2	TIL that in 2013, "Internet sleuths" wrongly accused Pablo Vergara of the mysterious death of Elisa Lam. He became a victim of doxing, cyber-bullying, and cancel culture. He attempted suicide and his life has never been the same, despite having been officially exonerated. This is an example of why people like Shaun King have to be held accountable for the shit they claim. Good cause or not— influencers can have millions of followers, and can literally cause mobs of bullies to attack someone they point a finger at.
