there's a lot of reasons that "people have no respect for themselves". More likely than not they were treated terribly growing up, so try to have some compassion. Doesn't mean you have to date her, as others have said probably the best course of action is just to delicately extricate yourself from the situation.

I don't know why that would matter. In my case, I was in a relationship for 11 years with no abuse and then in one with abuse. It turns out that a horrible childhood made me more susceptible to this type of relationship, or rather makes me the kind of person less likely to leave bc of this behavior (bc I'm used to it from childhood).

Just remember that money will always matter to those who can't afford an education or their healthcare bills. You're a lucky person please use that luck to help the rest of society.

Well intelligence is valuable in the sense that it makes the person more fun to be around.

Hmm I would love to not care one day but I don’t get it. U don’t care what she does online? What about if she’s carrying on some flirtation w an ex and you are unaware? And others see? Wouldn’t that be embarrassing?

Yeah, I’m definitely insecure though as you say it’s a dirty word for a very understandable and common way of being. Also depends on the pic. A pic of a girl with friends and/or family, or a momentous occasion? Ok. A selfie or otherwise thirsty pic? Oh helllll naw.

Even though my husband wasn't the type to be "liking" girls' photos or god forbid anything worse, the constant influx of his girl friends, exes, women he didn't even know liking and commenting on his shit and always trying to interact with him wore on me. (He was a very active poster) I was insecure, jumpy, etc etc. We both got off of social media (not due to this, but due to hating what FB stands for) and my trust levels have increased tenfold.

Your observations could be submitted as evidence but you want to submit your conclusions. And you are also confused as to what is an observation and what is a conclusion. Ok so your argument won’t hold up in court then, but I guess it doesn’t matter bc we don’t have any standards for debate or discussion here?

Yes you can draw all the conclusions you like but the fact remains they are speculation and cannot be submitted as evidence

In addition to your observations you are theorizing about the behaviors you have witnessed, so no, they are not just observations. An observation would look like this: "My friend told me she felt tired and then she had a one night stand that same evening." Do you see how it says nothing about WHY she did so? If it did, that could only be speculation.

first off, he's not asking for it, we turn each other down about the same ratio. Second, if you start to see sex like a job it will make things worse. it's supposed to be something you both enjoy, not a selfless act like cleaning the bathroom as a favor.

Your statement is about the feelings and motivations of women, so unless you are a woman, it cannot count as evidence.

Mine is evidence, even if it’s just anecdotal. Yours is a platitude with nothing to back it up.

This is ridiculous. I’m more attracted to my husband than I have ever been to anyone. But these days I’m really tired, I have an extra 10 pounds I can’t seem to get off... am not in the mood for sex at all, with anyone. I don’t even have kids. It’s a good thing I suppose that he is not a crazy horny type bc apparently my ass would be on the curb 🙄

Sounds to me like sex addiction or if not psychological, perhaps a hormonal problem. I would think she needs to talk to a doctor or therapist first before throwing away her marriage.

I'm not sure what you suffer from. But for instance, someone with anxiety would do a lot better to go to therapy and figure out the source of their emotional distress and try to resolve it. Why? Because doing well in life becomes a lot easier if you are not half-mad with fear. A life coach would do nothing for this person, just give them more tasks to complete and worry about.

I’ve met lots of objectively attractive men and have not felt attracted to them. There’s a lot of psychological research that indicates emotional “chemistry” is largely a result of meeting someone who you sense can help you process and potentially heal a traumatic childhood wound of yours. Also, I’ve found that there are people whose smells I crave, even when they’re dirty from the gym. And others whose smells I can’t stand. So no, it’s not just an excuse to turn down ugly men.

Yep, this actually did happen to me while out at a bar. I was insulted and walked away and started talking to a different group of guys.

I think maybe you think they're not aware that I sleep with other people? They are in fact. My situation is kind of particular and it requires me admitting this to them.

I upvoted you because you're mostly correct. The truth is, I have volatile self-esteem. One minute, it's extremely high (and I can go out guns blazing and easily game the ladies) and another it's low because oneitis-girl kicked it around a bit. I don't like how fragile it is and subject to the whims of certain individuals. I know what's at the core of it (issues with how I grew up) and I'm working on it in other ways as well. I do think, however, that it's a valuable tool to go out there and mee…

Wow people are assuming a lot! I am not treating girls like shit it's just that right now I don't really care what they think of me and so I'm able to be my best self in front of them. I'm able to not be self-conscious. I treat everyone with kindness and respect.

I think you're assuming a lot there. I'm going out to have fun, have a good time (flirting, seducing, having sex is all fun). I'm not going out to make notches on my belt. It's much better to get out there and attempt to have fun than just sit around moping...

Hey I'm not saying oneitis is a great thing to have. I'm just saying, if you have it, might as well take advantage of it.

While I understand what you're saying, the fastest route to getting over oneitis is to distract yourself from the elephant in the room. And the fastest way to do that is to keep on gaming.

Kino. Touch them. Stand next to them and let your arm brush against theirs. Grab them around their waist. Push them playfully.

"In between assignments and classes, all I want to do is read books and escape in their worlds or day dream about returning to Germany." It sounds like you have some passions. This is not a bad thing. I would say continue to immerse yourself in your passions, it will only improve your inner game. As for obsessing about a joke, just apologize sincerely to the chick (if it's still appropriate, not if it might make things worse) and move on. Everyone flubs, makes mistakes, says things that make oth…

Conversation, as well as building attraction. I'm not actually qualifying for real, I pretty much only pursue women I already like, but IMO asking them to qualify themselves is a great way to make them be more attracted to you.

Well, it's his loss then. And also this girl's. You shouldn't spend time trying to analyze her motivations for flaking and wondering whether or not they're legitimate- the key point is, she flaked and so she'll have to deal with losing you as a possiblity.

It's supplicating basically. She was ready to drop everything to come to me, I should have just let her or been prepared to not see her- instead I dropped everything, and that ain't sexy, yo.
