It’s not such an insane thing to announce your gender in a place where your gender is rare. I.e, plenty of men who use nail polish say “straight guy here trying black nail polish” in r/nails for example. It’s nothing crazy, they don’t want upvotes, they don’t want to belittle the woman, it’s just an announcement. Additionally, they may just want to connect with other men who wear nail polish like you said.

I think it’s so weird that people disagree with what JLo is saying but all the comments calling all women useless are upvoted

I think so too

Honestly I can’t speak for all women but wanting taller men stems from my own insecurity. I’m quite tall for a girl (5’7) and in my head if I date a man who’s shorter than me he’ll be weirded out and think I’m masculine or something. It’s nothing to do with the attractiveness or unattractiveness of short men, it’s just my own personal issue & insecurity

Well ofc the woman is wrong for reasons I don’t need to explain. But this entire comment section is applauding the man as if there’s anything respectable about mocking woman’s bodies (the pussy comment and “beer bellies” and using generally degrading terms against them. And before you come to me with “would you feel the same if a woman said it about a man” (like people often do in this sub) the answer is yes, very much so.

Honestly as a woman I never had an issue with this sub and found it quite funny, but now it’s just had the biggest downfall. This woman didn’t go out with a megaphone screaming THIS GUYS SEXIST!!! She went to a small facebook club and explained what happened and got upset. She most likely did end up looking for another less-sexist barber, but why is the fact that she got upset bothering the men here so much. It’s odd. Downvote me all you want but sometimes you guys act as sensitive as the women …

I think you can. I think gendered ‘safe spaces’ are stupid. That’s why I also think the woman being turned away just because she’s a woman is also stupid.

What’s wrong with that if she wants a masculine hair cut?

Why does my other half matter? Or does my half Albanian side invalidate my opinion to racists like yourself? You are, but I’m aware no racist changes their beliefs due to a stranger on Reddit

Westerns? You might want to reserve your judgements because I’m half Yemeni. Israeli is an ethnicity. I’m not going to make this a Pro Palestine or Pro Israel debate, all you need to acknowledge is that you’re anti-semetic for completely dismissing a person’s opinion on the grounds of their ethnicity.

Oh congrats lol you’re dismissing someone based of something they have no control of, like their ethnicity. Just say you’re anti-Semitic and go, there’s no point dragging this out.

Thank you lol. Sometimes I think anti-semitism is decreasing, and then I run into threads like this and see the amount of up-votes something so blatantly racist has. It’s a pretty sad sight to see. The people aren’t the government.

It doesn’t matter. That still isn’t all Israelis. Dismissing Gal Gadot’s opinion just because she’s jewish is text-book racism and I can’t believe I’m having to even explain this

Are you purposely acting dumb? You just generalised all Israelis. No one is calling you racist for being anti-racism, we’re calling you racist for generalising all Israelis based on the actions of a few.

Really disagree with the first but definitely agree with the second

That’s how I feel it was genuinely infuriating. What made it even worse was the white people dripping with white guilt and shitting on their own race just as much

Quite young compared to some here, I’m 19 and I genuinely hate what Feminism is right now. I often feel like a black sheep with my girl power friends because of it though

OP please don’t say this lol it’s riddled with ignorance and if there’s someone in your class who knows their history you’re gonna get shredded lol

God you just butchered that story lol, that’s not it in the slightest here’s the brief version of the true story

Nah mate. Your entire previous argument was about personal life, I just responded to it and came my conclusion about why you have these beliefs
/r/AntiFeminists10/10/19 06:35 PM

But where did feminism come from? Are you sure you weren’t talking about the origins of feminism, mate?
/r/AntiFeminists10/10/19 06:33 PM

It still answers your question. Feminism regressed but it started because of the dominance of men
/r/AntiFeminists10/10/19 06:02 PM

Man that was sad. You clearly have some internalised hatred towards women due to your mother. You’re not the black sheep because you’re a “decent man”, you’re a black sheep because you genuinely think women shouldn’t have rights. I genuinely feel for the poor women who will ever come your way
/r/AntiFeminists10/10/19 05:18 PM
1

No. True feminism is a product of men dominating the society and unfairly treating women

I am incredibly loyal to whoever I need to be loyal to. “We gave them rights” why are you saying that like it’s anything to be proud of? Congrats for treating half of the population like they’re human. There are bad women out there who lie about rape, but men also commit more crimes and rape more than women. By your logic, are men also shit in general? Come on man, don’t turn this sub into what you claim you fight against.
/r/AntiFeminists10/10/19 03:57 PM

Thanks mate. Sometimes people like that make this sub feel more anti-woman than anti-feminist
/r/AntiFeminists10/10/19 03:45 PM

“Women are just stupid” “women are not made to be loyal” “a women needs to be intimidated” “if you let women loose they’ll do retarded things” Why do I have a feeling if a woman said those things about men you’d start screaming feminazi. You are sexist, and this is not the reality. You’re taking anti-feminism a tad too far
/r/AntiFeminists10/10/19 03:18 PM

Spot on. The weirdos on that sub just seem like they go on weekly scouts to find a white person saying “that’s racist” lol

If I’m honest I’m still unclear to the definition of an incel I’m just using what urban dictionary tells me lol and that says it’s mainly used towards men

I got called an incel once and I’m a woman

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
