2	The fact that this case is so open-shut and people still support Kesha shows we have a long way to go That is true, and I hate when people talk about someone "pressing charges" (way too much television), but it should also be pointed out that, if a victim refuses to cooperate with an investigation, it's very difficult (though not impossible) to get a conviction. She's worked harder than four years. 4 years undergrad, 4 years med school, and then 4+ years neuro residency. None of which makes her immune to the consequences of a violent crime.
