In the next few months, I will probably be moving in with the girlfriend of ~2 years. Is there anything I should keep in mind? This is honestly just a good way to avoid conflict. My husband and I contribute to a household account that we pay bills and get groceries and eat out on, but keep money for ourselves. If he wants to buy a new bass with that money, he can. We don't have to discuss it, he doesn't even have to tell me about it. I can get my nails done, buy shoes, drink $14 cocktails, and it's no skin off his back. We still treat each other to stuff and buy each other presents, but there's fewer conflicts. Seriousl… | /r/MensRights | 11/05/12 10:09 PM
Why is it taboo to suggest that a woman could have done more to avoid rape?I didn't say I hated to agree with you, I just hated to say it. and it's the first thing I think I've ever agreed with you on. Hey, at least I can admit it, right? | /r/MensRights | 27/04/12 02:06 PM
Why is it taboo to suggest that a woman could have done more to avoid rape?I hate to say it, but I 100% totally and completely agree with you on this one. It's fucked up to expect women to look at every man as a potential predator. Totally fucked and wrong and stupid and letmesayitagain FUCKED. | /r/MensRights | 27/04/12 01:27 AM
Here's some glorification of a woman who went into "She-Hulk mode" and physically dragged away, etc., a total creep on a subway. Imagine the outcry if the sexes were reversed...I would hazard a guess to say that a person who had the audacity to expose himself and masturbate on crowded public transport could be reasonably assessed as posing an imminent threat to you or someone else, especially when no one around will help - one guy made eye contact with her and shrugged. If she had tried to beat the shit out of him, I'd probably feel differently. If the same situation happened with reversed genders and reprocussions went in the way you described, I would agree that it w… | /r/MensRights | 25/04/12 03:25 AM

Imagine the outcry if the sexes were reversed...It's funny... personally, I admire what she did, though I know that'll be a contentious opinion around here. She couldn't be more than 5'3 or 5'4: I think the reason she was able to detain him was that he must have been shocked to have someone he most likely picked for being small and meek-looking stand up to him. As a survivor of multiple assaults I admire those who are able to stand up for themselves in a way I wasn't able to until after years of martial arts training and therapy. | /r/MensRights | 25/04/12 02:57 AM |

Imagine the outcry if the sexes were reversed...I heard her give an interview where she stated he started to run and she grabbed his collar, then held him by the arm from running again. | /r/MensRights | 25/04/12 02:39 AM |

Female Teacher and aides abuse autistic boy. I thought all woman were nurturing and perfect for child care. When I worked with special needs kids (the gamut from trisomy 21 to autism spectrum to cerebral palsy to more rare genetic disorders) this was my number one fear. Only one time did I get my hackles up about a caregiver, and I removed him immediately, but I still think about it every day. I hope to god I did right by those kids and earned the trust their parents put in me... I don't know how I could live with myself if I found out one had been abused under my watch. I don't understand how people … | /r/MensRights | 25/04/12 01:31 AM
Does anyone else feel like men have been stabbed in the back and the social contract between men and the rest of society is now broken? And after getting over the shock do you now feel absolutely free and unrestrained by customs and morals in regards to women?speak for yourself. the thought of coming home to my husband nurturing our kids and running the household after a long day of work is FUCKING HOT - and as discussions with my female friends go, they feel the same. I don't have that in me. I can't stand people who need me and have an extremely short temper. He has the patience of a saint and loves, loves, loves kids. And level of education isn't really an impediment to that happening. | /r/MensRights | 23/04/12 09:12 PM
Ryan Gosling saves feminist from being run over. Feminist is indignant.I can't tell you how warm and fuzzy that makes me feel. Something like this. Oh, OThomson, you're the only thing out there that makes me want to troll. Personally? I hope you live a happy and fulfilled life, as free of suffering as possible. Have a lovely weekend! | /r/MensRights | 06/04/12 05:33 PM
Ryan Gosling saves feminist from being run over. Feminist is indignant.oh, I get it... you don't want her to die, you just want her to die. Those are totally different. I'm not wishing death upon her How could I have misunderstood that?! | /r/MensRights | 06/04/12 05:18 PM

Is this a joke?!Collegeyeaaa has started to answer why that footage is worthless as a condemnation of Planned Parenthood, but I'd like to speak to some of your other issues. Don't know much about this. It depends on what is being included under the term "birth control", since this term includes abortion. Certainly not. The Hyde Amendment prevents any federal money being spent on providing abortions. factcheck.org has some good, unbiased information on how Planned Parenthood spends their budget and what they can… | /r/MensRights | 02/03/12 03:49 PM
Is this a joke?!The largest threat to women's access to birth control isn't legislation that affects only abortion: it's personhood laws that threaten many kinds of birth control as well, and politicized defunding of Planned Parenthood and programs and organizations like it. Hell, here in Texas Perry's going to turn down federal money that would pay for 130,000 low-income women to have access to well-woman exams, low cost birth control, and prenatal care from the federal government because the federal governmen… | /r/MensRights | 02/03/12 05:08 AM

Can you tell the difference between a Men’s Magazine and a rapist?Because I made that pie for my husband and I don't have to share it with every piece of self-entitled scum who demands it on my way to deliver it. Go back to Kindergarten, you clearly missed the lesson on the difference between sharing and bullying. | /r/MensRights | 11/12/11 05:23 PM

I'm a Misogynist. Tips for overcoming?I think us lady redditors need a special badge or something. from my experience, the game isn't about taking women of pedestals, it's about manipulating people. | /r/seduction | 25/11/10 03:15 AM
| -2 | I'm a Misogynist. Tips for overcoming?dude, it's THE GAME ITSELF that makes you hate women. Seriously. Pick-up artists are some of the biggest misogynists out there, and they're all about teaching you how to be a successful misogynist. You're totally normal. I don't want you to think you're a misogynist. Feeling like you hate someone(s) because they don't love you is different than hating someone(s) because of what they are. you might have some anxiety issues, or maybe a few compulsions, but I think you're being to hard on yourself.… | /r/seduction | 24/11/10 10:27 PM |
