By "equal work," that study means only 2 things: 1) Full time 2) year round. So doctors and grade school teacher, as long as they both work full time and work year round, are both considered "equal work." So it's not that these studies are per se discrimination against women. It's that men generally go into more lucrative fields, work more hours, put in more overtime, take less time off, and negotiate more. That is basically what the "wage gap" is derived from.

It's not a matter of "stooping to their level." It's about being able to address MR issues in a realistic and relaxed way. Doing something that stoops to the level of feminists would be for example, pulling the fire alarm at a women's rights conference or laughing at the genital mutilation of a woman. These are actions fueled by hatred. Rogan joking around about the ridiculousness of white knights and the hypocrisy of feminism doesn't stem from the same place.

The mainstream media already makes a joke of violence against men so I don't really see your point. As long as the issues of inequality against men are addressed, I feel like that is a step forward. People who aren't so wrapped up in political correctness will understand the issues at hand, even if it is through the medium of comedy.

For the most part, the major media networks don't care about us. Politicians never even mention men's rights or any of our issues. And obviously feminists will never agree with our points. Even if our primary voices are polite, soft spoken, and "professional," that won't suddenly spawn a massive wave of acceptance for the MRM. Rogan speaks the way guys speak to each other. Political correctness has its place, but it's not a requirement.
