a woman’s body, and scenes that frequently occur which…

The average women isn’t on onlyfans, engaging in eprostitution or getting pumped and dumped. Women want more from men than just sex and money isn’t a bargaining chip nor should it be. I have looked at these and my criticism stands and in many cases backs my position up (did you actually read and understand any of them?). Women sometimes practice a hypergamy (as do some men as its a term that applies to both sexes). Within the red pill community Rollo Tomassi is the main proponent of the hypergamous model of female motivation. People like Peterson have also used the concept of hypergamy as if it is fundamental to their nature, and he has erroneously suggested that women have in the past played a large role in sexual selection. In the last men typically controlled the resources including women. So Peterson like Tomassi take social structures and limits imposed on women as wrongly interperate those limits on …

I haven't changed the argument, red pill theory asserts that hypergamy (again as they incorrectly use the word) is an inherent motivation in women, even that its genetic. There is no evidence for that. However in pockets of society whe…

Cutting and pasting from one study doesn't prove anything. Where are the raw statistics to prove women marry up? Not so long ago women had so few rights in terms of education, employment and voting and property ownership that they had little choice but to marry someone with more of all those markers of status than them but they still married people from the same general class and background. Showing me evidence of millennia of women's oppression doesn't prove anything.

It seems pretty obvious that most red pilled men are "failures" in love, relationships and the mating game. They turn to red pill theories to account for these failures in a way that preserves the ego and shifts blame elsewhere; dating apps, society, the government and of course women. So called blue pilled people haven't suffered the same abject failures as most red pilled people and so do not need to resort to red pill ego sparing ideas.

Most educated, successful, middle class + people I know are usually with the person they will marry by late 20s early 30s. Their 20s are spent in education, building careers, traveling and saving money for house deposits. They marry about 30 - 35 and have kids thereafter. They have less kids but invest in them more heavily so they can be more successful. They have substantially lower divorce rates than the average. They aren't "wine aunts" or guys being sexless while getting their shit together,…

That's your opinion and you're entitled to it, but it's irrelevant here. OP framed his post to suggest his stated outcome is inevitable but it's not, there are other quite feasible options. Just because he doesn't like them doesn't negate them. So his thesis is a bust.

I’m saying increase the rate of tax progressively, tax high earners more, tax wealth and inheritance at a higher rate, tax corporations at a FAR higher rate. Pay for social security by taxing rich people much more. This is done in other countries far more civilised than the US to good effect.

Honestly the US state should just introduce more progressive taxes, tax personal wealth, inheritance and corporations at much higher rates. It won’t of course because your government is in service to those that hoard and accumulate wealth, the very same entities who evade and avoid paying tax, all that should be cracked down on. I’m not an American but from the outside it looks pretty messed up with its attitudes towards taxes, social security and the provision of health care. You seem fixated o…

Yeah it’s toxic, I feel like reading what so many of the men write here, their aggression and hate towards me as a women is harmful, it reactivates my trauma from growing up inside the patriarchy, all the hateful and shameful things I’ve absorbed about what being a woman means. This argument literally boils down to you saying welfare benefits should be removed because this would force women (especially mothers) to become dependent on men again. I did research for a documentary series here in the UK and listened to hours and hours of archive recordings of working class women who were married with children, living with their husbands and the problems they had. They spoke of how their husbands abused them and the children through beatings, cruelty and rape. The husbands w…

I think both sexes love romantically, obviously even when young some people may just want a boyfriend / girlfriend to fit in or to have sex but I think that initial first love is very romantic, idealistic and naive. Once you've been there once or twice you begin to realise that romance isn't everything and that relationships aren't some sort of static state of ecstasy. Life goes on, other things happen or take priority. You realise that other things are important like a person being trustworthy,…

From what I've read coeducational schools typically benefit boys and single sex schools benefit girls. Well I found one saying something different where doctors physically measured men's dicks and found the 3.5 inch to 5.8 inch. Evolutionary Psychology as presented by the red pill isn’t a particularly respected field of psychology, there a a lot of critiques of it that point to the fact that much of its theory being based on assumption as opposed to evidence which isn’t very scientific at all. Dating apps are as far as I can tell total trash. Women receive 100s of messages from men who just messages every woman looking for a bite so it's easy for the women to get jaded and defensive or for a decent reply to be lost in the inbox deluge. Yes, some may be primarily motivated out of fear due to personal experience or perhaps that of their mother to be financially independent and never have to rely on a man or anyone other than themselves that’s a person with trauma. Ok so my initial feeling is that you are talking about an explicit personal experience and then extrapolating that to “all women”. An alternative interpretation might be: In this case the woman might be seeking comfort as a way to establish or recover emotional connection / desire in the relationship, essentially projecting her feelings of disengagement onto her boyfriend. I’m an artist and I work to create, to communicate to others, to enrich the discourse in my field, to hopefully bring joy to others. I am very lucky to make an income from this which allows me to continue working as an artist and and to support my loved ones. I am also married and my husband is a high earner so I don’t work out of fear, if I had to my work could support me and him if he was unable to work. My income contributes to our standard of living and the help we can afford our families. I…

Honestly you're not making a lot of sense to me and I feel you are willfully failing to understand my responses. In general in this day and age most childfree couples both work, they could potentially live off one person's salary male or female depending on their lifestyle and income but mostly both would work full time.

