Mate, it's fairly established around here that being selfless or useful isn't necessarily part of being alpha. More like it's a means through which you can make being alpha beneficial to other people.

Repeated games with infinite horizon are where you can get away with such strategies, though if the discount factor is small enough, people WILL deviate back to the regular NE. The discount factor is basically how much you care as you go into the future, smaller discount factor means you care less. You could say that going TRP is a grim trigger strategy, in this perspective, and is as valid as the tit-for-tat strategy.

I find too much discussion going on, over what used to be a troll image in /fit/. Many laughs were had over stories of people who purposefully socially isolated themselves to "improve", only to realise the psychological implications of reduced contact. Don't do it. It's a convenient sounding excuse for not getting out of your comfort zone, it'll screw you over.

If i don't fuck this taken chick, someone else would so it might as well be me, and there's nothing wrong with that because sexual strategy is amoral That's more tragedy of the commons, and that does apply everywhere in life. If you can "solve" it, be sure to get published as it would be beneficial in many areas from exhaustion of resources to pollution.

The thing is, this is a sub about sexual strategy, not morality. We are here to learn how things work, and people who present themselves as "family wreckers" are also doing some things right. Disagreements in morality is fine, but saying "it is not redpill" is wrong. TRP has no morality, it is just a collection of observations on sexual strategy. What those people are noting down IS sexual strategy, it does work, and therefore it is part of what TRP should be inspecting and explaining. Trying to…
