There are plenty of incredibly intelligent and interesting people that you will not get along with and have nothing in common with. I probably won't have much to talk about with a microbiologist but could chat all day with a physicist. That doesn't make one person superior it just means we click. This is completely ignoring people who just don't want to talk--if someone strikes up small talk with me in an elevator and I don't want to talk I'll be polite but I won't put real effort into the conve…

Maybe this is just the people I surround myself with but most of my female friends by and large prefer a long period of non sexual time spent together. I really think it's about what you're looking for, since I and many of my friends are looking for long term partners the strategy makes sense. (and if you were planning on asking, no I'm not 'post wall' I'm 18)

I'm saying if the roles were reversed and listed what I specifically would enjoy as a woman. I've never understood the concept of trp orbiter. I don't have anyone on standby who just gives me validation and favors. I don't find it attractive when men lead with romantic interest, as I don't feel like we've gotten to know each other.

It's not really about that, it's more so that they don't know anything about you before meeting up or you them. I met my boyfriend on bumble so we were pretty much strangers but before we met up we at least knew we had half a dozen things in common. "you're cute want to get drinks some time" is very different from "I saw you do [blank activity] I also do that around [part of town] would you want to go grab coffee/drinks and chat about it sometime?" that at least establishes a common ground if yo…

I told a guy once after he insisted I tell him why I wasn't interested that he was just plain rude. Whenever I said I liked something he would go out of his way to say he didn't like it and it gave him this really rude faux alpha male aesthetic that was super unpleasant. His response was that that's just what women like and I didn't fall for it because 'you're special and not like other girls' gag. Basically admits that half his personality is one big pickup tactic and expects me to still be att…

Yeah if someone wanted to keep up a ruse for Litterally a year just to have sex I would fall for it but I don't think it's worth their while. Chemistry I use as an umbrella term for several aspects of compatibility, are they funny, interesting, intelligent? I have personal things I find attractive but I know that doesn't apply to everyone's preferences so it doesn't make sense to list them.

But that's your definition of what working means. I'm not trying to have sex with as many guys as I can, I'm trying to be in happy long term relationships and I stand by it being a good strategy for that. Your problem is your trying to use it as a solution to a problem I was never trying to solve

Once again my post was about people who don't want to be manipulative and cruel. If you just want to have sex with women you can surely be manipulative and lie to them but that's not a reliable strategy for a happy long-term partner ship. My strategies goal is a long term relationship and not to fuck as many guys as possible and it accomplishes that well.

What do you mean by 'pretend to be victims when they're caught in abusive relationships'. I stand by my statement of charm is nothing if you don't have chemistry but with the addendum that if you're planning on being abusive charm is great. I made my post assuming people weren't looking for tips on how to be abusive partners though so I left that out. I do believe you can form relationships by just manipulating people but I feel like the general consensus is that is cruel and narcissistic. Sure …

To be honest with you if someone I'd never met messaged me that they thought I was attractive and wanted to get drinks sometime I would be uncomfortable. Part of this is also the fact that we form parasocial relationships with people we see online, I feel alot closer to people on YouTube I've never met than acquaintances I've had for years. Also does really just seeing someone online make it OK to ask them out? If you haven't spoken before and you don't know them in real life it is honestly a li…

I definitely think this is a different version of the 'asking for it' argument. Like the poster said some people have no social tact and are very rude when they are rejecting people but it implies that it's a person's choice to be sexualized. Once it's understood what a slippery slope that is I think it's less about how women are 'destroying society' and more just how some people on an individual level are shitty sometimes.

I don't think this post adequately describes what "sexualizing ones self" is. If I'm going on a date with my boyfriend and I wear something nice I would say Im objectifying myself, I want my boyfriend to find me attractive and I wear something that shows that. However if walking to the date I get catcalled I don't think that's appropriate, the boundary there is that its not for them. Part of the implicit assumption here is that by looking a certain way means you're asking for whatever attention …

Commenting as a woman who has mostly been the instigator in relationships, you get to know a person a lot better before springing a move. Casual banter and flirting goes a long way in seeing if someone is interested in you. I've noticed a lot of guys get hung up on rejection when it didn't really seem like they had tested the waters before asking, charm is great and all but its nothing if you don't have chemistry.

actually here's a link about how women are more physically active on average The data for obesity does state that women are more likely to be obese than men, however when accounting for individuals who are overweight and obese, men are more likely to be overweight

Women spend on average an hour a day on hair and makeup and on average go to the gym more than men. Most women I know workout, maintain a reasonable diet and spend time and money on skincare and makeup. That's pretty average for women

Men are really out here defending their right to be slobs and still have women that are attracted to them. Women spend an hour a day on average on hair and makeup and they can't take 5 extra minutes on grooming?

The hygiene and care to style is like you said kind of the bare aesthetic minimum, in my opinion self improvement is always working to be more kind and empathetic. The more I feel like a person is able to set their ego aside, the more fun it is to be around that person. Also people who bring up the people around them, it's really noticeable when you're around someone who really enjoys being in the moment. I feel like some qualities in the red pill community get an over inflated importance put on…
