Penny, I am not saying this sarcastically at all. You dont need your "equal" and you dont need someone to take care of you financially you need a companion who will care about you and carry on an interesting conversation and let you be the boss of the relationship. A guy whos okay a girl making 2-3x what he makes.

You know what i would knock some of the criteria out. There are men out there who make 30-40k a year in a steady job who cant afford their own place. Instead of looking at their circumstances look at his employment record. A guy who holds a job for 5 years or more is not afraid of commitment at least in theory.
