Yeah every situation is different and your goals are different then mine too. But why I was saying to sell the house is most likely the housing prices are going to keep falling until sometime in 2025. How much they fall is anyone’s best guess. But looking at the amount of tech layoffs it looks like we are going to have a bad recession IMO.

IMO, this is a horrible idea. The penalty and taxes for 401K withdrawal by its self is unwise let alone the compounding penalty from the withdrawal. I had a similar situation and sold my place and paid her out. I’m renting now and just waiting for the market to come down more and then will buy.

This ^ Only when it suits them will they be a feminist. You know you, keep pushing straight masculine males… at some point we are all going to snap and we are not the ones you want to fuck with!

So just wanted to be clear, this is coming from a guy that went through one of the worst divorces of all time (She cheated from the start, she did drugs, took money, tried getting me for everything, total bitch from hell) I say some people do change and you should not rule that out. She could have seen what she will miss now and she is fighting for it? Maybe consider going through marriage therapy (even if you had before, things are different now) and see what the outcome is? If she seems willin…

So it sounds like to me your wife might have BPD borderline personality disorder. I’m 99% sure that my ex-wife has it. But if you look it up you will see maybe it fits her like a glove? I just thought my wife was crazy, or bipolar, or something. But then I found out she was cheating on me the whole time in my fucking house too, with my kids in the next room! Doing drugs with her dad and sister, drunk picking up my kids from preschool… list goes on. So I had no idea about all this until after the…

Holy hell bro! Yeah I don’t know your whole situation, but you kind of sound like me and giving a lot. The thing I learned after all the hell I went through was to set consistent boundaries. Meaning her brother living with you guys and taking him on vacations seems to be moving the boundary until you snap or you keep getting taken advantage of. Not saying we should not give and help people out, but there needs to be healthy boundaries in any relationship. IMO. The crazy thing I have seen lately …

They agreed at first to represent each other and to keep it simple. She talked with her friends and family about it and they got it in her mind that she deserves more. She blindside him with a lawyer at court. He had no idea and honestly it was his fault because he didn’t pay attention the paperwork. But he went off her word (which clearly means nothing) and that is what fucked him. The lawyer presented evidence of verbal abuse and it quickly went down hill from there. The first hearing sealed h…

Yeah it was very unfair. Both did not start out with a lawyer but she got one first and by the time he did the damage was to much. He was able to keep the house, but then had to sell the house to pay for everything. So damn sad!

I have a buddy kind of the same as you, that makes $200K as a Enterprise apps engineer. He was Married for about 2 years, no kids, he had a house before the marriage. His now ex-wife was making about $80k at the time and during the divorce, she claimed he verbally abused her (I know him, it was not him it was her) in the 2 years and that is why she did not Advance her career. She got $4K a month for 3 years out of it. And he had to pay all the debt about $30K in credit cards. And the car he boug…

Well i do agree with you on that this should not have happen and no reason for the gun to be involved. All of this was controlled until the point of the gun being put into this situation. But your not correct on why the “2nd Amendment was there for foreign governments” the 2nd Amendment is for all levels of protection. Including home protection. I do not believe the home owner was in fear of his life or others life and he will have a very hard time including in Texas proving this. Castle law inc…

This ^ Everything said here is correct! Make sure everything is in the decree and if there is an issue get cops involved and let them take care of it. If they dont then get the courts involved. No reason to lose your life over shit that can be fixed other ways without losing your life. I feel sick watching this video, and so very sad over life that was lost and kids that will no longer have a dad there with them.

I’ll be praying for your brother! I know exactly how you feel. it’s a horrible feeling. But our God is good and he will be with you. Sometimes we don’t see the light through the darkness, but if we trust in Jesus (he can give you the peace that passes all understanding)…this was the only thing that got me through my horrible divorce. I truly believe if I could not have made it any other way. Like why would I have peace in that very moment, no matter the outcome?

Yeah it was part of it, I did not know she was cheating on me at that time… but she was dating several men since we’ve been divorced. So I did not want them here. I also have several cameras inside the house to protect me, just incase. I also know she has very little money left. So I can currently out spend her if we go back to court and she knows this. I also have evidence of her doing drugs during the divorce and my lawyer says if I need too, it can be used in court next time. I already have a…

Well you dont know me at all. You don't know how much i have grown during this time. I am not the same person i wrote about in here. This was the old me. Yes i agreed for her to stay with me to help her out. But that is before i knew all about this. After her lease is up she will be on her own for now on. I have made this very clear to her. Never give up on people, they will always surprise you.

I personally paid $45K for my divorce. But it was long and ugly. But she is crazy, She got fired from two lawyers. I did not know that could happen. So I don’t pay much in child support and I have the kids most of the time anyways. So it’s ok with me. Good luck, but always prepare for a fight, especially if money is on the line. Women love money more then men, that I’m convinced by.

