I'll give you that the term could be something else but toxic masculinity is the term that has caught on and is used to described the toxic culture that has been placed on men, but the thing is that the expectations placed upon men are often placed upon them by other men therefore it being attributed to the terminology is reasonable in my opinion, the term isn't a huge issue as it stands its not awful and describes society rather than putting men to blame imo.