Because she wasn't just a normal housewife, what do you class as normal anyway? She acted like a manager and secretary to him, a private chef when he needed special food, that's hours cooking for 7 people everyday, she managed his finances, investments, properties. I've worked a lot with footballers if you don't know footballers then they are like wee boys even when they are playing, they don't really grow up until they hit mid 30s and retire, some never do. Most rely heavily on their wives to b…

I think it takes a combined income to have a decent standard of living these days. Life is cheaper without kids but then as a non parent the woman can go on to make more income herself.

Yeah I think you have a point. A lot of guys complain about being invisible to women while only seeing the women they find sexy and desirable. Then they project whatever they want onto those women regardlessof who she really is, they might be angels to one man, a whore to another, lazy and carefree to some or ruthless manipulators grafting to secure the bag to others.

Most women know they cannot rely on marrying a man wealthy enough to allow them to sit back and relax and ignore their future financial security. Even if they do get married most men don't earn enough to single handedly keep a family afloat. Many mothers can barely afford to take maternity leave and even still their earning potential suffers because they have children. I think you are projecting a lot onto the women you see, some may just be young and not yet thinking seriously about the future,…

This isn't true at all, I had a very wealthy ex-footballer (uk) attempt to remove me from my marriage with promises of taking care of me forever etc. I turned him down flat and eventually had to leave my job working for him due to his repeated strong advances. I don't think I would find a man attractive based on his success but I guess if I found a man attractive in general and he was successful in some sphere of his life that would add to his attractiveness. I think it just shows other positive qualities like determination, intelligence, reliability, commitment and so on which hopefully translate to other parts of his life and make him a better partner.

I don't think that's true at all but perhaps for people who have been in and out of relationships for decades, been abused, cheated on, abandoned etc then perhaps they do become harder headed. I still don't think most are just out for themselves but I can see how they may be more wary and have strong requirements of a potential partner.

I think that it might be possible that as we get older and the reality if life sets in having to keep a roof over your head or food on the table, the understanding that money worries are a horrible life sapping thing to endure that someone male or female who just takes and doesn't contribute in any way can be problematic. The alpha widows thing is paranoid horseshit. I've seen both men and women hung up on people from their past. It's usually a sort of defensive mechanism where the memory of the "one that got away" or the person who rejected them comes to represent a potential idealised self and life, none of it based in reality and with very little to do with sex. It's usually based in underlying feelings of unworthiness and trauma. It effectively can block you from taking positive action in your life and apprec…

I'd say most average people men and women are just muddling along completely unaware of the red pill nonsense. Lots of women are very happy with their nice average joe guys and have no idea their supposed to be lusting after tatted up assholes and their partners aren't constantly paranoid about it. I really think the red pill stuff must just chime with certain guys due to having had bad / traumatic experiences in the past and the red pill philosophy creates for them an illusion of control the wa…

I'm not convinced that's totally true althoughit may have some truth. I think it more that a greater amount of our experiences and connections are mediated via the screen/ technology and not everyone is good on paper. As we get more reliant on digital means of connection it gets harder, more taboo irl and those who fail to shine on paper do worse.

I know some women will complain that her husband will just stick it in rather than do foreplay and provide clitoral stimulation to get her going prior to piv. Or that the man just jackhammer away at her with no sensuality. I don't think I've ever heard a woman complain that her husband isn't chocking her or throwing her about.

My husband isnt rough at all he's gentle and respectful but the sex is amazing. He just knows how to have sex with me and give me maximum pleasure. That's my real life female experience. I don't want to be choked or spat on or held upside down and hammered. I want to give and receive sensual pleasure. I do think alot of these ideas of getting dominated in bed come more from what people see in porn then try to emulate as opposed to what actually feels good.

