Child support where I am from is a set amount per child based on the household income before the divorce. Kind of like the tax charts on the 1040. The income at the time of divorce of the custodial parent vs the non custodial parent is then used to determine how much of that set amount each parent is responsible for. In my area, child support isn’t just from 1 party. The amount set is based on the household income before divorce. Then a percentage of that amount is levied against the non custodial parent. It is assumed the custodial parent will spend the remaining out of their income. Example. Household income is $100,000/yr. Dad makes 70k. So Dads portion is 70%. Court says it takes $1000/mo. for child support. Dad is on the hook for $700/mo no matter who gets custody. He either pays $700 to mom or receives…

There’s some dumbass arguments against this sentence. This isn’t about the fairness of drug laws/sentencing. That’s not even a factor here. It’s about adults having toddlers do drugs. It’s child abuse. No different than giving children alcohol or beating them or molesting them. It’s evil and shows how little these people value the lives of others. Drug use can affect child development and these subhuman scumbags gave drugs to children who are developing at one of the fastest rates of their lives…
