Always the last place you look. My longest relationships (and current fiance) each started shortly after I stopped devoting so much energy to finding anyone and spent that time on improving myself.

Not to mention the whole point of the movie was that both Will Smith and Kevin James were successful despite his "coaching", not because of it. They couldn't have made it any more clear the point of the movie was "be yourself" without naming the movie "Be Yourself"

Then spend more time finding out what's on her mind. Ask her questions about herself and actually listen. You may be the exception to the rule, but most people I've found who claim to be struggle with conversation because they're "too deep" really just spout out random ass shit seeking validation from others that they're deep thoughts. An actual deep conversation is about connection, not the stuff that pops in your head while taking a shower. Everyone has depths. Try to find hers instead of drow…

Sometimes relationships don't work out because you're just not compatible in some ways. I'm still friends with, and regularly talk to, many of my exes

There's also a difference between masculinity and toxic masculinity. Men having much higher suicide rates because some guys don't feel like it's manly to talk about their feelings isn't the same thing as being confident in your self worth.

I didn't say it wasn't. I said this post isn't simping or masculine, nor are those words opposites of each other except in a very broad sense. Let me put it this way: women don't "simp" every often. Does that mean they're masculine? No. That's silly.

This doesn't really fit in either category, it's just having respect for yourself.

Yeah, the be yourself approach seems like it’s tired and over done, but it really is the best approach. I think what gets left out of that though is that if being yourself is unsuccessful, then improve yourself. at the very least the face you present to the woman you are trying to attract should reflect the person that you want to be, if not the person you already are.

Entirely possible. My most successful relationships have always followed a period where I took "time off" from dating to work on myself. But hell I'm getting close to 40 now so it's easier to see these things in retrospect.

If you read this and think "that sounds like a lot of work", then yes. If you read it and thought "hell yeah that sounds fun" then go for it. There's no one size fits all

It's not. Avoid people who respond to bullshit games and you'll be a lot happier. I mean unless you're into that. I'm straight forward and honest about what I want and who I like. I respond when I feel like talking and message when I think about the girl through out the day. I'm busy, so sure there are gaps in communication, but they're not contrived and artificial. This approach might work for some people but in my experience people who are attracted to bullshit games will also play bullshit ga…

I have naturally very wide shoulders, something about v-necks hang better on me. Crew necks make my upper body almost look disproportionate
/r/seduction24/06/21 03:28 PM

That can work for you, but is overkill. A pair of steel toed work boots, jeans, and a form fitting v-neck t-shirt has always been more than enough for me. As long as your clothes fit you and are clean you're fine.

Because most advice lacks context. "Approach with confidence" is good advice if you're prone to self deprecating humor or constantly doubting yourself. It's absolutely the wrong advice if you already think women should be grateful you took the time to tell them they should smile more. The only rules I think are actually solid: Treat her with respect Treat yourself with respect Be clear about your intentions Accept rejection with grace

I'm 38, met my 26 year old girlfriend with a variation on this approach, had several other similar short term flings before that. I'm in a college town so most of the women are way younger than me. Not sure how much that factors in

Here’s what works for me, ymmv: I write my name and number down and give it to her right before I leave. What I say is different in every situation but the goal is to just establish clear intention without pressure. Book store? “I’m on my way out, but I couldn’t leave without taking a shot on a gorgeous woman who enjoys reading. Here’s my number, text me yours if you want to go out this weekend.” Engage, then leave and let her come to you. Some guys prefer to be super aggressive and think that m…

Yeah... You still can't tell. She might be trying to get your attention, or maybe she just has COVID. Best to just keep your wits about you and keep looking for signs

If one approach worked for everyone there would be no need for subreddits like this. Your advice of "just do it" sounds great on a Nike commercial but obviously isn't working for OP or this post wouldn't be here.

Method that works best for me is to look her in the eyes and say "I'd like to kiss you now." Maybe it sounds lame but here's why it works: You're being clear in your intent You're making it ok for her to say no. This is something a lot of women don't feel like they can do so you just empowered her. It creates a moment of tension between the time you say it and the time you do it. Building anticipation is always good. Perhaps most important for me, I just committed myself to an action so now I ca…

Really doesn't matter what those three things are either (within reason). I'd say mine are My kids Fitness Video Games Nothing special there, but it's enough

So.. guy walks into the classroom, forgets to close the door, and instead of walking his ass over and doing it himself he asks a random person in the hall to do it for him? I don't think that had anything to do with his attractiveness

Now this is just my thoughts, but I think a large part of it is actually about her perceived value. If you have options, and you are talking to her, then you are signaling that she has potential value above what you already have available. If you have no options and you are pursuing her, it makes her feel like a last resort. So it's less about your sexual activity/desirability, and more about your motivations for approaching her.

Animal kingdom usually it's the males who send signals. In animals almost universally all "show" traits are restricted to males. Females of a species are the ones who act on and select the mate.

Don't let it go to your head though. I had a really hot girl constantly flirting with me in high school any time my girl friend wasn't around. After my gf and I broke up (for unrelated reasons) I sought her out and her interest had dropped to zero virtually overnight. Some girls just like the competition

Im 22 y/o and JUST now learning game so don’t give me that bs of “im too old to learn game”. Bro, I'm 35 and I constantly rediscover new depths to "game". You never stop learning.

Right, that's your problem. You're looking for a fantasy. A warm body to fill a predetermined mold in your head, not another person. Another person isn't going to fit neatly into a handful of a predetermined traits, and if you have in mind how she should be behaving before you ever meet her, then you're never going to find what you're looking for.

Women initiate sex all the freaking time.... But you have to make the environment conducive to that. If you maintain a relationship with her where she feels comfortable, sexy, appreciated, etc. she will initiate like crazy.

One or two maybe, but read your list again. Hell even discounting actual experience dating as an adult, the sheer number of times you mention "year book", "dorm room", or "class" in that list shows it's heavily biased towards kids. The rest of the list seems like it's straight out of a badly written romantic comedy. I'm not trying to be overly negative, it's just that most adult interactions are far more... Nuanced

Virtually none of those will be helpful past high school or maybe college. Everything on the list is very... Indicative of a young person.

That's also very true. There tends to be a distinct difference between high quality high end clothing and the flashy designer club clothes. Easiest to tell by the lack of obvious branding

No, the wealthy, at least those who come to it on their own rather than having it given to them, tend to make smart buying decisions. I recommend reading "The Millionaire Next Door" by Drs. Stanley and Danko who did an extensive study on self made millionaires. But quick preview: they drive Hondas and buy their clothes at Walmart. People who are quickest to display their wealth are often the ones who have it in shortest supply. Or they are entertainers whose wealth is tied to a certain image, wh…

There's a correlation, but not simply because of the brand in most cases. It's two things: Someone wearing expensive brands likely put time, care, and thought into their appearance and Wearing nice things makes you feel good about yourself and that increased confidence will give you a boost. The actual effect of brand recognition, there's about as many women who would be turned off by it as attracted to it, although those numbers are probably slightly skewed in a club environment. For every girl…
