Alison Armstrong who does seminars for women on the differences between men and women points this out very clearly. Women are shaped by the world around them. Their identity is easily malleable to what the world demands of them. This is a good survival strategy when you are weaker than the other half of the population. If they are pleasing perhaps they wont have to defend themselves as much. Or even better be pleasing enough someone will defend you for free. She says this becomes the most eviden…

Because men have this habit or arguing with logic. Women do not care for logic, just feelings so therefore no argument can be won, so men start looking for opportunities to avoid arguing. Bill Burr stated it best: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uQOyXlsoS04

I think being popular you develop social skills and personality that serves you in college, say in a fraternity, Knowing a lot of people gets you told about a possible internship, That leads to a job offer, that leads to a career. Being good at getting along with other people and being influential leads to general better outcomes. There are still pitfalls along the way. If you are popular because you are the biggest drinker and coke head you are going to burn up quick. It's also not to say these…

It comes down to how women process decisions. How do men do it? Logic, Information, facts, past experience. How much do emotions play in our decision making? Not to much usually. Now take a woman. All of her decision making is based on emotion. So if you are pleasing her man she is the light of your life because her emotions tell her to be that. But cross her and nothing you have ever done before matters. You are done. This is why men who go into divorces thinking thier reasonable wife will ac…

I think it;s sort of a male brain thing in so far as we are interested in things, we want the best "Things" . It comes out of the perfectionist part of our brain. When we are young society and marketing tells us what the best is. But as we grow wiser we learn what the best really is. So while we can admire a Ferrari now we also know the maintenance and up keep on them is no where near the "best" . House is the same. Best way to cure yourself of it is owning one. You get sick of it real quick. I …

I think it's when they realize the reaction they have been getting from men mostly stems from thier own actions. They honestly tend to think 5 guys I have dated all tuned into assholes inside of 3 weeks of dating them so therefore all guys are assholes. When they finally honestly look at how they acted (constant criticizing, shit tests, belittling) and realize they were the reason the men soured on them. It;s an eye opener. Yes hitler considered Jews parasites, He used similar gas on the Jews that he used to kill rodents in factories. Jordan Peterson discussing that does not imply he agrees with it or condoned it. When you study evil you have to talk about that evil. You get that right?

I was in a non facilitated mens group for years. We never got above 8 /9 members. I do not think you can build trust in a room of 30 people. And definitely not women. The ones you have listed are pretty high paying so they have thier groupies. But on average no woman wants to date a man that has his name on his shirt. Unless they make 100k year or more. Then they will accept it, but usually only when the women are past thier prime.

Have to think about the woman's body as a value she can use. The threat of that value is a sexual harassment lawsuit. So at the low level some low level manager makes a move on her, she complains and the guy is fired and she gets his position. That's the value trade. As she moves up now the guy worth 10 million to to the company makes a move. They know shes not worth 10 million like the guy is so they offer her 1 million to go away. So her value will get her ahead easily but it won't take her ve…

Are you a woman? Because only a woman could think that society could affect a mans purpose in life. Women are influenced by society and adjust accordingly. Men don;t give a shit what other people think. if they know thier purpose is true and noble they follow it. How the hell you think everything in this world gets done every day? A classic I like is "Three days of the Condor" 1975. Although it has a love story sub plot and a hostage hooking up with her hostage taker while she lies to her BF. The main story for men can be seen in the monologues of the assassin Joubert when he talks about his profession: " No it is quite peaceful, quite restful. No need to believe in either side, or any side. There is no cause. There is only yourself. The belief is in your own precision."

I heard a woman Alison Armstrong talk about it one time. She leads seminars for women on understanding men. She said women emasculate and criticise men when they are at thier peak masculinity because thier cave woman instinct is to keep masculinity in check. Because deep down they fear it. Because unchecked masculinity could become a danger to them. So they have an instinct to always knock it down when they see it / feel it getting to strong. So it's the thing they find attractive and want but d…

This is 100% true and accepting it will give you an insight into women. Men have honor. Definition of honor - doing the right thing no matter how you feel. So men we do not care how we feel, it does not affect our decision making. In the US it is called a Freedom of Information Act request. You will usually hear people say "I am going to FOIA that" It does not jut have to be about you. IN most states the rules are you make the request and the agency has a certain amount of time to give you the requested data. There is nothing to complain about really because you left voluntarily. Complaints are for violations of policy. Police can come and talk to you all they want. They can make requests of you. I can't see things getting much better. We are a few years away from driverless tech taking over the largest category of jobs for men "Driver" . When that many men are out of work how many more marriages are going to break up. THey are on the brink now imagine all the men depressed because they have nowhere to go everyday, feeling not needed, useless. THis country cannot even gather the political strength to take care of it's veterans mental health, what the hell is going to be available to the …

The shift to female leads the last few years does not seem to be slowing down. That can only mean one thing. They are making money. Either females are the majority ticket buyers or they are the major influencers about movie selection. Or perhaps even with the advent of video games men are staying home more and their participation in the movie market has fallen off. Leaving just females as ticket buyers, of course hollywood will give them what they want.

A woman named Alison Armstrong (www.understandmen.com) talks about when her girlfriend was talking with a man telling him how all the men she dates start out great but turn into assholes after a few months. His response was: Oh, you my dear must be a frog farmer. She said what the hell is a frog farmer?? Well in the fairy tale the princess kisses the frog and turns him into a prince. She takes a prince and turns him into a frog. What she got from the story is this. Women do not realise the…

I have FB for a few automotive related groups. Every other month or so I click on my home screen and read my feed. About 5 minutes is all I need to get back into my protected world of the groups. My groups are all mostly men in them and if anything political gets brought up it's killed off pretty quickly. At the rate it's going I think Reddit will get my delete button before my FB groups. That's saying something!

People often put a negative connotation on the word meaningless when really it should not have one. Life is empty and meaningless. But it is empty and meaningless that life is empty and meaningless. Once you wrap your head around that you can see that life is open to anything. And that's exciting.

That is true none of us make it out alive. If you want to get to the bottom of it I would suggest Landmark training. Actually answers that very question. Fun weekend as well. https://www.landmarkworldwide.com/the-landmark-forum

I wish every male gaffer, rigger, sound engineer, camera operator and limo driver also decided to bow out that evening and leave it all up to the ladies. See that women's empowerment in action as we all watch a blank screen. There aint that many butch lesbians in LA that can handle all that work.

We got the gender neutral bathrooms in CA this month. It's great as a man using the women's. You know they got mirrors in theirs? And no graffiti scratched into the toilet seat. Plus they got the fold down baby changing shelf's, no more putting your bag on the floor. THey even got coat hooks! Friggin paradise!

I belong to a Mens group in Los Angeles and we have a hard time finding new members. And we are not even focused on a specific issue like Non Custodial parents. So your focus on one specific sector will be limiting in a population (men) that do not seek out help very easily. You did not mention if yours was co-ed or just for men? I would imagine the presence of females would have an effect on men recently going through divorce.

Brian refuses to go these games by himself or with others See that just would not happen. Men would have no problem going anywhere by themselves. And in some cases prefer it. The more apt, but controversial, comparison would be sex. If the woman does not want to attempt to meet a mans sexual needs then he should not even attempt to meet her social needs. They are more in line to what is important to men and women respectively.

Also not a bad idea to record any conversations with her. People are apt to say things they may never write (like an admission of what she is doing for the BF sake) . Are there apps to record your cell phone calls yet? EDIT: Yup just looked plenty of them. This should probably be standard for college men these days to record all calls just in case.