So in my experience we all have a mix of masculine and feminine qualities or energy. I think we are attracted to or gravitate towards people who compliment us, and perhaps provide strength in our weak spots and vice versa. I think that's why a one size fits all model like red pill is not much use because we're all different and trying to shoe horn yourself into an artificial mode of presenting in relationships is potentially going to alienate you from your best matches. They see a false version …

I think attraction is to some extent idiosyncratic but by all means make the best of your appearance. Be aware that not all people like the same thing so some will like a very groomed appearance others will prefer a lower maintenance look. However attraction will not be sustained by healthy individuals if a person is unpleasant, boring, cruel etc. The people these unpleasant traits do not put off will be unhealthy individuals themselves, damaged in someway and acting out previous trauma. That ad…

Starting HRT early (prior to menopause) and using collagen induction methods can essentially offset the effects of menopause on appearance especially if people never smoked, drank, sunbathed from an early age. I think in the future womens appearance will hold far longer that we see currently, we're already seeing outliers. This ought to be good for everyone.

I'm over 35 and much happier now than when I was younger. I think its that your life is set up, there is less uncertainty, you know who you are, who your people are, you're less insecure, care less what people think. Lots of women (like myself) were never beautiful so never really had all that privilege but still got harrased and objectified which is miserable experience. Being older your less of a target and that's such a relief.

Its not a double standard its because the two situations are really incomparable. Motherhood reduces a womans earning capacity pretty much forever, her career and earning potential will never be the same as a mans or childfree women ever again because mothers will require more flexible working, part-time working and so on to be there for her child. Many children go into expensive childcare most days so the mother can work but nurseries won't keep a child who is ill or often who has even a minor …

No because women are the ones getting pregnant, their bodies it is there choice what they do. I do agree though that everyone should take more responsibility about having sex and realise its a reproductive act with consequences so if your going to so it at all you need to be aware of the risks and double down on the contraception. However it does have more impact on a woman's life and body so she should retain the option of abortion.

There is only one solution to this and it is not to have sex with someone you do not want to risk having a child with or bring and use your own condoms, do not expect someone else to prevent the pregnancy or rely on the pill its not 100%, abstain or use more than one birth control method. If you are prepared to have sex with a woman you should be prepared to help raise the child you might create together. I think there is some truth to this in the women I know who are single they get their needs for companionship met through family and having a wide circle or friends, they can financially support themselves and don't need a man to survive. Many of them would like a partner ideally but only with the right man. If he isn't available to them they prefer to be alone. I don't think many are actively seeking out casual sex to get their sexual needs met because as you say that is risky behaviour so they…

Well some people just have monogamy with one person their whole lives more or less so they never have multiple partners in either respect. I think the majority of people men and women do want monogamy, with a minority being happier with open or poly relationships. Even if poly style relationships were more normalised and accepted I still think many women would choose to stay single than enter into relationships that don't work for them.

I mean its hard to say in every case but I've heard of lots of so called lotharios who were not rated highly as lovers even if they had the ability to charm their way into bed with women. I think genuine attraction is more of a factor, I feel like saying women want experienced men is the same as saying women only want bad boys who are tatted up and ripped and pump and dump and that's just not true, not for all women. Perhaps you are right but I think the takeaway is that there is nothing set in stone about the way social media has shaped people, its like a distortion where we are encouraged to package ourselves and rate ourselves and in addition to that in real life interaction is reduced so its easy for that perspective to take over but its not fundamental to who we are as people. It could be reversed and probably one day when we catch up to ourselves we will have a better handle on how these new technologi…

I think that there are no objective 10's in either sex but that someone can be elevated to a 10 for a specific person because they have some idiosyncratic attraction to you that gives you extra bonus points, the same system goes down the scale so a 6 becomes an 8 in the eye of a specific beholder.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/06/22 05:43 PM

A 10 in looks would be a youngish Christopher Walken, a five would be Harry Styles (not attractive to me but he isn't ugly) and a 1 would be Elon Musk who isn't at all attractive to me nor is Bezos.

I can see what you are saying I think in that book, The Art of Seduction by Robert Greene he talks about having a type and sticking to it. You won't appeal to everyone but you will increase your appeal to those who do like you. A bit like how nobody is a 10 they only become a 10 in the eyes of a person who especially digs them for idiosyncratic reasons, same as an objective 6 can become an 8 in the eyes of someone who just digs them. I think the concept of adhering to a specific sub-culture look…

I think this is largely true, people tend to marry people similar to them so doctors marry other doctors, academics marry other academics and so on. Intellectual compatibility is important to most people as well as a shared cultural idea of what a relationship should be like. I once read a study about western men and their experiences seeking more submissive women from other parts of the world. Thats not actually what I said my post goes into much more detail. I think my point is that women over 45 do want sex but that often they cannot get the sort of sex within loving committed relationships that they need to fully enjoy it and therefore the opt out to some extent perhaps just meeting their own sexual needs. Some may not want it but thats true for some men as well. I think most would enjoy an active sex life but they prefer to opt out than have it on terms that don't meet their needs…

There are huge differences between paying someone for affection, sex and actually having those things from someone you love and are committed to. A paid employee will not nurse you or support you through sickness or a period of unemployment if they aren't getting paid.