This is so damn true! Most women think the grass is always greener. But then when they hop over the fence there is a lot of dog shit in that grass with ants and mosquitoes! They quickly realize how bad they fucked up, and try to hop back over to you. It’s called dog with two bones. Dog has a really good bone already, loves that bone will do anything for that bone. Then goes to get some water at the pond. But then sees another dog with another bone and becomes jealous of that other dogs bone and …

Doubt that, women Can get men so much easier then men can get women. Even if you look like Brad Pitt from Troy, it’s still not that easy compared to woman. 🤣😭

You might be right, well part right. I don’t think the evolving is a good excuse. Because not that damn long ago, it seemed more men where cheating on women. But now it really seems like it flipped.

So fuckin sad! I don't understand how women are like this. I am really starting to wonder if all women are like this?

Hindsight is always 20/20, so looking back now..yes I agree with you. But in the moment, no I for sure without a doubt did not see this shit. All the way up to signing the divorce papers, my family kept asking me “is she using again?” “Do you think she is cheating on you?” I always said I really don’t think so.

Man I’m really sorry to hear this! I just posted what happen to me A while ago with my now ex-wife. So I feel your pain. I don’t know why some women thank it’s ok to cheat but it seems more common now then any other time I can remember. The weird thing is, I know alot of people that are getting divorced or already have been recently and out of all the people I have talked with 11/15 of them the wife cheated on them. Only 1/15 was the guy. The other 3 there’s supposedly was no cheating. This is v…

It’s ok, i’m a lot stronger than before. I’m fairly confident I can tough this out. It’s only 1 year. So that’s at least good.

Yeah ok, it’s very hard for me to not help people. It’s really who I am. But again I had no fucking idea she was doing all this until this week, way after the divorce. If I knew now what she was doing then, I would not have agreed for her to stay with me.
/r/Divorce_Men03/10/21 02:49 PM

Yeah, thanks man! I do have cameras because I am worried she would do something. I also know now that I did allow her to get away with so much. But again I had no idea how bad it really was because she hides things very well. All I knew was she drinks a lot. That’s it at the time.

The greatest help you can give to somebody is allowing them to face the consequences of their actions. Yeah i do see your point. Its much harder then saying its so. Meaning i cant currently just take the kids. the law is already involved with her because of the shit she has done. So i have to have reason for everything and work with the courts. It takes time and i made a very bad decision with letter her stay with me. I will not make this mistake again.

Thanks man, yeah i see what your point is now. Its just hard over fucking reddit to get how someone is saying something. I just dont see that im enabling her, this is not for her its for my kids and also not long term. I will kick her out in a year because i cant stand this bitch! I get it, i am again not doing this for her. if she suffers so do my kids. its not like a company where i can let the pain happen because it does not effect me. This shit does and my kids are young and i want to minimi…

Well our world views might sound like they are not the same. I do believe love exist and there is so much proof that cannot be explained away. like way do people sacrifice them self's for others they do not know? Its not like its just a handful of people from one place. we are talking about fuckin Millions of people all over the world have done this over time. im not talking about now, i fucking hate her now. But before i did love her. I love my kids more.

What do you mean? Like before we got married? Or now?
/r/Divorce_Men03/10/21 04:57 AM

Maybe your right, but i think of a lot of scenarios. My main goal is to give my kids the best life they can get. I am very Analytical and can tend to make Decisions not best for me but for my long term goal for my kids. Again alot of this i did not know until she was already here. So its very hard to jump to that conclusion, that "literally the scum of the earth but then turn around and create a contract where she stays with you for a whole year" again i did NOT know she was this bad until this …

I dont think you read it all. Because we are divorced already. But you sound like an inconsiderate ass hole! I mean i just gave a lot of hurtful info and what do you do with that, try to kick the person that is already down. Your and ass hole!

But I don't understand why you enabled that bitch for so long, I ask myself this very question and i cant Honestly answer it. I was in love, so i was blinded to it. She is also a very good liar and i had no idea on most of this, until just this week way after the divorce.
/r/Divorce_Men03/10/21 01:56 AM
1

Well don't really agree with you there. Because i had no idea about all of this until 1 year 8 months after my divorce. She never told me and i did not see it. She is a very good liar. I dont think you read it all man.

Yeah i would cut her out now, but shit we did sign a 1 year agreement mostly for my protection and did not know what i know now or i would not have done it. So i am kind of stuck now. I will just be very carful and though it out for a year. But after that she is on her own and i will never let her stay with me again. like ever!

Yeah i know, One of my buddies said "Don't have sex with her at all, ever! She with ether call the cops for rap or bit your dick off." LMAO! its probably true, though. But i dont know if i can get a DNA test right now. If i find out they are not from me it would really crush me. She did say that they for sure are mine, like i can believe her...

Young, 5yrs, 7yrs, and 9yrs. Its hard because i have protected my kids from her for so long they have not seen much to any of the fallout from her. So they think of her as a good mom, when she really is a POS.
