Yeah exactly. I mean I would dump him over that alone if it were me. It sounds like she knows this too but she's trying to talk herself into moving just because her brother's there.

Yeah I'm just seriously done with men for now. Gonna spend more time with my girl friends (or guys that are already my friends). People in India say girls should get married by 25 but then don't give two shits if the marriage turns out to be abusive. There are literally so many problems here it would take me a whole day to make a list and I would still find something I haven't mentioned later. -_-

Oh yeah just today morning I was talking to a match on Messenger (I've clearly mentioned everywhere in my profile that I'm only on the app for making friends) and he was like "I feel like I would lose all my credibility as a straight nerdy guy if I didn't hit on you." And before this he was literally just sending memes to me and being flirty (I had explicitly told him too that I didn't like what he was saying to me). Me: ?!?!?! I blocked him after that.

In India a politician was recently sentenced to life in jail for raping a minor (2017 Unnao rape case) and I heard some men actually tried to search for it on PornHub (it was trending). I mean... Yikes. Not to mention that the politician being jailed isn't a common occurrence here to begin with, if you read about India's political scene right now, it'll give you shivers.

Lol who knows? I mean I have lists too but that's just for the books I've read and movies I've watched and side project ideas besides lab work, not for basic stuff like that (although if you're planning stuff it helps to write things down). And quite frankly if you need a list for basic things like eating and sleeping you're not ready to be in a relationship XD.

I dunno anything about that to be honest. He's not ethically poly by any stretch of the imagination.

I know, right?! I mean, we both came from similar backgrounds in terms of both our childhoods being really bad, but I didn't become an exploitative entitled bitch. I wondered for a long time what the difference between me and him was that made us react to similar situations so differently, but I don't think I have enough information so I won't comment on that. Still curious though. I'm not saying I'm the best person on earth or something (still working on my judgemental perfectionistic tendencie…

The document is this list he made for different projects he wanted to work on (philosophy/ math and stuff). He's 24, in the math department at UMD.

oh yeah I forgot to mention he used 'being poly' (he's not poly. One of my guy friends is ethically polyamorous and he's nothing like this shitbag) as an excuse to not commit to anyone, which is the icing on top. :)

Yeah but like I don't think we'd want to be with someone who just moves on to the next Tinder match, to be honest :/ what's the point in keeping people like that around? Also therapy is good for learning boundary setting and undoing gaslighting (by men or society etc). I got into therapy after dumping an abusive NVM, and it helped a lot. :)

My ex did something similar except he usually sexually assaults and emotionally abuses whoever he's involved with (6 women including me so far, 2 of whom he's actually dated). And also cheats on his girlfriend(s). I know what university campus he's at and the department he's working in but I really don't know how to stop him from abusing any other woman -- he's not a citizen of the country he's at now, while I am, so if I pressed charges in future when I move back, there's a chance something cou…

I installed OkCupid on my phone's second space for this exact reason. Out of the hundreds of guys I've swiped on, I only talk to one on a regular basis (we're friends). Dating (or even just having nice conversations) in a sexist country is tough. Not to mention the fact that all the messages I get are some variant of HI WYD HELLO BEUTIFL. Ugh.

Good to know I'm not the only one blocking these guys. I used to think something was wrong with me for not liking these sorts of things because they're so common. But then I just realized LVMs are common. So that felt rather redeeming.

Yeah, especially if these posts don't name anyone it's sort of weird when LVMs think a post is specifically about them XD It's actually sort of fun to watch, I'm not kidding.

Oh yeah that happened to me. Was in an emotionally and sexually abusive situationship. He couldn't handle it when I called him out on his despicable behaviour (fake apologized expecting me to give him free passes like I was before), but by that time we were in different countries so I just blocked him everywhere after sending my last rage message to him. I told all of our friends and they don't talk to him anymore because, you know, who wants to be friends with an abusive insecure incel sack of …

Ikr. Whenever I see a '3-6 dates' on the guy's profile I just swipe left. I don't want to put myself in that position. I've found literally just ONE guy out of the ~100 I've swiped on until today that actually respects women and isn't afraid to say he supports the feminist movement. I was in an emotionally (and sexually, but thankfully we never had sex so I still have flashbacks but they aren't really bad) abusive almost-relationship before I broke it off and blocked the ex to prevent him from g…
