Yes, eat eat eat and make sure you stash water bottles everywhere! I got dizzy after our ceremony because I was in a long-sleeved lace dress on a hot day taking photos outside. Seriously... put water bottles in your purse, car, wherever you can think of. And yes to relying on family, friends, your wedding planning, or whoever is helping. I need to stop putting off tasks that have to get done before this July baby. Like changing my name on financial accounts... we've been married for nine months and that still isn't finished. Yikes. I also need to remember to eat at more regular times because low blood sugar has led to some unpleasant cranky episodes lately. Poor DH! He did nothing to deserve my hangry rage.

Met at 18 in college physics class, started dating at 19. Got married last summer at 23. Neverrr thought I'd marry that young as I never dated anyone before him, but life surprised me!

So thankful for my dad this week. We had some water leakage through the attic into our kitchen. My dad stopped by yesterday to show my husband how to get around in the attic and they removed the wet insulation and the damaged light fixture together. Love watching the husband do home repairs and that my dad is so generous with his time and energy!

I'm in my mid-20s and married. My best friend in college (besides my husband) was a guy. I used to hang out with the best friend alone all the time, but after I got married and he entered a serious relationship, we stick to catching up in the presence of our significant others :) We never discussed that change but it just seems to be some unspoken rule that it'd be weird for us to hang out alone now (unless maybe to grab a quick coffee in a public place)--but maybe we're just a bit old-fashioned…

My 12-week ultrasound is today! I'm so excited to see baby in more detail (he or she was a blob on the last US). I'm thankful that my wonderful husband is taking time off of work to accompany me to my appointment. And I'm thankful to be pregnant in general--I can't wait to have a baby! <3

It is hard! I'm glad you both found a system that works for you! I was actually diagnosed with hyperemesis gravidarum at an appointment this week and got prescribed anti-nausea meds/a standing order for IV fluid infusion if I get too dehydrated. But the meds seem to be working and I am more of a functional human being now anyhow :) I can eat real meals yay!!

Thank you so so much for the sports drink suggestion!! I finally got some Gatorade and have been drinking it all day--I feel a million times better. I'm definitely going to be using disposable plates for chaotic times in the future, too!

I'm pregnant! 5+1 today. Morning sickness is already killing me this week tho. Hubs is out of town and all I can do is lie around groaning. Our home is a mess--laundry all over the place, dirty dishes, haven't even unpacked from Thanksgiving travels--I need a shower, and I'm not sure how I'm going to make it through work this week. Any ideas for digging oneself out of a rut? How did you manage your everyday duties with morning sickness?

I have the OSG cookbook. It's fantastic! The "summer harvest tortilla soup" is excellent, one of the best soups I've ever made. Highly recommend! The enchiladas are really good too :)
